There is a sudden rise in the Global Demand for Metals The rising demand for metals has always been an issue in terms of manufacturing. Procuring these metals through mining is not environmentally feasible. Hence scrap metals recyclers like the Lucky Group meets these demands by recycling scrap metals.

The world today is going back to the ‘age of metals’. Metal prices are on the rise again because of the sudden adoption of metals, by certain industries for the benefit of both the industry and the environment as a whole.

The blatant use of plastics without a controlled recycling plan has today, brought the world to its knees. The majority of trash that ends up in landfills consists mainly of plastic. Since consumers themselves have not changed their ways when it comes to dumping plastics into their trash cans; concerned manufacturers are trying to do their bit for the environment.

If plastics had an almost perfect recycling structure like metals and Copper, today’s world would be a lot more different. Consumers would have disposed plastics properly and these plastics would reach recycling plants in the right manner where they could be sorted and then re-used. But sadly, this is not the case. A majority of plastics do not reach manufacturers and since plastic is extremely cheap to produce – there is huge demand for it – because of consumers who prefer it out of habit. It is a tough task for environmental organizations to change consumer behavior which is why, concerned manufacturers and industries have taken the matter into their own hands. The food industry for example is gradually shifting to tin instead of plastic or tetra packs as they are more environmentally friendly. Moreover, people know that metal has value (that it can be sold) which is why even if someone carelessly dumps them, someone else will always collect them and sell them off for a price. After all a metal once produced never loses its value simply because energy was spent on shaping it in the first place.

Metal unlike plastic has over the years developed a well strategized and organized recycling structure. Apart from being profitable for manufacturers, it gives manufacturers a green stamp and reduces their carbon footprint. The Lucky Group is one of the leading scrap metal recyclers and aluminum alloy manufacturers in Dubai. Their efficiency in producing high quality metals with minimum impact to the environment has won the Lucky Group many certifications and awards both in UAE and globally.
