kansan “I first got into reenacting out of an interest in learning about history in a deeper way. It’s one thing to read about something; it’s another to experience it for yourself. Living history is more than wearing clothing of a different time period; it involves research into history, culture and people, and portraying that to the public. I hope that our efforts help future generations understand our complex world and gain a greater appreciation of our shared past.”
