AXIS LUXURY HOTEL AND RESORT
AXIS LUXURY HOTEL AND RESORT Located in Antigua, Guatemala next to the famed ruins of the Recoleccion Cathedral, the resort is oriented to the views of the three surrounding volcanoes, Agua, Fuego, and Acatengango. The sloped green roof extends the boundaries of the resort towards the ruins and submerges the structure into the terrain to blend in with the surrounding landscape. The focus of the design is to be submissive to the sacred site as well as uphold the local traditions of Antiguan culture. Some of these vernacular design traits include, solid over void, transition between spaces, water (fountains) , and repetition.

TESLA FLAGSHIP DEALERSHIP DETROIT MICHIGAN
TESLA FLAGSHIP DEALERSHIP In the heart of antique Detroit neighboring the Michigan Central Station, the Tesla dealership marks the beginning of a new era for automobiles. The young prodigy company has already revolutionized electric transportation with its luxury sports cars. Why not do the same for Detroit? The main objective of the flagship dealership is to express the luxury and speed of Tesla automobiles in the built environment. With train tracks along the site, the design is a reflection of high speed rail and sports cars. The station and the dealership are a juxtaposition of the technologies of the past and those of the future.

CULINARY ARTS SAVANNAH COLLEGE OF ART AND DESIGN
SCAD CULINARY ARTS Located in Savannah Georgia, the SCAD Culinary Arts building shares similarities in material and form as the SCAD Museum of Art in an effort to develop a recognizable campus experience. Set back on all sides from the street, the design is a translation of the domestic qualities associated with the culinary arts. While the kitchen is often the central point of gathering within the home, the design is centered within the site. An additional pedestrian entry along the center emphasizes a sense of welcoming. The form is also influenced by the square within a square design that defines the urban landscape of Savannah.
HUTCHINSON ISLAND
NATURE CONSER V ANCY
HUTCHINSON ISLAND NATURE CONSERVANCY Located in Georgia, the conservancy stands within twenty nine acres of forested land along the Savannah river. The design is oriented to the prevailing winds and views of the water and downtown Savannah. The conservancy is a site specific design and acts as a transition between indoors and outdoors. The form staggers between the trees to provide alternate perspectives of the forest and to integrate the natural and built environment.
