Kate Holstein is a photographer based in Aspen, Colorado who frequently travels to destinations all over the world. With an organic & minimal style, she seeks to capture the natural beauty that’s found in fleeting moments while focusing on the often overlooked, simple things. Her attention to detail, unique perspective and uncanny ability to capture people at their most natural is what makes her work shine. Kate works with both film and digital cameras to create beautiful images. The following pages will give you details on suggested packages. Custom packages are also available.

A dditional Inf or mation 1. Do you travel for events and what is the extra cost to do so? Yes. For destination weddings I require airfare for two (my assistant and I), lodging, and transportation. The lodging and transportation costs are required only for the days connected to the event. 2. How do we book you for our event? Dates are booked on a first come, first serve basis. 50% of the total wedding commission along with a signed agreement is required to reserve your date. The remaining 50% balance is due one week prior to your event. 3. When will we receive the photos? You will receive your proof prints and USB with high resolution images within 4 weeks from you event date. 4. Do you carry liability insurance? Yes. 5. Do you bring back up equipment? Always. 6. What’s in your camera bag? I shoot a mix of digital and film cameras, most frequently the Contax 645 and Nikon D800. 7. What forms of payment do you accept? Check, cash, and credit card via paypal.
Meet Kate

Born in Boulder, Colorado. Raised by a father who never left the house without a camera and a mother who brought creativity into every aspect of life. Fell in love with the mountains at an early age. Spent seven years as a professional skier. Lived in Chamonix, New York City, and New Zealand. Studied photography at the Parson’s School of Design. Taught yoga in Bali. Rode elephants in Thailand. Discovered light in Paris. Fell in love in Brazil. Got married barefoot in Mexico. Currently hanging my hat in Aspen, doing what I love most: Telling stories of life’s beautiful and precious moments through photographs. -Kate’s work has been widely published in magazines, blogs, and books. She was recently named Martha Stewart’s Top Wedding Photographer on Instagram. She is also a regular contributer to Cereal Magazine. She shoots a variety of matterial including weddings, travel, and celebrity portraits. Her insatiable wonderlust has taken her all over the world, and it’s through the lens of her camera that she seeks to share the incredible beauty she sees everywhere.
