The Girl Who Threw Butterflies is about a girl named Molly who loves baseball. She just lost her father and her mother is uninvolved. Fueled by her love of baseball she decides that she will try out for the boys baseball team thinking it will make her dad proud. With the support of her friends she tries out and makes the team, but not everyone is glad she is on the team. After all the obstacles she faces Molly gets her time to shine in a baseball game and does just that. For an excellent read check out The Girl Who Threw Butterflies. The book was fast paced and it seamed really short but It was a really good book to read.
