50th ANNIVERSARY ALL CLASS REUNION Date: Saturday, June 21, 2014 Time: 1p.m. – 11p.m. Location: Outside on the central mall of MCCC’s main campus EVENT DESCRIPTION The All Class Reunion will be a full one-day event celebrating the half century of enriching lives – starting in the early afternoon. The day will include a full slate of entertainment throughout the day and into the evening culminating in a free headline musical performance and fireworks show. The intent is to provide a day of fun for current and former staff, alumni, and the community that highlights the many accomplishments created as a result of MCCC. The event will include an alumni art exhibition, musical stage performances, a feature performer, smaller performers around campus, bounce house, beer and wine tent, culinary exhibition, gift store, alumni tent, food concessions, and much more. Schedule and placement of entertainment will be designed to encourage guests to circulate around the entire central campus mall. CAMPUS PARTICIPATION The All Class Reunion is intended to prominently feature the many contributions made by MCCC over the past 50 years. This all-ages event will have a street fair/carnival atmosphere, and will be open and publicized to the general public. The Foundation at MCCC has generously agreed to underwrite this event. MCCC is actively soliciting enthusiastic participants to plan and staff events/activities that represent a particular area/service on campus. The incorporation of alumni and retirees in planning and execution of these activities is encouraged. The attached form is intended to help you begin the planning process, and coordinate with the overall planning of the day’s events. Each academic division will be offered area under a tent in which to honor the history of the division, feature its accomplishments, and highlight current program offerings. Every effort will be made to accommodate any special requests that are needed to make your exhibit/activity as fun and engaging as possible.
