This year has obviously been very different with Covid-19 shaking up the world of work, especially in some sectors. Students got used to doing a lot by Zoom, including listening to university liaison officers and interacting in virtual open days and webinars. We did manage to get 26 students out on a Gateway placement and in work experience. Despite all of this, many students have organized their next steps, applying for courses and accommodation and scholarships. Many students have made CVs and had success in finding work in the area of hospitality, engineering, horticulture and childcare.
