I am delighted to share with you highlights from our Centenary Gala Dinner. Celebrating this one-in-100year occasion with our staff, supporters, sponsors and VIP guests was an honour. Knowing that Karitane has been supporting families for 100 years is truly rewarding and an achievement that was worthy of a grand celebration, a what a momentous night it was.
Over 100 years of service, our purpose has remained unchanged - to always be in partnership with parents and professionals, working together to ensure that the children of today and tomorrow can have the best start to life.
Today we are proud to be part of an organisation that changes the lives of so many families. Our Board of Directors, CEO and Executive team, together with the innovative thinking and exceptional clinical knowledge and skills of our teams and rich wisdom from key stakeholders, have reimagined an inspiring Karitane, which continues to evolve and grow. We are building contemporary, modern services for the future, listening and responding to the needs of parents from all communities whilst respecting and appreciating our history. As longstanding leaders in child and family health services and perinatal infant and child mental health, we live true to our values of Collaboration, Excellence, Respect and Innovation which shape our culture and identity and remain at the heart of all our work.
