SOLUTION
Design a hybrid of an open office floor plan with strategically blocked sight lines to provide privacy for each department with a slight hierarchy of office space.

Design an upscale Italian restaurant for the professionals of Midtown Atlanta within the parameters of the existing footprint.
SOLUTION
Demonstrate the concept of glass art through fine details implemented throughout the space in ways such as the ceiling plane, rounded booth seating, and light fixtures. Celebrated components of glass art inspired the space that is not only a destination for a meal, but also a place that will create wonder, leaving the visitor with an enlightening experience.

Design an entry-level space for a 7-story medical office building with 6 specialty healthcare clinics.
SOLUTION
Incorporate the concept of refresh, renew, and rejuvenate through elements of a health food store and cafĂŠ to promote healthy eating to refresh the body, an exercise space to stimulate the renewal of the body, and a library and visual elements in the art gallery to rejuvenate the mind to promote the communityâ&#x20AC;&#x2122;s best state of being.

OPPORTUNITY
Design an Ophthalmology clinic around the concept of bringing the patient back to their best state of well-being.
SOLUTION
The curvilinear lines on the floor and ceiling of the layout provide way-finding techniques that add comfort and ease in guiding the patients through the clinic. The incorporation of natural materials and exterior views provides a calming and positive atmosphere for all users to enjoy. The radial symmetry of the floor plan creates a simplistic and efficient environment for employees and patients during their time in the clinic.

The reception desk and waiting room for the clinic was designed with natural materials, because as research shows, it provides a comfortable and relaxing environment. The wooden element will provide a sense of psychological comfort for those while waiting. The Optical retail space with a view of the atrium and the city of Nashville was located adjacent to the waiting area to provide positive distractions while users are waiting.
The Surgical waiting room and procedure room utilize elements such as cool colors, natural light, and natural materials to provide a positive distraction for the patients awaiting surgery.

While studying abroad in Igarai, a small rural community in Brazil, we were given the opportunity to use our design skills to make an impact on the local nursery.

As part of the Brazilian culture to have play areas of rooms within a home, we designed a living room, bedroom, and kitchen for the children The concept of my project, the living room play area, was â&#x20AC;&#x153;House of Numbers,â&#x20AC;? which provided different opportunities for the children to practice their counting skills. The goals of the project were to respond to the cultural nuance, add aesthetic value, and helps create an improved environment for these kids within this impoverished community. Challenges resulted from the budget constraint of the school, which called for a creative response to the materials provided to produce the play area for these children. GLINTstudios
