Discovering the Susan Boss Print by Shehim and Ben C.

!

The first time I noticed the Susan Boss print I thought that the person who made it was long gone dead. However, one day my class and I went to discover things about certain pictures. We discovered pictures like the picture tiles and the Susan Boss print. I didnʼt know Susan Boss made it so then I asked our teacher, “Who made that?” ! ! “Your art teacher made it.” Ms. Paglia Baker said. !

I was so surprised. How could our art teacher who we have known for years create this amazing mural? I just couldn始t believe it. But I had to believe what my own teacher said. !

! We were drawn to this beautiful mural because of the unsolved words, which only one person knew what they meant. Susan Boss would know so we asked her what she meant when she wrote: One generation passeth away but the earth Abideth forever. She said that the words meant, “One generation passes away but the earth stays the same.” That reminds me of the words to my brotherʼs rap song, “Live life and show appreciation give thanks to the life that we are living and never hating.”

I think this mural is a very good message to all the students, teachers, and parents. I think it also shows this message, “Take care of yourself, take care of your school, take care of each other. Otherwise you could call them the three golden rules. !

The picture is always there to remind us - Devon - student , John adult, Nancy - teacher. A good message for all!
