HYDRAULIC SECTION

The new high efficient generation of screw compressors and shell and tubes evaporators with dry expansion, increase the efficiency of our systems. Through the use of R134a, and a cooling circuit that includes an economizer, we can reach the right result whilst maintaining the cost vs efficiency debate. The use of electronic expansion valves and advanced control systems, allow us to guarantee the highest energy savings. In fact because of the PID control and regulation of superheat ensures the efficiency of the refrigeration circuit is maximised.

Speed control of the condenser fans by inverters, allow the minimal use of energy no matter what the external ambient. At Hitema we pride ourselves on the full and partial load efficiency ratings of our systems, maximising the highest ESEER or IPLV figures of our products. Our free cooling system is managed to maximize heat exchange and guarantees heat extraction no matter what the external environmental conditions or process load. Our use of modulating free cooling valves, combined with our variable speed fans allows us to reach the best solution in any climatic conditions, from -40ºC winter temperatures to summer temperatures in excess of 50ºC.

The economizer is a device designed to improve both cooling capacity and efficiency of the system, by providing an additional sub-cooling, achieved with the addition of an intermediate plate heat exchanger, expansion valve and the cross flow refrigerant circuits. Principle of operation The compression in a screw compressor takes place by means of high speed rotors drawing coolant into the rotor grooves of the opposing rotor teeth. They transport the volume, that is steadily reduced and so it is compressed, from suction pressure to condensing pressure. The pressure at the additional middle connection (economised port) is similar to the intermediate pressure with a two-stage system. As a result of these features, a screw compressor of this design can be combined with an additional sub-cooling circuit for “two stage of compression”. These measures result in increased refrigeration capacity due to additional sub-cooled liquid entering the evaporator. The power consumption of the compressor increases only slightly when compared to the additional cooling performance.

The economizer is a device designed to improve both cooling capacity and efficiency of the system, by providing an additional sub-cooling, achieved with the addition of an intermediate plate heat exchanger, expansion valve and the cross flow refrigerant circuits. Principle of operation The compression in a screw compressor takes place by means of high speed rotors drawing coolant into the rotor grooves of the opposing rotor teeth. They transport the volume, that is steadily reduced and so it is compressed, from suction pressure to condensing pressure. The pressure at the additional middle connection (economised port) is similar to the intermediate pressure with a two-stage system. As a result of these features, a screw compressor of this design can be combined with an additional sub-cooling circuit for “two stage of compression”. These measures result in increased refrigeration capacity due to additional sub-cooled liquid entering the evaporator. The power consumption of the compressor increases only slightly when compared to the additional cooling performance.

All the main functions of Hitema units are protected against irregular or potentially harmful operating conditions. The economizer is a device designed to improve both cooling capacity and efficiency of the system, by providing an additional sub-cooling, achieved with the addition of an intermediate plate heat exchanger, expansion valve and the cross flow refrigerant circuits. Principle of operation The compression in a screw compressor takes place by means of high speed rotors drawing coolant into the rotor grooves of the opposing rotor teeth. They transport the volume, that is steadily reduced and so it is compressed, from suction pressure to condensing pressure. The pressure at the additional middle connection (economised port) is similar to the intermediate pressure with a two-stage system. As a result of these features, a screw compressor of this design can be combined with an additional sub-cooling circuit for “two stage of compression”. These measures result in increased refrigeration capacity due to additional sub-cooled liquid entering the evaporator. The power consumption of the compressor increases only slightly when compared to the additional cooling performance.

Hitema’s microprocessor control systems perform real-time surveillance and prevention strategies. All the main functions of Hitema units are protected against irregular or potentially harmful operating conditions. This safeguard simplifies troubleshooting operations and minimizes maintenance times.

HYDRAULIC SECTION

The new high efficient generation of screw compressors and shell and tubes evaporators with dry expansion, increase the efficiency of our systems. Through the use of R134a, and a cooling circuit that includes an economizer, we can reach the right result whilst maintaining the cost vs efficiency debate. The use of electronic expansion valves and advanced control systems, allow us to guarantee the highest energy savings. In fact because of the PID control and regulation of superheat ensures the efficiency of the refrigeration circuit is maximised.
