‘CONNECTED’ PRE-FALL 2018 The PRE-FALL 2018 collection ‘Connected’ features sportswear clothing inspired by two main cities, Los Angeles and New York. The concept is based on making a difference and to bring change in the world around us. It is marketed by the promotion ‘Connected’ a relay race which takes place in each of the two key cities. The relay race is voluntary and involves fundraising, it aims to provide young people and local communities with positive sports and development opportunities, offering training facilities, transportation and more accessibilities, to build momentum around disability sports. The relay will begin in each city and the aim of the game is for members of a team to take spo turns completing parts of the racecourse. The rule is to travel without money or equipment to the destination and to ask people to help and in return giving them connected stickers. On route connected stickers must be left. “these stickers, your job, post them up, pound one on a door, slap one on a kiosk or on a post box, wherever your life may lead you.”……“and then what?”……. “nothing you forget about the sticker you move on and then one day you’re a little down and then suddenly there it is on the corner of a window…. and it puts a smile on your face because you know you’re not alone in the world we are all connected”- Chasing Liberty The day is a team spirit event that brings families together and experience a fun day out. There will be fun games for kids and food and drinks for celebration on completing the race. Adidas is marketing the collectionto help make the world a better, healthier place, we are one and we are all connected. The collection is designed for customers between the ages of 17 to 25 years old. The colour palette is turquoise, yellow, silver black and white. The key insight into the collection is to create clothing suitable and comfortable for people with a disability and to create awareness. The collection will feature leggings, comfo shorts, tops and jumpers for everyday sportswear, connecting the vibrant communities and cities. Adidas is an innovative, forward-facing brand that likes to bring new elements to the table. The prints for the collection are inspired by the graffiti and areas in each city. People have used sports to overcome their injuries and this Adidas collection will promote this. The muse is Brazilian model Paola Antonini, she is 23 years old and is an influencer to people around the world today. She inspires people on Instagram, after losing her leg in a car crash she has never given up on what she wants to do in life. The model shares photos of herself on Instagram of her life. She has gained more than 2 million followers on the app.

womenswear collection is based on the exploration of nature encountering the man-made. It focuses on how nature begins to erode plant life and buildings due to the maintenance of them. Merging natures decay abandoned/ unmaintained buildings inspires innovation for silhouette and textural ideas. Focusing on the beauty of man and natures creations, create an unexpected detail that becomes one of the most magnificent features creating unique and one off prints. The distress and texture left after the deconstruction inspires print and knit designs for the collection. re The collection reflects on the stradivarius style and customer values. The brand name Stradivarius has a shape treble clef in the letter S, a symbol that represents rhythm, dynamism and difference of the brand. The spirit of Stradivarius is feminine, fresh and creative. It is the dream and fantasy with the essences of glamour and style that every woman desires. It seeks to enchant its clientele through its design. The stores innovative concept offers its customers a complete buying experience. The millennial today are changing the future for fashion, introducing sustainability, quality and timeless fashion. The collection features recycled denim de-constructed into new creations and reworked denim introducing new styles with fabric manipulation of the denim. Distinct washes are created for the design to become more expressive, with the use of bleach and discharged prints, the denim becomes more distressed and decayed. The technique devorĂŠ will also feature in the collection creating expressive prints. The muse for the collection is Sultan Akkus, a 26 year old blogger from Amsterdam who is interested in fashion, styling and photography. Her style and lifestyle reflects the Stradivarius customer. o The colour palette consists of off-white, ocean blue, baby pink, cherry berry, and leaf green. The fabrics featuring in the collection are denim, velvet, cotton, silk and knits. The silhouette for the collection is oversized, featuring denim jackets, jeans, skirts, cardigans, jumpers and dresses.
