The project development started back in 2007. Primarily it was supposed to be an office building of the definite client. The construction began but was paused for a few years due to the economic crisis. Later on a concept was changed – an unfinished building had to be transformed into the hotel of the Ibis Styles network. The facades architectural solution remained the same – mirror dynamic surface of the biased floors simultaneously remaining in contrast with the surrounding historic buildings and underlining them through the reflection. The vertical grey space of the stares and elevator section adds statics to the building.

The main task while planning the project was to create a building harmonizing with the existing environment as from the point of view of volume, as of the facades architecture at the same time providing the clients requirements. Therefore, the object was planned positioned according to the existing buildings line with the preservation of existing scale of windows and balconies, whereas the upper floors are designed with the indent from the buildings line in order to visually decrease their size. The apartments planning solution is made with maximum comfort for the residents. Despite the building’s adjoining to the neighboring objects and a necessity of two blind walls projecting all the rooms and kitchens have the natural lighting and the apartments are provided with normal daylight. Besides during planning the particular attention was paid to the necessity of premises correct shape provision, especially the close-tosquare shape of the rooms, which is the most efficient during exploitation. The courtyard contains the recreation zone for residents and a playground, green area and other small decorative elements.

The idea of the object was in the aspiration of adding dynamics and contrast to the shaped environment of Sykhiv district in Lviv. To achieve this a non-standard shape of the building was selected with the similar plan with the oblique angles and the dynamic composition of windows and façade colors. As a result, the object does not have the floors monotony effect (typical to the neighborhood buildings) which serves as a qualitative solvent for the surrounding architecture. This is enhanced as well by the land plot position on the crossing of main district avenues. The apartments planning was traditionally made with maximum comfort and transformability. All the rooms are of close-to-square shape and provided with the natural daylight through reasonable windows which are not shaded by the surrounding buildings. The underground floors contain the reasonable two storey car park. As a result, the general quantity of parking places answers the residents demand. The parking area is significantly bigger than the on-ground part which allows to situate the auxiliary areas above the parking.

The project consists of a two-storey sports complex, with built-in public facilities, underground parking, eightstorey apartment building, and fourstorey educational institution. The project was developed as a continuation of the construction of a large residential complex and should be the final part. Several project options have been developed. Because from the very beginning of the development it was chosen to design a kindergarten, not a school.

The building is a fusion of reconstruction of the existing two storey historical building and a construction of the new six storey complex. This is a vivid example of the modern architecture connection to the historical environment. Among the materials for a new building decoration wood, glass and stone were used in order to add an organic and light image. The frame scheme of both new building and reconstructed one allows to easily connect different functions of the floors with the office buildings and apartments above them. The offices are designed to provide a maximum open transformable planning, whereas the apartments are traditionally designed with the close-to-square premises and optimal general use areas. The building will contain an underground parking. The utility areas are available for the residents within the object territory.

Project of a residential building with a separate covered parking lot. All rights to this project were transferred to another company, which continued to work on the project. The facility is completed and put into operation.

The complex is located in the suburbs of Lviv among the forest-park zone. The idea is to build small houses with a height of 3-5 floors, to create the most comfortable environment for a inhabitant. In addition, all indoor areas between buildings are free of parking and are completely pedestrianfriendly zone with children's and adults's playgrounds and sports grounds. There is a separate two-level ground parking in the northern part of the plot for storing the inhabitants' cars. There is also a set of infrastructure objects - a store, a cafe, a pharmacy, administrative part. The architecture of houses is minimalistic with dynamic elements in the form of a change in the location of windows and balconies on different floors. Planning of apartments is as transformable as possible due to the use of monolithic - frame construction.

The project was developed taking into account the need to ensure the possibility of dividing the building into construction queues so that the

construction of subsequent queues does not disrupt the functioning of the previously constructed part. Accordingly, the designed object is divided into three modules, which can be built separately and modified depending on market needs. The first module is a seven-storey office building with a built-in cafe and ancillary facilities. The second module is a six-storey office building with a built-in fitness center and ancillary facilities. This section is located in the depth of the site on the side of the existing residential buildings. The third module - a two-level garage, can be performed together with the first stage of construction, and with the second, or as a separate third stage. In this module it is offered to execute the underground closed garage, ground open type with a covering. The cover is proposed to be used as an additional recreational covered terrace for employees of the office building. The main facades of the building are proposed to be solved in a modern minimalist style using a modular system.

Competitive project

The main task of the project was the integration of modern buildings into the environment. The idea was to create new building (campus), as well as the construction of the assembly hall. The existing main building of the center was restored and the surrounding space was reorganized (additional sports grounds and recreation areas). The architecture of the facades is made in a minimalist style, with the use of natural facade materials (wood) for a better combination with the surrounding nature.

This project consists of three buildings of different functional purposes and will be located in the park area, next to the local university. The residential complex consists of three sections of six, seven and nine floors, with built-in public spaces. Office center six floors high, with builtin public facilities (cafe and dining room). An underground parking lot is designed under the residential complex and the office center. The third object is an educational institution for the senior age category, with a gym, assembly hall, dining room and library. On the territory of this project there is an existing parking lot for use by residents of the residential complex, as well as for employees of the office and educational institution.

The main idea of the project was to design a comfortable 8-storey residential building with built-in public spaces and roofs at different levels. The main task was to properly land the house in the area, with the installation of underground parking. Despite all the restrictions, we also managed to design a playground and recreation areas for the residents of this residential building within the courtyard.

The idea of the project is revitalization of industrial areas within the city of Lviv. The site, which once was a dairy factory, is now re-profiled to a residential quarter with infrastructure objects. Functionally, the complex is divided into three zones: the area of houses with smart-apartments, a residential area with ordinary apartments and a kindergarten area. In order to form a comfortable environment for the residents, it was decided to abandon traffic for cars and parking areas within the quarter. The entire inter-bay space is used for sidewalks, green areas, sports and recreation areas. The idea is to maximize the socialization of the inhabitants of the complex by creating an environment around the houses where people will be delighted to spend time. Underground car parks are provided for inhabitants of the quarter.

These projects were developed in different periods. The photo below shows the project of the office center, with built-in public spaces. This object is designed with certain restrictions from different sides (railway and gas station). Based on these restrictions, the idea was to develop an apartment with built-in public spaces and a three-story parking lot that separated the housing from the gas station.

This facility is located in a park area. The main task of the project was to create a premium-class housing, where residents of this complex could feel comfortable without leaving it. The project was divided into three separate complexes, each of which had its own interior space (recreation and playgrounds), which were closed to outsiders. The sections have built-in public spaces for various purposes (supermarket, cafe, beauty salon, fitness room, children's rooms, pet store). The underground car park is designed in such a way that the flow of people and cars does not intersect. And the exits from the parking lots were straight to the residential sections.
