PORTFOLIO1
Currently, Karl lives in Budapest and takes an active part in contempory art with paintings, installations and video-art. The essence of his work is the material. It is based on a painstaking research and experiments. He loves to be challenged. He is like a living laboratory, fuming with ideas and blasting with energy. Textures are very present in his paintings. Karl's current aim is to create large size of paintings, using recovered materials, raw wood, rusty metal, stones, wires, dust and whatever he can lay his hands on. The “artist’s presence” is vital and live performances are created for his openings.
