FORD'S COLONY COUNTRY CLUB

Now part of the Invited family of clubs, Ford's Colony Country Club is run independently of the community. While many residents choose to enjoy the amenities on offer at the Club, membership is completely optional. FCCC is a semi-private club that features 54 holes spread across three Dan Maples designed courses. Set against the stunning backdrop of the community, each course - Blackheath, Blue Heron, and Marsh Hawk - presents unique challenges that will test even the most accomplished golfers. Dedicated member course, practice facility and driving range are available.

HISTORY OF FORD'S COLONY

Since its inception in the early 1980s, Ford's Colony has grown from a fledgling golf course community to become a highly sought-after destination for those seeking an active and vibrant lifestyle in a beautiful setting. From the earliest days of Ford's Colony, a volunteer spirit and a communal desire to create a welcoming haven have guided the growth of the development. Today, those founding principles remain and there are numerous opportunities for residents to get involved, including clubs and organizations focused on everything from gardening to volunteer work. Utilizing a two loop road system, featuring multiple gated entrances, Ford's Colony enables residents to easily access both the surrounding James City County community as well as internal Ford's Colony amenities.

With more than 60 special interest clubs and activities on offer, there is something for everyone! Many of these activities are enjoyed at the Swim & Tennis Club (pictured above).

Relax or revitalize in one of the 2 salt water swimming pools in the community. The S&T Club pool is a 25-meter swimming pool with a wading pool for young children

WESTBURY PARK

PLAYGROUNDS

Home to the Ford's Colony Killer Whales, the Westbury Park Facility features an 8-lane, 25-meter swimming pool with a zero-depth entry into the pool. A children's pool slide adds to the fun!

Playgrounds are available at both the S&T Club and the Westbury Park Facility.

PICKLEBALL

The community is home to 47 water retention ponds that house a vibrant population of bream, carp, and largemouth bass. These species are readily available for residents to engage in catch-and-release fishing.

There are 6 outdoor dedicated hard courts with permanent lines and nets located at the S&T Club. As a curtesy to surrounding neighbors, quiet paddles and balls are required when playing.

Two hard surface tennis courts located at the S&T Club and six soft surfaced tennis courts located at Westbury Park are available to residents and property owners.
