DISPLAY
BA Graduation collection Collection “Display follows the function of clothing and how it forms a character. Questioning, whether how we dress is who we are or just how society see us, leads to the idea of manipulating others basic understanding about style and outfit by making error right and ugly beautiful. Compromising between a fear and dare to look wrong and be misunderstood. Forming post-modest false existence which later becomes true by being accepted/seen in society. The aim of the collection is to show many possibilities how to dress and be unique, outstanding with boldness and color, combining different textures and layers. Letting people know that making mistakes in fashion no longer noted as wrong, more like a way of self-representation or expression. Clothing is more than a modesty or protection. Dressing up is a want to play, a statement of the personality you either have or create by a model that exists as fashion. Adorn yourself for the life you want to, not for the life you have.

DISTRICT
Summer 2016 visual story project The idea comes from my own personal background, combining memories of a teenage introvert escapism with curiosity for the industrial warehouses - locations of my hometown district. The inner quest of a self-sufficient autonomy turned into a location scouting, which made me think and question what are the reasons that still turn my head there? How much can a district - on the same economical level - change itself and its surroundings? Looks are combined of previous and latest collections and personal items, as a overview from past to present and towards future. LT3D
Workshop with sculptor Gitenis Umbrasas Connecting fashion, art and lithuanian traditions into three costumes, which would represent Lithuania to an international level. Idea was inspired from lithuanian goddess laumė, who used to steal children from people and changed them with a straw head doll. Laumės had a strong desire for motherhood and dressed up stolen kids in the most beautiful clothes as they were also weavers and guarders of water, rain, clouds and fields. Three looks, #1 air, #2 rain, #3 sun, represent the surroundings and the birthplace of laumės child. The colours, cerulean blue, mist white and sunny yellow, were chosen according to primitive children drawings. Credits: Tutor – prof. UNIFORM
Workshop with designer Giedrius Paulauskas Product idea was to create a dress, that could be worn as uniform, either at work or theater, school or bar. Targeted towards customer, who care about comfort, longebility and effortless chic. Simple by its zero waste pattern, yet unique, made from high quality black 150s wool fabric.
THIEF!
Autumn-winter 2014-2015 prêt-à-porter collection Inspirational character is a thief - nervous, harsh, dark. Crime scenes and what attracts others to steal nowadays (ideas, job offers, wishes, time, money, jewelry, cars, handbags or lovers) formed a contemporary thief image and how it should dress. The knit pattern inspiration came from mixed jewel stones colors and as an opposition to it, completely opaque fabric, brought up the need to hide what is under and stay confidential. Using piles of coal as background for a story telling photo shoot reminds the audience of a thievery as a dirty and criminal job. The reflection of everyday problems – wanting what you do not have – are pointed with an ironic attitude.

MASSMODE
Autumn-winter 2013-2014 conceptual collection Collection source point is fashion obsession and a fanatic way of understanding individual style. The strong contrast between black and white colours gives the impression of everyday roughness and urgency. Inspired by mass production, this experimental clothing collection has the feeling of volume, ranging between deficiency and excess. In this way it reflects the absurdity of contemporary fashion and a women getting lost into a world of unique individualities.
