The heritage of craftmanship The economy of Greece is the 32nd or 37th largest in the world at $312 or $309 billion by nominal gross domestic product or purchasing power parity respectively, according to World Bank statistics for the fiscal year 2009–2010. Additionally, Greece is the 15th largest economy in the 27-member European Union. In terms of per capita income, Greece is ranked 29th or 33rd in the world at $27,875 and $27,624 for nominal GDP and purchasing power parity respectively.

A developed country, the economy of Greece mainly revolves around the service sector (85.0%) and industry (12.0%), while agriculture makes up 3.0% of the national economic output.[5] Important Greek industries include tourism (with 14.9 million[22] international tourists in 2009, it is ranked as the 7th most visited country in the European Union[22] and 16th in the world[22] by the United Nations World Tourism Organization) and merchant shipping (at 16.2%[23] of the world's total capacity, the Greek merchant marine is the largest in the world[23]), while the country is also a considerable agricultural producer (including fisheries) within the union. As the largest economy in the Balkans, Greece is also an important regional investor. The Greek economy is classified as an advanced[24] and high-income one,[25] and Greece was a founding member of the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD) and the Organization of the Black Sea Economic Cooperation (BSEC). In 1979 the accession of the country in the European Communities and the single market was signed, and the process was completed in 1982. In January 2001 Greece adopted the Euro as its currency, replacing the Greek drachma at an exchange rate of 340.75 drachma to the Euro.[26] Greece is also a member of the International Monetary Fund and the World Trade Organization, and is ranked 34th on the Globalization Index.[27] The country's economy was devastated by the Second World War, and the high levels of economic growth that followed throughout the 1950s to 1970s are dubbed the Greek economic miracle. Since the turn of the millennium, Greece saw high levels of GDP growth above the Eurozone average[28] peaking at 5.9% in 2003 and 5.5% in 2006. Due to the late-2000s financial crisis and the European sovereign debt crisis, the Greek economy saw growth rates of –6.9% in 2011,[29] –3.4% in 2010,[29] –3.3% in 2009[29] and –0.2% in 2008. The country's public debt-to-GDP ratio stood at 165.3% of nominal gross domestic product in 2011.

The Economic Values Greek exports recorded a significant increase in March 2021 based on the provisional data announced today 10.05.2021 by the Hellenic Statistical Authority and processed by the Institute of Export Research and Studies (IEES) of SEVE. According to ELSTAT data, the country's exports amounted to € 3,338.1 million and increased by 34.6%, ie € 858.3 million compared to March 2020, when they amounted to € 2,479.8 million. Respectively, upward by 31.6%, ie € 1,304.1 million was the course of imports that amounted to € 5,428.4 million in March 2021 compared to € 4,124.3 million in the corresponding month of 2020, when The first signs of the spread of COVID-19 in our country are obvious. Regarding the course of Greece's trade in the period January-March 2021, they are considered particularly positive and strengthened. More specifically, exports amounted to € 8,756.2 million in the first quarter of 2021 compared to € 7,988.6 million in the first quarter of 2020, with an increase of € 767.6 million, ie 9.6 %. Significant progress was recorded by most sectors of Greek exports, especially chemicals (increase of € 252.3 million, ie 21.7%), food (increase of € 107.5 million, ie 8.3%) and industrial (increase). increase of € 105.4 million, ie 8.2%). Mario, Harry and our friends at Salt Odyssey were enthusiasts of the Greek organic food market before we set our sights on salt and spices. Our preoccupation with food is a family affair. We reserve stores and health food production workshop in Thessaloniki since 1982! Our main raw material is the qualitative Greek salt, Messolonghi salt, a region protected by the Ramsar environmental treaty. All other raw materials are chosen in the light of the excellent organoleptic properties (taste, aroma, color), certified organic cultivation (herbs, sesame) or traditional processing (smoked paprika). Through long years of testing, the research team was led to a combination of essential oils from 3 aromatic herbs, namely, Coridοthymus capitatus, Salvia fruticosa and Origanum dictamnus, in specific proportions, in a form of a soft capsule, dissolved in extra virgin olive oil, as well as vitamin D3 (cholecalciferol). This mixture does not simply have a cumulative but a true synergistic effect. Description The NX-135C is a night vision clip-on afocal sight for mounting on top of Laser Range Finders and optical day sights to provide night vision capability. The NX-135C features a 150 mm EFL, f# 1.7 objective lens to collect light during the night. Despite the fact that this lens has the largest focal length in this class of instruments, the complete sight is lighter and more compact than competing designs. In addition to providing increased recognition and ranges, the selection of a large objective gives a of view (6,7 degrees) that is a better match to the of view of most Laser Range Finders day sights. The NX-135C also the largest output and large optics; 40mm to closely mach the input apertures of the day optics onto which is attached. Due to its exact, factory set, 1X the NX-135C mounts with their special mounting brackets on LRFs and day sights without boresighting settings. The user continues to operate the day sights as usually. Reticle readings, eye relief distances and shooting/observation practices remain the same as in a day time. The NX-135C features a Field Adjustable Boresight ( FAB) capability. Using the FAB the Sight's optical axis can be accurately adjusted in elevation and windage, thus achieving convergence with the day sight optical axis. The large aperture dichroic at the exit of the NX-135C allows the use of the LRFs or day optics during the day without prior removal of the NX-135C. The NX-135C employs an inverting 18mm, Generation 3, XD-4 or XR5 image assembly. Power is provided by one (1) AA size battery of any voltage between 1 and 5 volts. A variety of mounting brackets is available for LRFs and optical sights.

Tests can be conducted either on the final product or during the design phase (pre-compliance tests). In the later case, hints can be provided in order to remove probable non-compliances. ELBO’s Electromagnetic Compatibility Center is located in Thessaloniki’s Industrial Estate (Sindos) and utilizes the largest Anechoic Center in Southern Europe, specially designed to accept vehicles and similar large-scale systems in operation.

Greece has a capitalist economy with a public sector accounting for about 40% of GDP and with per capita GDP about two-thirds that of the leading euro-zone economies. Tourism provides 15% of GDP. Immigrants make up nearly one-fifth of the work force, mainly in agricultural and unskilled jobs. Greece is a major beneficiary of EU aid, equal to about 3.3% of annual GDP. The Greek economy grew by nearly 4% per year between 2003 and 2007, due partly to infrastructural spending related to the 2004 Athens Olympic Games, and in part to an increased availability of credit, which has sustained record levels of consumer spending. But the economy went into recession in 2009 as a result of the world financial crisis, tightening credit conditions, and Athens' failure to address a growing budget deficit. The economy contracted by 2.3% in 2009, 3.5% in 2010, and 6.0% in 2011. Greece violated the EU's Growth and Stability Pact budget deficit criterion of no more than 3% of GDP from 2001 to 2006, but finally met that criterion in 2007-08, before exceeding it again in 2009, with the deficit reaching 15% of GDP. Austerity measures reduced the deficit to 11% of GDP in 2010 and about 9% in 2011. Eroding public finances, inaccurate and misreported statistics, and consistent underperformance on reforms prompted major credit rating agencies in late 2009 to downgrade Greece's international debt rating, and has led the country into a financial crisis. European leaders and the IMF agreed in October 2011 to provide Athens a second bailout package of $169 billion. The second deal however, calls for Greece's creditors to write down a significant portion of their Greek government bond holdings. In exchange for the second loan Greece has promised to introduce an additional $7.8 billion in austerity measures during 2013-15.
