Terms & Conditions

Please review these terms and conditions for all lots selling in the Cyber Monday at the Farmstead Sale:

If you purchase any lot that is a single animal, live on sale day, regardless of her age or location, you are obligated to pay the full purchase price of the animal on sale day. All embryo lots will be sold as a “per embryo” price, and a guarantee of three embryos. Buyers can protect their investment by purchasing insurance. If Buyers do not acquire insurance immediately at the time of purchase, Buyer is self-insuring the animal and assumes all risk at that point. It is not the Sellers nor Sale Managers responsibility to insure cattle for the Buyer once the gavel has fallen whether purchased by the Buyer at the sale, through an agent or on the internet. All health testing and insurance details outlined in these terms and conditions shall apply. All animals selling are guaranteed to be in good health and condition at the time of the sale and will have been inspected by a licensed Veterinarian prior to the sale with the necessary tests guaranteed to be negative (TB, BVD-PI and Brucellosis (if age appropriate) along with a shipping fever vaccination). A certificate of veterinary inspection (CVI) will be provided if needed for shipping and for insurance purposes. After this certificate is provided, the Seller’s only responsibility after the sale is to provide adequate and proper housing and care for the animal until she is picked up by the Buyer or his agent and perform the necessary testing once notified. It is the Buyer’s responsibility to provide Seller with information needed for interstate health charts for delivery of the animal and transportation plans and instructions. Any export expenses outside the U.S. are the responsibility of the buyer. It is the sole responsibility of the Buyer to arrange for transportation of the purchased animal. We have provided a list of truckers who can assist in transportation in the front of this catalog and we also included phone numbers and emails of all consignors for your convenience. All animals in the sale may be inspected by prospective Buyers or their agents prior to the sale upon request to the seller.

Animals will be cared for until December 24. After that date, Buyer will be responsible for board fees of $8 per day until the animal leaves the Seller’s facility. Seller will prepare health charts for interstate travel for all animals in the sale immediately upon receiving instructions from the buyer. Seller will work to provide adequate care for the cattle that are sold to a new Buyer and will notify Buyer immediately in the event of illness or sudden death of an animal should occur. Any veterinarian care or autopsies performed will be at the Buyer’s Expense.

We invite your consideration of the cattle we currently have in our barns, along with offerings from our friends at CarpsView Genetics and Mill Bridge Farm. These animals will be competitive at all levels next year, plus we are offering some embryo lots for the future!
