Drawing 1 charcoal on newsprint 18 X 24in Here are a few drawings done while studying as a Fine Arts major at the Community College of Rhode Island. Most of these were done as quick warm up drawings or exercises, where the focus was more on the diversity of markings rather than getting a precise rendering of the subjects.

Erewhon “Uncomplicate Your Life” advertising, copywriting, layout, typography This project was for my Copywriting and Art Direction class where we had to take the existing brand Erewhon, and create an advertising campaign. Through researching Erewhon’s customers and the competition I then wrote and designed the campaign “Life is Complicated” juxtaposing the busy lives of the consumers and the simplicity of Erewhon’s organic ingredients. For the creative I decided to use a picture of one of the ingredients in the cereal with blocks of typography in a grainy font to elevate this ‘organic’ style.
Design For Good typography, branding In this project I was tasked to design and conceptualize a ‘design for good’ organization. I created Ripe , a non-profit organization committed to spreading awareness about the benefits of eating local farm-grown produce and livestock. I designed my logo by hand, as well as creating a poster design with Ripe’s motto ‘Fresh, Local, Smart’, along with a mock-up of a website and bumpersticker.

2015 Poster Designs typography, color, layout 11.5 X 17in
Here are three posters I designed to go along with an ad campaign some peers and myself comprised for our Creative Advertising class for JWU’s Health and Wellness Fair. As well as the posters I designed the logo featured at the bottom for the campaign as well. My vision was to create something that would catch the attention of the JWU community as they passed them by day to day, using a combination of bright vibrancy in the color choices and clean bold type for our headlines

Fuego Bar & Grill branding This is a personal project that I decided to create a fictional restaurant called ‘Fuego Bar & Grill’ to create branding for. I wanted the restaurant to be quirky using puns in my menu write-up, so I incorporated bright colors and illustrations to showcase that whimsical feel.
FM Global Infographic layout, typography, branding standards In this project I was tasked to create an infographic for FM Global’s magazine, INK. about the spice trade. After researching spices around the world, I then moved onto creating a layout spread. I placed a graphic of a world map reaching over onto the facing page to create good use of the space on the page, as well as introducing to the reader the origins of each spice they would be learning about. On the following page I placed graphics coupled with a large typographical element as a description of each section followed by the facts of each spice. Along with the magazine layout, we had to reorganize this information in a clear and legible manner for digital readers as well.

Snapple Cause Marketing For the Cause Marketing part of our campaign I was tasked to create a web page that would live on snapple.com under their partnerships. When creating this part of the campaign Cause Marketing & myself through collaboration decided that this part of the campaign should have a different feel than the rest of our campaign. With this direction I created a moodboard with colors and fonts that would compliment our complete campaign but also separate the Cause Marketing as something different, while still maintaining Snapple’s branded ‘snapply’ look and feel. With this new direction ad team member Jayson Braynen and I created Cause Marketing peripherals Credits: Jayson Braynen, Banner Ads

Mini Zine layout design, illustration, typography In this assignment I created a min 8-page magazine called Overgrown, a magazine made for overgrown children and under-ripe adults. Using articles written by some close friends and myself I comprised the stories and topics they were passionate about and paired them with some of my own illustrations with the goal of making a unique reading experience that captures just how it feels to be a young adult.
Invitations typography, print design For this assignment I created an Invitation, Save the Date, & R.S.V.P. for a New Years Eve party. Going along with the ‘Great Gatsby’ Theme, I designed my invitations with a heavy focus on typography and vector imagery, incorporating intricate 1920’s borders and utilizing the classic ‘New Years Eve’ black & gold color scheme.
Food Truck branding, package design, typography For this assignment I was tasked to create a brand for a food truck that I named Dolce, a Parisian-esque pastry and coffee haven. First comprising a Competitors Audit & Branding Strategy and then moving on to creating a logo, menu, packaging and truck design to round out our whole brand.
