There was once a teenage girl named Maya. whose parents had decided to go on a vacation. She was very lonely and didn’t seem to smile so much anymore. She was beginning to become distant, even from her closests friends. She was hurting deeply.

She wasn’t quite sure what to do, so she thought that the best way to get through her struggle was to lie to everyone and hide her true feelings, She didn’t like the fact that she had to lie to everyone, including the people of her church, who were like family to her.

As she continued to lie she started becoming more and more sad. Hoping that what she was lying about would just disappear. However once she started lying it got out of hand. To the point where she couldn't control the rumor any more.

Her parents had no clue what was going on, they assumed that she was fine while they were off on vacation. She had no one to turn to and everywhere she looked something was breaking, especially when she looked at herself.

Maya was lying to her friends and they could sense that something was wrong. Except she failed to reside in them. Pushing her closests friends further and further away. Now she really was alone.

Maya decided to call her dad and explain a portion of her situation to him. It was obvious to everyone except him that this was a desperate call for help. Instead of helping Maya he pushed her further, and even advised her not to tell her mother. For the point of not stressing her out. After a while she decided to confide in someone, His name was Blake, and although they weren’t the closest of friends. They both had one thing in common.

They were both lost in a world that was too big and complex to figure out on their own. Blake influenced Maya in a very bad way and convinced her to run away from home. Eventually she got caught and got in trouble with the police. She came home that day to see her parents were home.

Maya ran inside, giving her mom and dad the biggest hug she had ever given. She spilled all of her feelings to them that night. The next day Maya decided that it’d be best if she just came clean about what she had been feeling and doing to everyone. Not just her parents.

Once she came clean, things started to resolve themselves one by one. Her friends started talking to her again. Her parents were home and she no longer had to be all alone.

She and blake became very close friends, Blake confided all of his feelings in Maya and they both grew to be very close friends. Even if they weren’t before. She had a person who understood who she was and what she was feeling.

Maya started thinking, and she realized that if she wouldn’t have lied in the first place she wouldn’t have gone into that place that was as dark as the center of the earth.

Maya didn’t feel lost anymore, she was free. She was not only feeling loved now by everyone who had loved her since the beginning. But now she had love for someone, she was making her way in the world on her own now.

Maya and Blake went off to college and fell in love. Coming home every so often to visit family and friends, that they once didn’t know they even had. They were once lost, but now found.

Overall lying doesn’t do any good. It just creates problems, they may not be imideate problems but they are sure to appear. You should always be happy and not lie to friends and especially family. Even if someone tells you to. Express your feelings to family to avoid this.
