This is the story of my friendship with Yona, the first dog I met in my life. It’s a story about how a dog could give a little girl just what she needed. It is for all grown-up children who feel they were once seen by their pet in a way other than by their mom and dad. However loving they may be, parents are at risk of lovingly smuthering their little ones in their own dreams. Unconsciously telling them to become what they could not be. But their desires may not be ours. Yona - to my great luck - had very different desires. They were more about taking a long walk and any snacks I could provide her with. For the rest she looked at me without any expectations. Only curiosity and wonder about what came next.
