GUAYMARAL WORK AREA
Torca Guaymaral is located at the north of Bogota. It presents urban and environmental conditions that give it a different value in the city . In the environmental system there is the Toca-Guaymaral wetland, the eastern hills, the Van der Hammen reserve and a land condition for agriculture. In urban terms the land of this sector presents urban conditions around the highway and residential urbanizations, whereas the conditions in general of the land are determined like protection and expansion land.

The development of this workshop is focused on the analysis of two referents and subsequently applying them in the studyed territory. for the practical part, the project in evident in plans, models and photomontages.
Successive planned actions in the territory, which have as porpose to contribute to the general planning of the city vision . also , they are the basis that allow the project development
ATTACH By the conectivity of the environmental systems, and the restoration of the main ecological structure it is sought to reconnect the environmental elements of the territory for its maintenance and sustainability
INFILTRATE By integrating the environmental and urban elements the idea is to generate spaces that allow to improve the quality and local perception of each place of the territory by its inhabitants.
HYBRIDIZE Developing a process of variety of uses it is support the functioning and the dynamics of the territory based on the diversity of functions and activities that allow an integration of different social and cultural groups.
RESTRUCTURING Implementing a new type of urban fabric, we look for an improvement in the permeability of the territory and in this way guarantee the relation of the environmental and urban elements.
