San Diego Museum of Art Wayfinding System
Wayfinding System for the San Diego Museum of Art The design is simple and modern. It is focused on color and typography. Four colors are used throughout the design system. There are nine icons total. Five of the icons are used within the main building of the museum. These five icons are for facilities and basic areas within the museum. The four remaining icons are used for the separate buildings including the museum. These icons are used mostly on the map and location signage. Signs utilized inside the museum are vinyl signs mounted on the appropriate walls. Outdoor signage are on poles and hanging banners. All signage is simple and utilize geometric shapes that support the geometric logo of the museum.
