When chaos takes over your life and there’s no value in the situation you’re in any longer, entropy rears its head. Entropy, the second law of thermodynamics, happens when “all energy flows inexorably from the orderly to the disorderly and from the usable to the unusable.” It’s a law of nature that transcends into the human condition and is a stabilizer of the natural order. If your “I Am” isn’t whole, all around you crumbles so a new order may blossom and evolve from the decay. “I Am” is said to be the two most powerful words in the world. Most interpret these words as being God, while others view them as representing your wisdom or illumination. Naturally, the “I Am” is a place of contentment, whereby the universal laws of nature celebrate your being and natural justice is balanced between the vis viva (living force) of the yin and yang powers. It’s where a golden, white light of enlightenment dwells and shines its wonders onto the universe. It’s the good in you. It’s your authentic self and root of the Golden Ratio; for without a strong one, there will never be a two and the divine proportion of nature simply cannot be reached. The Golden Way’s intent is to expand your heart by taking cues from our cultural landscape. As naming conventions go, “gold” reflects the top standards we should all strive to reach. Because gold is the most noble of the noble metals and the most precious of the precious metals, it rests atop the pyramid of other alloys and has become the single-most recognized symbolic color in acknowledging human accomplishments. From the Oscar, Academy, Emmy and Golden Globe awards to Nobel Peace prizes, Olympic gold medals and athletic trophies the world over, gold

is a symbol of total devotion and completeness to one’s self and one’s endeavors. It is the “I Am” on the color wheel, albeit not the cyan, magenta, yellow and black (CMYK) wheel, but the fifth wheel of metallics’ glistening orders. It’s the “golden boy or girl” of the “golden hearts” clubs. By following the ideological symbolism of The Golden Way, I am convinced life can be sorted out and put back in a state of thriving excellence. The etymological, Latin meaning of gold is “shining dawn,” which is so perfectly aligned with the precept of this book for as entropy besets our lives, new beginnings are put on the horizon, and we are now armed with life-lessons learned making us all the wiser and prepared to enjoy those golden moments we seek. The symbolic linguistic usage of gold is also to draw us back into nature so we can learn from a most caring mother; one who demands us to be ever-growing and welladjusted. In her arms, you’ll find the answers you need to attain your best self. You’ll learn how to empower yourself, while contributing to the bigger whole. You’ll learn you are but a molecule, but your presence is massively important. You’ll learn that life should be fluid. You’ll discover that fixity is fatal and death is a form of life that will be met sooner than later unless you learn to adapt, adjust and be more mindful. You’ll come to know that to be the “animals” you are suppose be, you need to be in rhythm with the brilliance of the natural world. “We need to learn to absorb and dissipate; attract and repel and to take in and give out,” as philosopher Elbert Hubbard wrote. As creatures of wild kingdoms, Mother Nature teaches you that you must ebb and flow with the conditions you face, while keeping your “agency.” She shows you how to undulate with the good and bad, while providing you with the wisdom that there’s a reason for opposing forces. C.S. Lewis came up with The Law of Undulation, which is most fitting here. “The Law of Undulation is explained as the peaks and troughs humanity experiences in every area of our lives, such as our work, friends and, most importantly, our relationship with God. Peak times are characterized by feelings of richness and liveliness, where everything is new and exciting. Troughs are full of numbness and poverty. Humans are by nature unstable and, this roller coaster of feelings is the “nearest approach to constancy” that we will ever have. Specifically, Lewis talks about the difference between our initial Christian experience versus our ongoing spiritual lives. Uncle Screwtape states that God initially sets us “off with communications of His presence which, though faint, seem great

to them, with emotional sweetness, and easy conquest over temptation.” Later, however, our spiritual life changes as we begin to experience difficulties. Screwtape says that God “withdraws, if not in fact, at least from their conscious experience, all those supports and incentives. He leaves the creature to stand up on its own legs—to carry out from the will alone duties which have lost all relish,” Ubfriends. org. Lewis intuitively stated that one must stand on one’s own legs suggesting that even God wants you, the ONE, to be your best and have your own resolve. In doing so, life will inflect and deflect at more positive frequencies putting you in alignment with the Golden Ratio. In this ratio, the magical powers of the universe seemingly lie and in garnering an understanding of this ratio alone, you likely will question why scientists and theologians have ever been in opposition as the charismatic authorities are found in the spirit of most every religious teaching as well as in the divine sequences of nature. Mathematically speaking, Wikipedia described it as, “Two quantities are in the Golden Ratio; if their ratio is the same as the ratio of their sum to the larger of the two quantities. Ø or 1.6180339887. It is the Greek letter phi and also is called the Golden Mean or Golden Section. Other names include extreme and mean ratio, medial section, Divine Proportion, Divine Section, Golden Proportion, Golden Cut, and Golden Number. 1, 1, 2, 3, 5, 8, 13, 21, 34, 55, 89, 144, 233, 377, 610, 987, In essence, per the Fibonacci Sequence, the ratio depicts the adding of the number preceding it.... 1+1=3, 2+3=5, 3+5=8 and so on. The square root of 5 is the positive real number that, when multiplied by itself, gives the prime number of 5. It is an irrational algebraic number.” By the longest stretch of one’s imagination, I am not a math person. The only math I deal with is running Quickbooks for my small business. I quite love doing the numbers as, in the end, there’s a truth in it; a reconciliation and balance. I believe most of us have a natural allegiance to math and hold it as a fidelity of truth as it undulates with symmetry and is the equilibrium of giving and receiving. Since great minds of centuries past and present call the mathematics equation of the Golden Ratio “divine,” I was drawn to its magical presence in the universe in regard to everything that is deemed beautiful and life-giving. It bridges the physical world with the spiritual universe. From the science of the Golden Ratio, you find love, light and truth. “Adolf

Zeising found the Golden Ratio expressed in the arrangement of branches along the stems of plants and of veins in leaves. He extended his research to the skeletons of animals and the branching of their veins and nerves, to the proportions of chemical compounds and the geometry of crystals, even to the use of proportion in artistic endeavors. In these phenomena, he saw the Golden Ratio operating as a Universal Law,” stated Wikipedia. Universal Law encompasses the laws of spirituality and nature, which governs all things in the universe. To further clarify this from The Definition of Natural Law, “Universal Law, is non-manmade, binding and immutable conditions that govern the consequences of behavior. Natural Law is a body of Universal Spiritual Law which act as the governing dynamics of consciousness.” Even Professor Albert Einstein believed God was in science as he said, “I want to know how God created the world. I am not interested in this or that phenomenon, in the spectrum of this or that element. I want to know his thoughts, the rest are details.” From the time I was born until my early 20s, I was a severe epileptic. I had seizures at a regular cadence and many grand mal seizures. The doctors back then would keep me in an air bubble, soak me in frigid cold baths and feed me a barbiturate named phenobarbital. For those who do not know what epilepsy is, it’s basically abnormal electrical activity throughout the brain whereby the neurons in the cerebral hemispheres of the brain misfire and create an electrical brainstorm” causing, in my case, entire body seizures and a loss of consciousness. “The seizures prevent the brain from interpreting and processing incoming sensory signals” and you lose total control everything. The drug given me was an anticonvulsant drug that stabilized the neuronal membranes and inhibit the neurons from functioning so quickly. After nearly a year of taking this drug, I told my mom I just cannot take it anymore as I felt like I was missing out on life. I felt zombie-like. So, I started eating a very high-fat diet in which the fat lines the brain’s neurons, presumingly inhibiting their activity. When I felt the onset of a seizure, I merely asked my mom to hold my hand and talk to me, tell me she loved me. To this day, I believe I overcame my epileptic seizures because of love and mind focus. Many doctors say you can grow out of the condition, but I still have reminiscence of the chemical imbalance as I can “wig out” if I overload on carbs/ sugars or experience high level deceptions. If you can grow out of it, I was still able to lessen the seizures severity by having my mother’s enduring love-energy fused

with my intense frequencies. Nevertheless, before I’d “blackout and float into space with all the stars and galaxies,” I’d gradually fade into an altered state with the lightness of my soul in my mind’s eye and God telling me I’d be OK, “You need to be here.” I also remember Him saying, “Look and listen to the world.” I wasn’t ever afraid of going into unconsciousness as I’d experience an effervescent golden beam—God or my God-force—that comforted me, and thoughtfully disconnected me from the intense physical pain that beset my calves every time. Both calves would restrict as though my muscles squeezed every ounce of blood from them, making them as hard as granite. It was similar to experiencing intense charley horses, but the spasms wouldn’t end; the constrictions just persisted. When I’d come back to the physical plain, I’d be in a euphoric state of nothingness. I would also feel enormously embarrassed as I knew it was not normal. Yet joyfully I’d pronounce to myself, how many people get to have God speak directly to them? He didn’t say much at all, but his words had a profound affect on me as a young girl. They did, if you will, open my third eye of perception. I don’t take people as they just “are” or circumstances at face value as there’s normally more to a story; there is usually another dimension in which to view things. David Icke said, “Condemnation without investigation is real ignorance.” With that, I’ll admit the only prejudice I’ve had in my life is that of “ignorant people.” An intelligent person doesn’t have to have spent one day in school, while an ignorant soul might well have a Ph.D. or two behind their name. My definition of ignorance is narrow-mindedness, unenlightened by the beauty of the world and one who acts discourteous, rude or unkind to others for their ego-driven reasons. I have never considered my epilepsy a hinderance, but rather an interruption of sorts that opened by world view to the mind, body and spirit connection. When my brain and body exploded, my spirit quietly assumed its dominion and let me rise above the chaos into a metaphysical place of caring quietude. I was not of my mind or my body, by somehow I was with my true self. Today this disease is still an enigma to scientists. The complexity of the brain is so fantastic, it’s (pun intended) mind-boggling. There are said to be 100 billion neurons in the brain and all the particles in the brain exceed that of our universe....Simply unfathomable. The benefit of having gone through this disease is it delineated the incredible connectedness of mind, body, spirit and foretold me too, that they are and need to be considered separate entities as well. Yes, our bodies are our physical temples; our minds are our cognitive computer processors where the perception of our world is stored along with memories; it is the place of our ego and where action is initiated,

but if we can tune into the invisible world of our consciousness and develop all that is beautiful and loving there, fear, insecurity and self-doubt melt away. Your innermost spirit radiates an aura that is uniquely yours. It’s your fingerprint and solely yours to explore and discover. It is a force that is as great as God and as profound as all things on earth. You and your aura-spirit can do anything. To coin a phrase from a sport I hold dear, tennis, “Find it, feel it and following through.” In discovering your spirit world, you’ll come to know the most significant and powerful emanations are invisible. Isn’t that magical? It’s oxymoronic and resonates of genius. Interestingly The Golden Way is not the least bit original, for most all of the information has be out there in the oceans’ data, in the air waves and most certainly in all the major religions and traditions on earth. Tidbits of it are gleaned from the 22 self-help books I’ve read over the last few years and on that infinitely knowledgable search engine named Google. I’ve watched dozens of YouTube videos on consciousness, the mysteries of the brain, Taoism, Buddhism, the Golden Ratio, Einstein, quantum physics, water studies, DNA, TedTalks, Dr. Phil, Oprah, Dr. Dyer, psychology, narcissism, evil, elephants, dolphins and supernovas.....all to find a new meaning and direction in life as my soul was plucked from me and I have started over, but intend on being even better than before. So, where does one start when you’re out of the jungle and want to shoot for the stars again, but desire to do so with a higher purpose and more wisdom? The body, mind and spirit as they are the golden triad you and me live with and are the owners of daily. These three translate into the universally “accepted” and followed dictims of the Golden Ratio, gold medal thinking and the Golden Rule. They are, however, presented in the inverse order in The Golden Way as it is more natural to start with the one thing that effects everything. Most interestingly, “gold” really isn’t of this earth, it comes from the heavens above and is created by the most powerful force in the universe, an exploding star known as the supernova. Forged in the heart of an exploding star, element 79 is truly a gift from above and ever so aptly represents a shining new dawn.

The Golden Rule The Ethic of Reciprocity & Being Human Sunshine

The Golden Rule is The Golden Way’s spiritual path. Most all the world’s major religions follow the essence of the Golden Rule, though each is written a bit differently: Islam, Not one of you truly believes until you wish for others what you wish for yourself; Taoism, Regard your neighbor’s gain as your own gain, and your neighbor’s loss as your own loss; Confucianism, One word which sums up the basis of all good conduct....loving kindness. Do not do to others what you do not want done to yourself; Janism, One should treat all creatures in the world as one would like to be treated. The sayings go on and on and each resonates of “Loving your neighbors as you love yourself.” The Golden Rule is ever so beautiful in its simplicity. For if you are nice to another, then that other person is stimulated to pass on that goodness, then that other person plus another and another spread good tidings and chambers of good energy rapidly rises to the point of filling your sphere or world-view, if you will, with positively charged interactions. From you, as the central point of love, emanates a quickly revolving universe that spirals around you with the protective coils of a society that undulate with what you emit, tagged with what they emit. It’s contagious. Their “ohms” vibrate yours as a mantra of reflective energy. In Hinduism, the “Ohm” is the name of God, which was manifested from nothingness as a Supreme Power of being. “Feed the hungry, clothe the

naked, forgive the guilty, welcome the unwanted, care for the ill, love your enemies,” stated Jesus. Obviously, “Good intent and good deed contribute to good karma and future happiness, while bad intent and bad deed contribute to bad karma and future suffering,” Wikipedia’s definition of karma. From the nano-world of virtual nothingness springs the life form of YOU. And you, whether you believe in God or not, have a soul that is so magical and lucky to have wondered into consciousness. You should be grateful to be of this world as the world is “just a sea of happiness...life itself is a song to be in tuned in with the eternal symphony in time. You need to be glad. Be glad and you’ll always glad. Great is the power of sunshine, especially human sunshine. It has the power to change anything. Be glad and your world will begin to change. All things will start coming to you in greater measure,” said YourAreCreators. A TedTalk speaker, Mel Robbins, stated, “The odds of each of us being born is 14 trillion to one.” Imagine how very brilliant that is. Just imagine the wonders of a sperm fertilizing an egg, then forming a zygote, then replicating into 32 cells and ever-increasing until your body, mind and spirit are released into the world. You are a miracle of nature, whose body parts are divinely constructed from the Golden Ratio. Our “bodies are based on patterns of five, which is the basis for phi as well. We have five appendages to the torso, in the arms, legs and head; we have five appendages on each of these; we have five opening on our faces; and we have five organs for sight, sound, touch, taste and smell. Further, the Divine Proportion is found in our bodies. The distance from our heads to the pectorals and inside top of our arms, the width of the shoulders and the length of the forearm and shin bone.” As much as you are a giant, you are minuscule, too. You are but one of seven billion+ souls on the planet; yet you have the power to influence the entire world. No matter which way you look at it, you are magical. You are one with the world and with wilderness; you are bright and beautiful, if you act in accordance with the Golden Rule. You are one individually, and part of a bigger whole. You belong and are very important. Knowing this, should invite you to seek helpful advice from experts, whenever you so feel the need. As a vital member of a great species, we as a whole have become quite specialized in countless realms of living. Basically, most every profession is designated to help each other thrive in more vivacious manners. Think about the beauty of that—whether one works in government, education, transportation,

science, graphic arts, languages, psychology, building, whatever—each discipline is up and running for our greater good. They are formed for our betterment, survival, safety, advancement, et al. Life is beautifully rich and fulfilling if your attitude looks at society as a body of goodness. Albeit, a bit idealistic, it is true. Thomas Jefferson’s crafting of the Declaration of Independence was and is critically important as it empowers you by bestowing you with rights and liberties, which upholds the essence of the Golden Rule. “We hold these truths to be self-evident; that all men are created equal; that they are endowed by their Creator with certain inalienable rights; that among these are life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness; that to secure these rights, governments are instituted among men, deriving their just powers from the consent of the governed.” By vesting the power in the people, citizens innately practice goodwill and seek to expand their knowledge, education and work ethic, so democracy would continue to flourish. The concept of the American Dream was realized, too. How great a country is that encourages free will and the possibility of creating true wealth and prosperity. As the Bill of Rights ensures your power to make choices, make sure the choices you make vibrate in harmony with others and are in unison with the gifts bestowed upon you. Tap into your creative side, and you’ll feel a profusion of happiness as the neurons in your brain will vibrate copiousness and good energy. People will want to be with you and your practice of the Ethic of Reciprocity will come back to you with a bounty of invisible delights. Along with our great constitution being framed about the Golden Rule, so too is this ethic found in great works of the past. The Three Musketeer’s motto, “All for one, and one for all,” should make you feel connected as it’s modeled everywhere in your world, if you look for it. There are countless Aesop Fables and Golden Rule stories like The Old Man and His Grandson, The Two Monkeys, the Gift of the Magi, The Karate Kid, The Shopkeeper and the Robber, and John Newton’s hymn Amazing Grace. “Amazing grace, how sweet the sound, that saved a wretch like me... our song denotes that a “wretch” is a wretch because he treated another, not as another should be treated. Seemingly, most every aspect of our personal and business lives are effected and affected by individual choices. Our powers are ever so good as they are ever so evil as satired by the great minds of William Shakespeare, Oscar Wilde, Earnest Hemingway, Pearl S. Buck and most all writers who have produced “classics.” For all intents

and purposes, writers and those whose thought processes stem from the creative or right side of their brains explore the “gray” areas of life whereby they acknowledge and explore human conditions that are influenced by the yins and the yangs of life. The Importance of Being Earnest by Oscar Wilde, ridicules cultural norms and reveals that things may not always appear as they are. Superficial masks prevail and are unveiled. Institutions are questioned. While the Bard of Avon showcased the ironies, tragedies and peculiar nature(s) of humankind, Hemingway explored the lost meaning of life when injustices and immorality are experienced overly much. Abject poverty, religious fundamentalism, prejudice and repression are themes Pearl S. Buck wrote about and made many a reader question the outrageous treatment of fellow humans. Entertainers, talk show hosts, news magazines and screenplay writers make the world a more just place simply by “putting it out there.” As, it is my belief, the will of the people, once exposed to things that aren’t right or balanced, will quietly galvanize independently and in groups to make the world a better place. Oprah Winfrey is a prime example of this as she’s oft said, “To whom much is given, much will be required,” and she epitomizes all of the above, and then some. Many kudos are given to this woman of wisdom as her cosmic energy has touched more souls than can be imagined and her giving heart has made her a living legend. She is the contrary force of evil, and is an action taker. She is in the right spirit world as she embraces all things merely by acknowledging the good and the bad, and then takes regal steps to counter the latter. The creatives seem to be drawn to the inter connective realm of the opposing or contrary forces, as that’s where metaphysics and the distinctions of the dualities can be sectioned out and reviewed. It’s where truth is found, and the essences of one’s soul or one’s country’s soul may be discovered. Writers, artists, film makers, musicians and “readers” are, in my opinion the “gluers and doers” who shed light on our planet’s inequities. To the Nazis, these “types” where put to death as they could think on their own and spur on others to question the harsh realities of tyranny, repression and exploitation. Presently, who are the first people to be put to death by such forces like Isis? Generally, journalists or those who are empowered to present views that may not be in alignment with the powers. Media. Media is good but can be bad if implemented irresponsibility and subjectively. The Golden Rule is about taking responsibility for your actions, inactions and choices. It is the “I Am” and what you attach to it. It encourages you to be a leader, not a passenger. Like most everything in our galaxy, there are opposing forces. So, though The Golden Way isn’t intended to be a religious exposé, it needs to confer about the opposing forces of the spirit realm, starting with religious disciplines and then touch points on the “evil” psyche, which has no boundaries and therefore no guideposts.

Christians, Muslims, Buddhists and Hindus are the four most followed religions in the world. Each believes in the Golden Rule and each have precepts to follow. They mostly all are similar. Below is a composite of their precepts, which all follow paths of goodness, light and truthfulness. CHRISTIAN PRECEPTS (10 Commandments) 1. I am the LORD thy God. Thou shalt have no other gods 2. No graven images or likenesses 3. Not take the LORD’s name in vain 4. Remember the sabbath day 5. Honour thy father and thy mother 6. Thou shalt not kill 7. Thou shalt not commit adultery 8. Thou shalt not steal 9. Thou shalt not bear false witness 10. Thou shalt not covet MUSLIM PRECEPTS (Code of Behavior) 1. Truthfulness 2. Sincerity 3. Unselfishness 4. Humility 5. Patience 6. Be a stranger to deceit Admit your failings and do not slander, gossip or backstab. 3. Uphold virtue by nonstealing, coveting or failing to repay debt. 4. Practice divine conduct by controlling lust 5. Exercise patience, don’t argue, dominate conversations or interrupt others 6. Foster steadfastness. Avoid sloth, develop willpower, courage and industriousness 7. Practice compassion, conquering callous, cruel and insensitive feelings. Forgive those who apologize and show true remorse. Foster sympathy for others.

8. Maintain honesty, renouncing deception and wrong doing. Face and accept your faults without blaming others. Do an honest day’s work and do not cheat, deceive or circumvent to achieve an end. 9. Maintain a moderate appetite 10. Uphold the ethic of purity, avoiding impurity in mind, body and speech

Surely for all religions to provide precepts and guideposts to live by, they are providing, in essence, paths to live enriched lives with compassion, love and freedoms that fall in the realm of goodness. Within the Ten Commandments, Buddhist Precepts, Code of Conduct and Code of Behaviors are the essential characteristics of the Golden Rule—to do unto yourself as you’d do unto others. This rule seems to be the heartbeat of all doctrines of faith and has helped us not only expand our humanity, but allowed mankind to achieve a higher consciousness. It is a rule by which most good and earthly people subjugate themselves and is the general rule of thumb that keeps our prisons less filled. It is a “rule” that transcends even religions, and allows those who may not believe in religious foundations (pantheists) still practice niceties and follow what is innate in most of us. It is a rule of nature as well as a Law of the Nations. “A just government and its duty to the citizen includes a reciprocal obligation of the citizen to render military service in case of need, and the right to compel it,” stated Vattel, Law of Nations. Nations that don’t serve one dictator’s creed or one evil mongering coup’s greed and need for power, but rather those governments that acknowledge the rights and liberties of its individuals as long as it serves the better good of the society as a whole. By providing laws and tenets to live by, governments, religions, businesses and families, for the most part, set boundaries by which to garner fruitful lives of social solidarity and unity. In considering the laws and orders of various societies, the most empowering and grand thing American citizens have is freedom. “Freedom is the oxygen of the soul,” said Moshe Dryan. You have the freedom to follow such guideposts as the Golden Rule, the law or religious precepts. The freedom of choice is yours, and if your choices are nefarious in nature, consequences will likely be met; just as consequences for your good choices will likely be experienced. Voltaire said, “I disapprove of what you say, but will defend to the death your right to say it,” so too does your right to live a vacuous life or one by which healthy self-love, the love and respect of others and connectivity prevails. Paradoxically, Voltaire—a Frenchman of the late 1600s, was a writer and philosopher—regularly attacked the Catholic Church’s freedom of expression and oppression. He, in all his

wisdom, could like Shakespeare, Dickens, Twain and Austin, read the barometer of human existence—“If you love something, set it free; If they come back, they’re yours; if they don’t they never were,” said Richard Bach. The spirit of a living, breathing soul isn’t innately zombie-like. Most human beings listen to their inner strengths, like to be heard and valued. If not validated by societies (family, church or state) by which they are part of, conflict arises. Great thinkers know the evil pluck upon the souls of the weak and take advantage of their vessels. They take control over them, and strip them of their powers. This is not to say the aforementioned church was/is evil at all, for I am a Catholic, there was a time churches imposed their powers over others and killed in the name of God....this didn’t resonate with the erudites and so they voiced their opinions. It is to say, however, that the greatest source of success for any establishment or person will ultimately come from the free-will of the person/people, they are affiliated with. It is also important to note the importance of those who shed light on the injustices of the world; for the human species has the unfathomable and indomitable spirit of adaptation and creating kinder, more gentle environments. Humans have continuously evolved and corrected our ways. It’s in our DNA to adapt. Although we have a long, long way to go, the human consciousness is generally about taking care of our survival, the survival of loved ones and warding off evil doers. Prime examples of this are the total wars—World War I and World War II. Once the opposing forces heavily imposed their power and control over the nations of the free, mobilization of the most massive sorts began. “Hercules” justifiably went on the warpath and with him the Fibonacci Sequence, figuratively speaking, unfolded and spiraled about with an energy force of a 1,000 massive hurricanes—the will of the people was ignited. The home of the brave and their Allies were not going to give up their long-earned rights and lands. They were not going to give up the Golden Rule and live under a Kaiser who killed the masses because of their religions, races or higher intellects. The entire U.S. population rolled up their sleeves and became a war machine of war machines. With an unequivocal and defiant mindset, freedom and the inequities of others were defended. The citizens’ beliefs (patriotism) were so strong, there was hardly a question who the victors would be once the USA committed. They did not want the balance of power to change and they did not want evil to prevail. So, with an “eye of the tiger” power, the most ruthless force mankind had experienced to date, the Nazi Regime, was neutralized.

You must rise up, if the dark threatens to take over the light. You must help the weak and helpless, yet be very shrewd and employ circumspection in all cases, for you don’t want to do unto them what they are doing upon you. Also, shouldn’t you love your enemies, too? The bottomline is, you need to put yourself in another’s shoes to gain insight into their actions. If unacceptable, put your oxygen mask on first, then help those who need your help. Years after World War II, historians concluded that the German populous followed the “evil” as the people were vastly vulnerable and on the brink of death due to the aftermath of World War I. The charisma of Hitler took hold because they needed direction and hope. The conditions were ripe for Hitler to manipulate and persuade the entire country. He himself said, “I have not an equal in swaying the masses.” Quite obviously, Hitler did not follow any ethic or genocide in the millions wouldn’t have occurred. He cared not for others, only of his vision of the New World order mattered. Yet, you cannot be a follower if horrendous things could happen. It does take a lot of courage to step out of the box of social norm thinking, but complacency is not following the Golden Rule. In summary, the Golden Rule is the single-most profound spiritual ethic on earth. It is intricate in most every religion and tradition in the world. Whether you believe in the Holy Bible, Torah, Quran, Bhagavad Gita, Tao Te Ching or The Book of Mormon, or you are a natural lover who finds reverence in Mother Earth, the Golden Rule works. It’s a formula of benevolence and consideration. It’s simple, kind and allknowing. Its reciprocity is moral and rational. It doesn’t exclude anyone and, in fact, teaches respect and honor for yourself and others. It’s empowering. The invariable nature of the Golden Rule flows ceaselessly with the Law of Nature and the Universal Laws of Nature. It is the guiding principle of The Golden Way.

The United States of America has long been said to be the greatest country that has ever come into existence. Still, by the millions, immigrants pour into our great land for we, generally, have respect for others’ autonomy—freedom of religion, freedom of speech, the right to bear arms, et al. In quoting the Statue of Liberty’s poem, “Give me your tired, your poor, your huddled masses yearning to breathe free, the wretched refuses of your teeming shore. Send these, the homeless, tempest-tossed to me, I lift my lamp beside the golden door!” The Mother of Exiles, Miss Liberty, welcomes all, particularly those who are at risk of religious, ethnic and political persecution. She is the embodiment of a kindly soul who believes in individual liberties and respects free will. The la liberté éclairant le monde, or Liberty Enlightening the World, was given to the USA by the French after the end of the Civil War. This iconic symbol was modeled after the Roman goddess, Libertas, and has a broken chain lying at its feet representing not only the end of slavery, but of repressiveness. Let freedom ring....as long as they are within the confines of societal norms. “Our

robed statue” clutches the tabula ansate —where America’s Declaration of Independence is inscribed—as the law of the land. As an icon, her power lies in protecting the people’s powers, their free will and their rights to live as they so choose to live. In essence, “she” respects her people’s values as long as they don’t impede on the rights and liberties of others. This is the essence of the Golden Rule. Idealistically, America is an extraordinary country, but like any entity in the universe that is made up of a conglomeration of different sorts, there are bound to be problems. In fact, humankind and the entire natural world is bound to have problems as without the forces of evil, we could not recognize the forces of good. Without going through pain and suffering, we merely “flat-line” like a person whose breathe is about to blow into the particles of time gone by. So, even within a good framework, there seemingly needs to exist some degree of “badness,” which is fundamentally ignorance. Within, something as great as, let’s say Manifest Destiny (Westward USA expansionism), there were elements of bad as citizens then took lands from Native Americans, exploited animals, enslaved foreign persons to build railroads, mines and perform domestic duties under enslavement, though outlawed. Intrinsically and rather ironically, you would think we as a human race would not keep repeating our misdoings. We are a three steps forward, two backwards type of animal. Seemingly, we have to undulate the “bad” out in increments, just as we have to learn to replace ignorant Old World views with elements of our ever-growing wisdom and intellect. Under the Kaiser, the Germans upset Europe’s balance of power; this was just what the French had done under Napoleon; and the Wars of the Roses had done in the Battle of Twekesbury; and what the Mongols had done under Genghis Khan. Fact is, since the beginning of recorded history, humankind has been at war with each other, in some way or another. There will always be two opposing forces, a good and an evil, a yin and a yang. Depending on your perspective, what is wrong to one side, might well be right and justified for the other side. This is not to say war is good, yet it must exist for a reason. Perhaps it exists to make us a better, non-complacent species. Perhaps the predator needs not to be looked like the wolf, one of the most demonic symbols in literature. Perhaps the “wolf ” or evil among us need to be viewed and acknowledged as aggressors who help preserve nature’s balance. They, metaphorically, are present to make us stronger. They keep us striving to do better and are great equalizers to help us progress. Perhaps “evil” should not be feared as much as looked at as a mode to hone our defense skills. Just like wolves in real life preserve nature’s balance by attacking the weak, sick and deprived, perhaps the

ignorant or wrong doers should be scrutinized and perceived as gizmos to enhance our stances on love, goodwill and the Ethic of Reciprocity. Objectifying them, isn’t what the Law of Reciprocity suggests by any means. In fact, it is the diametrically opposite. So love, and love them some more, but if the “terrorists,” don’t choose to abide by your goodwill and you and your family are threatened, learn to recognize the nefarious and be prepared to defend yourself. For arming yourself with the following knowledge is empowering and may save you from years of pain. Why do we need to have such precepts as the Golden Rule and laws to live by? The answer, of course, is to set boundaries against the opposing and oppressive natures of those who lie, cheat and con. Anarchy is unsettling but predators pounce on the weak and obtain their “goods,” which may be financial, positions, property, clients, children. Mostly they do so for power, control and egotistical glory. We, of course, know in the name of religion, the forces of evil oft “reposition” their interpretations of the “word.” We know often that the mask of sanity is worn by the wicked and the psychotherapy world has much literature on the fact, they are often wolves who don the innocent sheeps’ clothing. They are “false prophets, who come to you in sheep’s clothing, but inwardly are ravenous wolves,” said A Tree and its Fruit. Dr. Phil refers to them as imposters, while Matthew Hornsey of The Psychology of Pretending To Be Someone You’re Not, calls them conspirators who make a mockery of group or person they are pretending to be. They are contaminates and parasites. Imposters live in great shame, self-doubt and their continued tricking leads to an even lower morale. “They bull doze through the collective faith of society” and don’t know their authentic selves. Life’s a drama, an acting job. All is false and a lie. In Dante’s Inferno, the nine circles of hell­­are limbo, lust, gluttony, greed, anger, heresy (irreverence), violence, fraud and treachery (betrayal). The Bible, on the other hand, says the capital vices of wrath, greed, sloth, pride, lust, envy and gluttony, which, of course, are aligned closely with Dante’s hell and damnation Divine Comedy. All should be recognized, but rejected. As one accepts these cardinal sins, one goes further and further into hell as the circles of hell are concentric, which means a gradual increase into depravity with treachery and betrayal being the bottom worse rung. It’s the depth of all evilness. Scott Peck, M.D. psychiatrist and bestselling author of A Road Less Travelled and People of the Lie wrote, “Evil is a malignant type of self-righteousness in which there

is an active rather than passive refusal to tolerate imperfection (sin) and its consequent guilt. This syndrome results in a projection of evil onto selected specific innocent victims, which is the paradoxical mechanism by which the People of the Lie commit their evil.” His studies further brought him to outline the character disorders of evil people: • Consistently self-deceiving, with the intent of avoiding guilt and maintaining a self-image of perfection • Deceives others as a consequence of their own self-deception • Projects his or her evils and sins onto very specific targets (scapegoats) while being normal to others • Commonly hates with the pretense of love, for the purposes of self-deception • Abuses political and emotional powers covertly over others • Maintains high level of respectability and lies incessantly in order to do so • Is consistent in his or her sins. Destructive behavior • Is unable to think from the viewpoint of their victim (no empathy) • Has a covert intolerance to criticism and other forms of narcissistic injury

Dr. Peck said his published findings on People of the Lie are dangerous and those who are of the evil fabric will manipulate the findings by projecting them on their victims, who they knowingly villify. Nevertheless, the gist of his scholarly work is that evil is “militant ignorance,” and those who lie, deceive or manipulate with regularity oppose traits of goodness. Since the hallmark of the Golden Rule is having compassion for others, people of the lie—narcissists, sociopaths or psychopaths—don’t have empathy, remorse or guilt, though they are known to feign it well as they are master manipulators. Further, the disordered personalities most commonly seek to control and dominate their victims through proxies—children, co-workers, relatives. This is often done through triangulation and isolation. By cutting off their victims’ social structures and enforcement troops, the evil render their victims vulnerable or dead by stripping them of their souls. Martha Stout, Ph.D., stated, “The physical basis for sociopathy is approximately 50 percent inheritable, which sounds more dramatic than it probably is, because most personality characteristics are that. Sociopathy is physical, it’s organic, and the people who do magnetic resonance studies—brain scans—have found that sociopaths differ dramatically in how their brains react to emotional words.” They virtually have no emotions just as they have no conscious. For power, control, and just for the “heck of it,” evil people ruin lives by hurting others just so they “look” better, have their way and because to “enjoy” wreaking havoc and will “stop at nothing,”

to do so. These are the murderous types, who like Ted Bundy, can be as charming as all get out. When serial killer Bundy was asked why he killed so many women, he simply answered, “Because it gave me pleasure.” Bundy grew up in a deceitful situation. He was lead to believe his mother was his sister, and then as a teenager when his “sister” left home, she brought him with her, reinstating herself as his actual mother. This obviously created a confusion in Bundy and a hate for women-kind. He was betrayed and the ultimate fraud was bestowed upon him, by people who should have been most honest to him. Abusers use undermining, isolation, deception, misdirection and their job or family positions to deceive and prey on victims—everything Bundy did to capture and kill his prey. According to PsychopathyAwareness.com, “Psychopaths are losers who view themselves as leaders. As we’ve seen, unless there’s a specific advantage for him, a psychopath never admits to being wrong, to doing wrong, to having wronged anyone. Whatever he does wrong to others, he manages to project blame on the victims and on those around them. In fact, the psychopath will see his cowardly actions as superior; on a higher plane of existence than the rest of humanity. Rather than seeing himself as the pathological person that he is—essentially, a loser who spends his life parasitically using and taking advantage of others—the psychopath is likely to see and describe himself as a maverick: a lone dissenter, a willfully independent hero “ahead of the pack,” who rejects the dated and commonplace notions of right and wrong and of truth and falsehood. Ethical human beings, who care about others, are considered by the psychopath and his followers “moralistic” and “narrowminded.” Psychopaths are the most disturbed humans and have the same Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders, DSM-5 rating as a retarded person as their condition is unchangeable. In following the Golden Rule, we had to have touch points as myopic, corrupt citizens and groups as they very much are a part of society. They fill our prisons, live off our government and are generally non-contributors to society. They destroy, don’t create and they are often cadgers. In fact, according to Martha Stout, PhD, author of Sociopath Next Door, one in 25 Americans are quite seriously disordered. Since the thread of this book is to help you master an enriched lifestyle, you should learn how to deal destructive individuals; learn to cope and make the most of each situation. Best yet, how can you get out alive without losing your life, liberties and earnestly earned goods. How can you save your loved ones from the disordered? Awareness, the use of knowledge and action.

You may not even know what’s happening to you as it can be subtle, but you do feel impeded on and your freedom of expression, love and autonomy it violated. If you feel like a “doormat,” you are being abused. Generally, at first, you get very defensive, then depressed, then either decide to leave or stay. When it gets so bad, victims may even try to commit suicide as they are so overwhelmed with the wickedness of undermining and control. The power and control wheel is a visual that sheds light on what victims go through. Of all the behaviors above, isolation is perhaps the most powerful tactic controlling partners and alienators employ. “It weakens their victims and prevents them from hearing others’ perspectives, and brings them in line with his beliefs and requirements,” stated SpeakOutLoud.Net, a website shining a light on abusers’ tactics. “Many abusers control incoming information including what she reads, and if she can spend time with family or certain friends....that you may only go to dinner with a loved one, if someone else joins in, so as the loved one will not have the opportunity to share authentic feelings and knowings.”

You know you’re in a very abusive situation when your partner, ex or even a grandparent begins to use your children as pawns. This is termed Parent Alienation Syndrome, by which the “powers that be,” systematically turn up the “hate volume” on the targeted parent, by villifying them and projecting their abusive ways onto the innocent parent, driving a huge wedge between the “good” or normal parent and their children. SpeakOutLoud said, “Many men use the children in an attempt to punish their partner or ex, and the children are negatively impacted as a result.” These abusive types care only that they “look” good to others and don’t care about the well-being of their children or grandchildren. They are master manipulators, who unscrupulously influence the innocent and harm them for life. It’s what Dr. M. Scott Peck in the People of the Lie called “militant ignorance.” Watch on YouTube Parental Alienation Syndrome: Alienating Parents Do Not Really Love Their Children. It’s a riveting look on an ever-growing phenomena, and one by which the narcissist should be charged with manslaughter as their ego destroys the kids, the other parent and extended family. In The Life Code, by Dr. Phil McGraw, refers to “bad guys” as BAITERS, which is an acronym for backstabber, abuser, imposer, taker, exploiter, reckless. Baiters, he wrote, not only thrive on drama, but are arrogant, lack empathy, show no remorse, irresponsible, thrives on drama, brags, has lots of short-term relationships and is delusional—all the stuff of radical militant groups and narcissists possess. They are of the low-archy. Dr. Phil also suggested not to give others the benefit of the doubt. Be guarded and a keen observer, while M. Scott Peck, M.D. stated, “If you catch someone in three lies, get away from that person, as it is likely habitual and shows they have no boundaries.” Peck believed a “lie” is the foundation of the corrupted mind. If you find yourself in a relationship or family who has the dark triad of personality traits—narcissism, Machiavellianism and psychopathy—In Sheep’s Clothing by George Simon, Jr. PhD is helpful, particularly since most narcissists are coverts and use proxies. Dr. Simon said this deflects them from having any responsibility and involves others in their web of deception. Think you know a narcissist? Firstly, the primary characteristics of a narcissist are that they are very charming, over-care of physical appearance, control and dominate, have great sense of entitlement, generally hold power positions, lack empathy and are passive-agressive manipulators. They normally show an over-involvement in their children’s lives as they want the

world to view them as good. Over-parenting is often a cause of narcissism. This allows them to enmesh his views on innocents and gives them vampire “supply.” They often will speak for you, too. Control, control, control. One who at the highest dysfunctional level of the disorder is a psychopath, who practices emotional incest, which is when they out, let say a mother, to enmesh/ brainwash an innocent child away from her. By disempowering the innate parent, they “pervert” the most natural order to the animal kingdom. Dr. Childress stated that by them doing so, they likely are sexually disordered. It’s speculated that alienators have themselves been a victim to child molestation, rape or incest. They are prone to having multiple affairs, postitutes and experiment often with same-sex partners. Their offspring tend to be sexual deviants, too. The consensus of all PhDs cited in The Golden Way, is that narcissistic people are the “evil” in the world as they have no consciousness and no inner feelings. They do not hold God, country or ethics, higher than themselves, rather they only hold themselves and their interests as their higher powers. This is quite different from the “I Am,” where self is still highly important, but compassion and empathy are paramount. Gail Meyers wrote, “A narcissist is constantly projecting their negative character traits onto others. Did you just catch the narcissist in lie? You’re about to be called a liar. They love to strip the real victims of their virtue and themselves of their abuse with projection and twisted stories. Whatever quality you value in yourself are likely targets. You pride yourself on being honest or generous? They will rip you off, then accuse you of being a lying thief.” In essence, they are “crazymakers” as no matter what you do, it will be viewed as “wrong” and they will target you for that wrong. Philip Zimbardo wrote a book called The Lucifer Effect, Understanding How Good People Turn Evil. Ultimately, the study found the those turned evil follow these traits:

1. Mindless taking of first step 2. Dehumanization of others 3. De-individualizing of self-autonomy 4. Diffusion of personal responsibility 5. Uncritical conformity to group norms 6. Passive tolerance of evil through inaction or indifference

Obviously by probing into the minds and tactics of those who have the predisposi-

tion to evil, we can further understand validity and beauty of the Golden Rule. In recognizing the characteristics of those who practice unethical behaviors, you’ll be able to use this knowledge to protect yourself. Herein then are some of the most insightful modes of dealing with destructive personalities. Firstly recognize abusers’ tactics, which are on the power and control wheel as well as itemized here: belittling, demoralizing, shaming, threats, rumors, physical harm, denying access, interrupting, the silent treatment, using institutions, economic control, gaslighting, exploiting. One of the most telling signs of an abuser {whether on an international level or a microcosm of a personal relationship} is if they make unilateral decisions without regard to you. They then have isolated you out of the equations and have taken full control, which epitomizes their grandiose and entitlement natures. Hence, the below tactics garnered from the many PhDs (Peck, Snout, McGraw, Simon and Dyer) are good safeguards. Intuitively, follow your “gut” instinct and secure that which needs to be secured: children, finances, home, safety, health and well-being; “learn to spot BAITERS” as Dr. Phil’s Life Code outlines, spot check any negative attitudes and thoughts and take time to reflect on the wisdom set forth within The Golden Way. Manifest your own destiny...don’t let them do so, for will be on a ride from hell and it ain’t for the faint of heart. Below are some tactics that may help you when dealing with abusive people.

1. Observe, don’t absorb. 2. Refrain from emotional responses. Don’t show vulnerability. 3. Know their behavior will NEVER change, so distant yourself. 4. Live healthy lifestyle filled with healthy people and activities. 5. Set your boundaries, change all passwords, habits, et al. 6. They don’t honor the law, vows or any ethics, so physically escape. 7. Come from a place of strength, courage and love. 8. You will be “isolated” or given silent treatments. 9. Refrain from being a people pleaser. You don’t need other’s approval. 10. Reboot. Revamp attitude. Self-reliance. Learn what real love is. 11. Say goodbye to anger and the past. Live in the now. 12. Realize they are ultimately weak and insecure, so empathy is due. 13. Unite with friends and family and tell them they will triangulate and try to turn them and your children against you. 14. They are master manipulators, so create a sound strategy with positive frequencies. 15. They are covert and use proxies, so use of deception may be in order. 16. Evaluate their intentions and take action in accordance to counter it. 17. Move swiftly and with no hesitation. Blind-side them.

The last four steps are the baselines outlined in an ancient book called The Art of War by Chinese General Sun Tsu. This book is considered a world classic, not just for military workers, but for the masses as the general outlined before even Christ

was born, the strategic way of “winning battles,” even though he considered “war as a necessary evil that must be avoided whenever possible.” Quintessentially, it stated warfare is about deception, so keep your strategies hidden, but execute them quickly and without hesitation, while at the same time, be fluid enough to know situations change, so you must continually adapt to them. Most wrong doers falsify info to get an emotional response. They do so by implementing the silent treatment or overriding any authority you should have, by simply assuming the power. They steal what should rightfully be yours and have zero qualms about doing so for integrity means nothing to them, only winning and looking good in the eyes of others. They are fake heroes who live in a false reality. Their chain will be broken, if you draw yourself into the noble point of consciousness. Know, too, if you have high positive energy frequencies about you—love, connectivity, courage, original thoughts, joy, productivity and general happiness—they are less likely to penetrate your mind’s transcendental state. So, amp up your energy field with great intentions, get out of limbo and in a state of your authentic bold self. This way other positive energy forces will come to your aid. They will further shield you from the opposing forces. The law of attraction works for more than lovers, it works for like-souls whose DNA iterate with positively charged fractals. They will magnetize their energy forces around you like the spiral in all living things, but remember you are in charge of invigorating the positive rhythms and keeping them energized so you may manifest a destiny of unity and solidarity. Wholeheartedly commit to prevailing and thriving in a state of firm clarity. You owe it to yourself to let your inner-child grow up, get in balance and face the world head on. Unleash your spiritual warrior. As you may have ascertained, strong people forgive, while the “archons” of society seek revenge and skew beautiful doctrines and people to justify their means. Intelligent folks ignore the bad, celebrate the good and respect others’ differences and choices. They are creators, while the archons are the destroyers with distorted realities that are narrow minded. In a less metaphysical sense, archons are humans with psychological disorders as they do not follow the boundaries. They are selfdirective. The Golden Rule or karma don’t mean a thing to them. They are empty. They live in a soul-less vacuum. They even deconstruct history through gaslighting, undermining and spreading untruths.

One of Great Britain’s modern-day writers and philosophers, David Icke, said, “Archons are a non-human force. The archons are terrified of humans as humans have the ability to create. Humans have the ability for the expansion of consciousness, while archons only have the ability to mimic. They create fake realities and the only way they can take control is covertly. They feed off of human energy and humans with low vibration emotions—fear, anxiety, hate, guilt, frustration, fury—as these beings can easily be turned into archons” as they don’t have great self-esteem and vacillate in limbo. Naturally, no one should be abused, so their inner-workings are out of balance and need adjusting. Their “core” IDs need to build confidence, which is done by chasing what is honorable and rejecting those who are dishonorable. Find your inner-strength, muster up the courage to change as, Icke said, too, “Aside from love, courage is the thing archons are most afraid of.” In the concluding this chapter on The Devil Takes The Hindmost, it is wise to look upon d-evil people as impure entities who contaminate the natural order of the world. It’s also important to remember, “What you fight, you can become,” Icke said. So, give it up, point your moral compass to the north and work on being your best self. Build all aspects of your inner-strength, share love and laughter. Practice appreciation and gratitude. Intentionally create a life that follows the precepts of the Golden Rule, for “Satan fears the person with a pure heart—not the perfect person, but the person who wants to do the right thing and keeps his or her motives pure. People who pursue purity, don’t have to be afraid of him, he is afraid of them.”

Now, on to the lighter, brighter sense of being—The Golden’s Way’s suggestion to follow the key component of the Golden Rule, which is to respect yourself and have respect for others. In doing so, you shed ignorance by making yourself more worldly. You tap into your wisdom by trusting the universe and seeing the validity of others’ perspectives, lifestyles, religious beliefs, etc. You become all knowing and more loving in realizing it’s not all about you, but about all living things and in respecting all living things you are ultimately respecting yourself. It’s about letting your higher consciousness emerge by letting go of fear and negative energies while intentionally and intellectually observing the world through a clear lense of justice and goodwill. It’s about learning from mistakes, and acknowledging they are your most brilliant teachers. If you fuse what’s in your heart and what your pragmatic brain receives from the world, you become a great creator of joy. You then have no need to give your power away because you know you are in alignment with mystic visions of the universe. Perhaps many would call this confidence, perhaps many would call this having a healthy ego (ID), as Sigmund Freud suggested. Most likely, however, it is the humble, but most high distinction of being honorable. It’s what you do in the night when no one is looking; it’s what you gain from taking coura-

geous action steps of changing what’s out of balance; it’s what you incur deservedly by taking meek or radical moves against brutality, violence, despair and corruption. More than anything, honor is about cultivating your most enlightened soul through self-reliance. For if, as the Golden Rule and the Golden Ratio point out, you are in compliance with the natural order of love and kindness, then growth from a higher consciousness will expand into infinity. The ancestor of everything real to you today was built by the thoughts and actions of your forebears. From their mental activity and contributions to life, you built your life. Create a legacy. Dr. Goodman said the Oxford Textbook of Psychiatry reveals you cannot change your nature, but can change up your situations and thoughts. So embrace and nurture your unique qualities (the nature of your soul, the essence of your personality), just adapt the situation you’re in to be positive and forward-moving....toward the light of “I Am.” Generate self-talk dialogues that turn lemons into lemonade. Tell yourself, you’re OK, if not great, but you are no greater or lesser than anyone else. Goodman also wrote, “Everyone must endure threats that may lead to covering up one’s inner nobility and live from an outer protective layer. But sometimes a person can forget one’s own essential goodness. It is the first principle of Buddhism to help a person see underneath the outer armor, to see the inner nobility, goodness and beauty in all human beings.” In a Dr. Wayne Dyer’s YouTube podcast, he said one of the most inspirational and nurturing organizations he partakes in is Alcoholics Anonymous (AA) as there isn’t one leader or profits to be made, only an atmosphere of getting guidance, self-help, helping others and acknowledgement we are “powerless” over a certain substance(s)—alcohol, drugs, nicotine, food, shopping, gambling. Though Dr. Dyer said he isn’t an alcoholic, “I go to meetings and listen to stories.....how beautiful it is to be in the presence of those who want to help each other. It’s humbling.” Obscurity is a noble quality. The benign anarchy or informal sense of AA’s group organization inverts its “governing” model in order to “avoid the pitfalls that political and religious institutions have encountered since it was established in 1946,” said Bill Wilson. This quasi-religious group’s organizational structure surrendered the control of “one” and puts, if you will, “the power with each individual member, though there is a pseudo-leader who is a “trusted servant” to its members. These pseudo-leaders rotate and have recovered from afflictions themselves. They are there to help with organizational

factors and focus on certain topics. The basic aphorism of AA, of course, is to be there to help the 88,000,000 people in America deal with problems beset by alcoholism and other dependencies. Its twelve step program helps members spiritually, medically, and psychologically via its support-group meetings. Whether court mandated or joining to get on a more healthy path, AA provides guidance and strength by developing a spiritual relationship with God, or whomever/whatever members view as their higher power. It shifts alcohol’s power and control of members onto the divinity of the universe. AA asks each member to take moral inventory of the actions/inactions the “drug” influenced them to do and to make amends with those they harmed, asking for forgiveness and compassion, while giving forgiveness and compassion to those who suffer the same hardships. Basically, it’s a soulful fellowship that guides members to take care of themselves, the very root of the Golden Rule. Take care of one, then your one can join forces with the next one in a healthy manner, ultimately creating affirmative action and growth that will spur your DNA’s expansion into the wonderful crescendos of the universe’s infinite timelessness. Dr. Dyer gave up drinking when he met his long estranged, alcoholic father, dead and buried. Having abandoned his mother with three boys who were raised in foster homes and orphanages for a stint, Dyer said he carried years of bitterness, rage and resentment for the man whose DNA brought him into this world. When he finally found him six-feet under, he stomped on his father’s grave to express his justly felt vexations of a youth gone awry. Dyer channeled his childhood anger at his “irresponsible” father. He released his pent up anger. It’s important to process and experience the negativity that besets us, before we can give it up. Seemingly, moments within “detoxifying his fury,” young Dyer had an ahh haa moment, an epiphany that changed his life’s course. That striking insight was that forgiveness, and to stop blaming “are the only way” to live a life fulfilled with a richness of the invisible sorts. It was his gift to himself, his father and the world around him. Dyer said, “Mark Twain’s quote, ‘Forgiveness is the fragrance that the violet sheds on the heel that has crushed it,’” resonated deeply within him then and now. Finally, he said, he got it...that is, the death of his father, somehow breathed a purposeful life into him. Alignment and balance with the universe presented them. To move onward and upward, you must learn from your suffering and the pain of others.... go through it, experience it, but do not dwell in its house. To be one with the universe, you must let go of it as though it’s an oil droplet on your watered-down shirt that will slide off your shoulders and onto the ground, where the inferno of lower-

beings reside. Metaphorically, Dyer’s suffering was funneled into that event horizon whereby the answers of the cosmos came to him; in his father’s weakness, he found a higher truth. He might have said to his father, “Don’t you get it Dad, you are me. Your pain, created my pain. You mattered so much, but because you didn’t know the powers of the universe and stayed stuck in your self-indulgence and self-pity, you effected me. YOU mattered, so very much. If only you could have seen the brilliance of you, then me, then my brothers, and our mom would have lived more celebrated lives of connectivity. If only you honored your sacred self.” One might ascertain, Dr. Dyer wrote Your Erroneous Zones, one of the best-selling self-help books of all time, because he came to know what his father didn’t—negative thinking and treating oneself disrespectfully has an enormous impact on all those around you. The theme of this book drives home the importance of ridding your consciousness of self-defeating behavior so you can live in a healthy natural state, which “is a judicious mixture of hard work, clear thinking, humor and self-confidence.” Through intentional living, you should have positive self-talks and manifest goals based on love. You must be responsible and the captain of your own ship—a lesson that is again the center of the Golden Rule. Because a quarter to a third of the human population suffers from some sort of addiction, it is important this topic is explored a bit more. Also, because so many have trouble keeping on “the wagon” or on a diet, exploring the routes by which to best over come the “product of choice,” should help put you on a road to victory which has many more joyful returns than the latter. Let’s start with AA’s twelve step program, as this organization has years of expertise on the subject at hand: The Twelve Steps 1. We admitted we were powerless over alcohol—that our lives had become unmanageable. 2. Came to believe that a power greater than ourselves could restore us to sanity. 3. Made a decision to turn our will and our lives over to the care of God as we understood Him. 4. Made a searching and fearless moral inventory of ourselves. 5. Admitted to God, to ourselves, and to another human being the exact nature of our wrongs. 6. Were entirely ready to have God remove all these defects of character. 7. Humbly asked Him to remove our shortcomings. 8. Made a list of all persons we had harmed, and became willing to make amends to them all. 9. Made direct amends to such people wherever possible, except when to do so would injure them or others. 10. Continued to take personal inventory, and when we were wrong, promptly admitted it. 11. Sought through prayer and meditation to improve our conscious contact with God as we understood Him, praying only for knowledge of His will for us and the power to carry that out. 12. Having had a spiritual awakening as the result of these steps, we tried to carry this message to alcoholics, and to practice these principles in all our affairs.

Taking responsibility for your actions, asking for forgiveness and putting God or a higher power above the compulsion to indulge are the basic tenets. One might well argue that addicts are an inverted-type of narcissist in that the “true narcissist” only puts himself first, while an addict puts the “substance” first. Wikipedia.Org stated, “According to disability studies specialist Lennard J. Davis, historically, the concept of co-dependence “comes directly out of AA, part of a dawning realization that the problem was not solely the addict, but also the family and friends who constitute a network for the alcoholic.” It was subsequently broadened to cover the way “that the codependent person is fixated on another person for approval, sustenance, and so on.” Herein, the recurrent use of the substance or activity that impairs work and family responsibilities basically translates in the abuser not having self-respect, and perhaps have psychological impairments that aren’t allowing them to care for number one. Ironic as it may sound, addicts can be very selfish people in that they know what they do unto themselves, they are doing unto others. They often just don’t have the wherewithal to change. Hence, the only way to truly stop is by creating and living within a new thought paradigm. The thought processes have to be constructive, creative and compassionate. In many cases, addicts are empaths who absorb the negativity in the world, not observe it. They have to release the “slippery little buggers,” and let the past be the past. Everyone including AA members should grow their confidence and worthiness levels by recognizing everyone has problems, it’s just learning to deal with them head on instead with a crutch. In acknowledging a higher order and the forgiving nature of human nature, a new awareness can emerge. You will heal by releasing the wrongs of the past, forgive those who have wronged you and forgive yourself. Some beautifully designed “stickies” on one of Google’s image board insightfully and quiet poetically state: “Forgiveness is the key that unlocks the door of resentment and the handcuffs of hatred. It is a power that breaks the chains of bitterness and the shackles of selfishness,” Carrie Boom. “Forgiveness is the final form of love.”­­— Reinhold Niebuhr “Let your wings of forgiveness flutter and take you into a garden where flowers of peace blossom.” —Dodinsky “The weak never forgive. Wisdom warriors are not infected with the endless drudge of guilt and shame. They quickly forgive themselves and others in the fashionable time frame of the now. Barbara Corcoran of ABC’s Shark Tank grew a $6 billion dollar business from a $1,000 root funds. In one of her podcasts, she disclosed a lesson she quickly learned from her top real estate seller, an Oriental fireball of a woman. This woman performed above all others ten-fold simply because she immediately moved on from a “faux pas” or a closing that didn’t happen. Barbara said she’d not even give it a second thought, merely picked up and moved forward, while so many others would brood for weeks if a closing didn’t befall. There’s a beauty in not absorbing what wounda, coulda, shoulda happened. Moving forward, hell-bent on achieving your end goal is a vibration of success and demonstrates self-reliance, fortitude and love of oneself. Most everyone has done shameful things. Most have been indignant at one point or another. It’s a given. Life is full of challenges. We all make mistakes and don’t perform perfectly all the time. Beyond learning from gaffes, we should make light of them as that reveals a unique type of splendor and worldliness. On Barbara Corcoran’s website, she humorously proclaims her credentials “include straight D’s in high school and college and had 20 jobs by the time she turned 23 years old.” What a giggle. There’s even a bit of genius in what Barbara puts out there for the world to know as, like the AA steps, she professes her foibles immediately and with a lampoonish narrative. It’s truly brilliant and likely foretells us why she was able to become such a real estate marvel. She doesn’t get bogged down in the negative, but rises her attitude to the positive dimensions. She accepts her short-fallings and focuses on what inspires and speaks to her. Degrees are admirable, but not the be all end all of success. Happiness and love are the golden keys to success. Self-pity destroys a soul and relationships more quickly than anything. You need to have compassion for your fiascos and a bit of jocularity as these qualities are much more enriching to our psyches. Oscar Wilde said, “Pity will destroy anything that’s good, it will fulfill all the prophecies it makes and leave only itself. And it’s so simple to imagine that one is hard done by, and that things are unfair, and that one is under appreciated, and that if only one had had a chance at this, only one had had a chance at that, things would have gone better, you would be happier if only this, that one is unlucky. All those things. And some of them may well even be true. But, to pity oneself as a result of them is to do oneself an enormous disservice.” People should not consider themselves “separate” from society or journey through life in a self-pitied fashion. If you do, it’s a huge self-defeating distortion of the

truth as family, friends and even nature desire you to be happy and thriving. Happiness is the baseline of existence. You should be mostly happy, most all the time. If you’re not, reach out to your core loved ones and to the universe and get these forces to help put you in alignment. It’s amazing what synergy can do. It’s also important to note that you shouldn’t let too much time pass in the negative “frequencies” as they will fully consume your mindset, and then you’ll actually start believing the negativity which will give you a one-way ticket down to the nine circles of hell. So look in the mirror and make a change. Change is painful and so is growth, but to continue being stuck is much worse. Breaking habits or getting out of a “funk” are most difficult, but you’re at the command post of the most powerful forces in the universe, the human mind and spirit, so nothing is stopping you. Find the purpose in your life and light it on fire with passion, direction, good self-talk and laughter, as it’s the best medicine of all. Brené Brown, Ph.D., in The Gifts of Imperfection, said, “Staying vulnerable is a risk we have to take if we want to experience connection.” In perfect alignment with the canons of AA, she further stated, “Spirituality is recognizing and celebrating that we are all inextricably connected to each other by a power greater than all of us, and that our connection to that power and to another is grounded in love and compassion. Practicing spirituality brings a sense of perspective, meaning and purpose to our lives.” I fell in love with my dream man a few years back. He was kind, gentle, a good father, had two Ph.D.s and was an ER doc—fascinating work. Handsome as they come, tall, financially well-off....and loved the arts as much the sciences. I was in a euphonic state of love for the first time in my life. My inner-soul was content and didn’t want to miss a day with him, or he with me. My body, mind and spirit were in harmony with his body, mind and spirit. He made me feel so feminine and intelligent. I think if I hadn’t had the childhood I had, one of which was riddled with alcoholic parents, divorce, epilepsy, I would have told him, “I love you unconditionally,” when he asked me, but I could not, as love does have conditions, and I wasn’t going to sell my soul as I did during my 28-year marriage. As much as “Doc” (what his friends called him) had everything I could ever dream of and will never forget, he was a serious alcoholic who dwelled in the house of self-pity. He was never “pitiful” around me, but when he was alone he’d drink and drink to the point of no tomorrow. When I’d go way on business trip and he’d call me and I could tell he

was drunk; then he’d show up at my house stumbling here and there. It made me ill. He also thought he was so smart, (and he was) he could outsmart the court ordered “blow” tests the county mandated him to do. Ultimately, I wrote his mom to tell her I was breaking up with him, and she then got him into five months of rehab, which docs have to go to if they are to keep their licenses. (They also have to pee in a cup every hour while on duty.) Nevertheless, after all those months and $50,000 later, I truly wanted to get back together, but he never once said any one of the twelve step things to me, so I let the love of my life go as I didn’t want to put my soul through more. I needed to protect myself from more betrayals, deception and all that goes with those who ultimately don’t follow the Golden Rule. You cannot consider vulnerabilities weaknesses. Everyone of has issues, and I am suspect of anyone who cannot own up to their mistakes and take responsibility for them. Be transparent and then work on them. The most ignorant thing you can do is self-denial for this indicates you have no propensity or desire to grow and undulate yourself to a new and better dimension. Dr. Phil said, “You can’t change what you don’t acknowledge.” So, come clean with yourself, be accountable for your actions, make amends for your mistakes....then take a close look in the mirror. Self-denial is much uglier than what you’ll find in the mirror when you unveil your authentic self. The real you is beautiful. Embrace it.

You likely look in the mirror everyday. Hopefully the man or woman in the mirror is guided by the principles of the Golden Rule and you’ve come to know the eminence in being the creator of human sunshine. Conceivably, The Golden Way established the noteworthiness of the timeless axiom of “doing unto others as you would have them do unto you.” There’s such an overpoweringly beautiful message that nearly every philosopher, pantheist, psychologist, writer, scientist and religion on earth has held it near and dear to their teachings. Love yourself and love others; we are all connected. It’s also a Universal Law of Nature as it has reverence and respect for all living things. It advocates, like Michael Jackson’s lyrics Man in the Mirror — If You Wanna Make The World A Better Place Take A Look At Yourself, And Then Make A Change. As most of us look in the mirror, we think, “How can I do better, and be there for others?” Be contemplative, connect with others in the universe in a giving fashion and create a healthy, positive self-awareness. So many have pulled themselves up from the drenches because the chaos of alcoholism, drug usage, abandonment, emotional and sexual abuse, negative thinkers, etc. In some ways, the conditions spurred us on to strive to be our utmost. There was no place farther down we could have gone, so we gasped onto God and the lightness of the universe and let him guide us through life using our intelligent and all-knowing selves. Experiencing the pain first-hand forced us to look into the deep recesses of our souls and say, “I have choice number one—a path of depravation and non-earnestness, or I have choice number two—a path in which I give it my all and align myself with the sun, moon and stars, which falls in line with nature’s natural order of kindness and love. Your aspiration of living a good life is achieved by the electrical frequencies your heart and brain emit. This is proven scientifically as well as in a study in Japan, a group of scientists asked everyone to send out love “vibrations” when thinking of the water in the petri dish. Later the scientists asked the same group to send negative, self-defeating thoughts to a different water dish. When both dishes were brought out after being frozen, the one with positive vibes had crystal and the beautiful refracted lights of the rainbow shimmering from the dish. The dish with negative thoughts came to be blackish in tone. Since we’re made of 90 percent water, can’t you see how are thoughts effect every aspect of our lives? When Dr. Dyer released the negative thoughts of his father’s influence on his life and immediately replaced them with an esoteric belief of the universe; he changed

his stars. In theory, Dyer, like all who have addiction problems or know someone who does, listened to the call of the wild and got in touch with his primal self, which he innately knew was pure and positive. He cracked away the clay that covered his Golden Buddha or authentic self. He forgave his father and consciously charged his life with positive neurons that took him up the yellow brink road to the Emerald City of Oz, metaphorically speaking. Out with the negatives and in with the “Tao,” if you will. Dyer said we can find our source, our god, our illuminated selves in nature. Pick something in nature... anything. If you so wish to model a tree, embrace its very nature. Change with the seasons. Adore the fiery crimson tides of fall and the dormant quietude of winter; love the rebirthing season of spring and the fact the birds of the feather want to nest among your branches; care for them and nurture them as they are the ornaments of your soul and the decor of your ornate plumage of leaves. Celebrate the very fact that birds want to preside with you on their journeys through life. Give them a reason to want to be in your midst by standing tall when the sun it at its vortex. Show them your strength when the westerly winds pressure you to bend with their fierce energy forces by being as fluid as water. Go with it, stretch your spine to your toes and enjoy the sights and smells of the ground-cover you take root in. As the kinetic energy of the wind settles down, slowly straighten your spine and lift your limbs to the brightest star. Come back with stoic conviction. Regrow your branches so you may flower your regenerational cones quickly. Send vibrational invites to all saying you welcome their companionship. Regal Great Horned Owls will reconstruct their nest on your upper limbs and bring you much pleasure with the birth of their owlets and nightly whoo, whoo songs. Squirrels, raccoons, snakes and frogs might visit you while the owls honker down for the day. Butterflies will grace you with their beautiful air ballets and deem you their main protector during inclement weather as they latch on to the underside of your leaves using them as natural awnings. The sweet essence of the wildflowers crowning your trunk will make you giggle with joy and attract the mighty creatures of the woods to you, too. Elk, deer, bear and cougar will come to massage your barky back and scratch the itchy spots as a mode of thanks, since you provide them with the very air they breathe and some of the nosh that keeps them alive. As a tree, remember you’re a forest, too. You’re a canopy for most wild things and the creator of earth, air and fire. You make music with your leaves and crackling

branches; you’re in tune with the mysterious melodies of the earth; you feed many living things and line rivers, mountains and lakes with your beauty while providing shade from the powerful sun’s rays and warmth in the freezing cold of winter. You are our everything; you are but me and we are but you. You are all giving and everyone loves to be near you. You are made up of the Golden Ratio and a deep-rooted advocate of the Golden Rule. You’re also a wonderful history keeper, as your rings foretell us about the events you endured and about the likely weather patterns that will come to be. You are but a tree, yet you are more than that, you are the Tree of Life, which “alludes to the interconnection of all life on our planet and serves as metaphor for common descent in the evolutionary sense. The term Tree of Life may also be used as a synonym for Sacred Tree or the Tree of Knowledge as it connects the heavens with the underworld,” writes Wikipedia. “You can look at any given tree, look at a leaf and tell where the forest begins and where the forest ends. You can tell where the streams are, where rocks are. Based on looking at one tree, you can figure all this out,” stated YouTube’s, Fractals, Universal Tree Mapping and The Golden Mean. This self-similar pattern exists everywhere in the universe. Only with today’s computers have scientists been able to see how incredibly all living things are connected and how, if we read just one minute aspect of a being such as a tree, that can foretell us about every other living being in the paradigm is like. Self-similar patterns derived from fractals and the Golden Ratio, and God if you so believe in him. Taoism advocates the principles of democracy and suggests to live in harmony with the basic forces of nature. It is the acceptance of dualities, yin and yang. Yin is dark, cold, female, negative, while yang is light, hot, male and positive. It’s earthly translations are water, fire, wood, metal and earth. Recognizing polarities in nature and the metaphysical world, Taoism suggests we align ourselves with the natural order of things. Accept life with death and that lightness wars with darkness and there’re positive energy forces as will as negative ones. She lets them go their own way, and resides at the center of the circle.” “All streams flow to the sea because it is lower than they are. Humility gives it, its power. If you want to govern the people, you must place yourself below the. If want to lead the people, you must learn how to follow them.”

Taoism teaches us to look deeper into things, as they aren’t always what they appear to be. There’s an innate duality in nature as well as mankind. Shakespeare was a master at doubling, duality and duplicity. In Hamlet he wrote, “The lady doth protests too much, methinks,” which expels the notion of those who complain or project wrong doings overly much, might very well be the actual perpetrator. In psychotherapy, good people often have a lack of confidence and unhealthy thinking even though they are the creators of many fine things and are endowed with brilliant minds. Bad people, on the other hand, are often over-confident and take what is not their’s to take. They copy, mimic and are said to be parasites. Duplicity is an ironic reality of the world and if we can tap into understanding this and transform our thoughts from pure black and white thinking, our minds expand from narrow world views to open-mindedness that puts us in alignment with the universe. If we dispel the notion that thinking highly of ourselves is bad, but whether fine, we grow. That is not to say anyone is better than anyone else, it is merely to say there is a distortion, a lie of sorts, when we think in the negative zone as we should strive to be pure and beautiful. You and I are imperfectly perfect, and you should not hold yourself hostage to antipathetic beliefs. It holds you back and is self-defeating. No one, not the empath or the narcissist will live balanced, truly happy lives until they tamed their wicked thoughts and get in the positive, genuine state of power. Dr. Dyer quoted a teaching of Tao that has a profound insight on how mankind should view life, “The Tao is nothing. It does nothing and leaves nothing undone.” An interpretation of this is that we should get back to our natural states of being, our infant state, where our souls are untethered and in sync with the universal laws of nature; we simply are our unique selves who ask not for attention’s glory or are we self-inflicted with other energy forces (alcohol, drugs, etc) or propaganda. We

are simply who we are, uninfluenced by the environment, yet totally of the world. We’re obscure, pure and innocent. “Why is the sea a king of a 100 streams, because it lies low,” but is deep and full of life. It’s the most powerful thing on the planet, and holds its life-giving forces below its surface in obscurity. It isn’t afraid, however, to have a sparring match when the sun, moon and clouds rival it out. No, the sea is the greatest equalizer. It is the dragon that will tame the negativity of the world and the source by which most living things are derived. Upon calming the “hissy fits” of the elements of above and below, the ocean tides again kisses the shorelines with more serene touches that undulate to the tides of time. Scientists in Austria (and Japan) are studying the mysteries of water. They asked the question, does water have memory—can water retain informational data from where it’s been and what it’s been in contact with? The answer is “yes.” Water is intelligent as it not only picks up auras, but assimilates the DNA of a flower if a flower was put in its environment. If the flower of a different type was put in another vessel, its droplets reflected the makings of that flower; then that of a head of lettuce. Then when another head of lettuce that was exposed to the radiation of a cell phone that water’s droplets reflected the lettuce’s dna fused with signs of radiation. “All living things have a bright center,” stated one of the scientists, and before the living things were put in water, the droplets had black centers. After coming in contact with living things, the arrangement of the water droplets changed totally to mimic that life force. It’s also interesting to note these scientists found that when radio waves are added to saline water, it burns. This is an incredible discovery and has earned water it’s new name, White Gold, as it may well be the answer to supplying our energy needs with something other than Black Gold, or oil, which pollutes the environment. Since this chapter is on the Golden Rule—do unto others as you’d do unto yourself—which is the “spirit” part of the body, mind, spirit paradigm, you can profoundly see the importance and phenomena spirit and thoughts can have on your health and well-being. You are what you think for most certain, and you are also what you believe in your subconscious, spiritual realm. For if your spiritual-self thinks in a self-pity, self-defeating manner, your body, which is 67 percent made up of water, will get contaminated, too. So, train yourself to say only positive selfaffirmations daily.

Become A Mental Giant The Genius & Power Within

“Genius is one percent talent and 99 percent hard work.” “The difference between stupidity and genius is that genius has its limits.” —Albert Einstein

“I am strong, because I know my weaknesses. I am beautiful, because I am aware of my flaws. I am fearless, because I learnt to recognize illusion from real. I am wise, because I learn from my mistakes. I am a lover, because I felt hate. I can laugh, because I have know sadness.” “Genius is talent set on fire by courage.” —Henry Van Dyke

In order to become the greatest version of yourself, you must think like a genius. How can you identify such thinking patterns? If you Google “genius,” the two men who are consistently on the top of the searches are Leonardo da Vinci and Albert Einstein. Both were mathematicians and scientists and both were artists, inventors and experimenters. Da Vinci was most known for his artistry in painting Mona Lisa, The Last Supper and Vitruvian Man, while Einstein was known for developing the general theory of relativity and the mass-energy equivalence formula. Yet, Da Vinci zealously studied math, astronomy, botany and anatomy, while Einstein passionately played the violin. He particularly loved the sonatas by Mozart and Beethoven. What does this say about two of the world’s most acclaimed geniuses? Number one, they were “whole-brained,” which means they cognitively made themselves use the left (math) and the right (creative) hemispheres of their brains. Whole-brain thinkers use the “intellectual, intuitive, instinctive and rational aspects.” Yet it is said that there are many people who had higher IQs than Da Vinci and Einstein, but they did not passionately pursue their curiosities and didn’t have the courage to step out-ofthe-box. Number two, geniuses who change history have the “defy convention gene,” if you will. With this, they are highly noted to have an “open mindedness”

and believed there was something vastly intelligent that created the universe. It is creative and all-knowing; not religious per se, but profound in nature. There’s a constant energy force in which two objects are symmetrical or have an attraction to one another. Da Vinci might well say the positive-negative frequencies are simply the influence light plays on objects, while to Einstein it’s space and time interacting with gravity. Interestingly, Walter Isaacson’s biography on Einstein, denoted Einstein did not like doing math so much, but rather he’d “brainstorm” from the right side of this brain, then workout the details of the math afterward. Da Vinci, on the other hand, would study anatomy and botany endlessly to enhance his artistic skill sets. He said, “Every part of the whole, must be in proportion to the whole...It would have the same thing understood as applying to all animals and plants...Now do you not see that the eye embraces the beauty of the whole world? It counsels and corrects all the arts of mankind...it is the prince of mathematics, and the sciences founded on it are absolutely certain. It has measured the distances and sizes of the stars, it has discovered the elements and their location, it has given birth to architecture and to perspective and to the divine art of painting.” Aside from working both hemispheres of your brain, being passionate about what you pursue and engaging in some sort of out-of-the-box creativity, spend alone time so you may concentrate on something you normally don’t undertake. If you’re knowingly a math person, take up music, drawing or writing poems. If you’re a “rightie,” pick up a book on geniuses who’ve changed the world and try to assimilate their theories or partake in a computer class or something down that line. For certain, the aim is not to make a “genius” out of you, but this does put you in balance mentally. I inadvertently had to do this when I started doing the accounting for my small business. I not only found I quite loved it, but now feel a bit more confident and balanced. Also, by doing something you’ve never done, but always wanted to try, you’ll be stimulating your brain waves, which not only increases your longevity, but unlocks endorphins that positively charge your brain cells. Reportedly, other tendencies highly intelligent people work into their everyday lives are: They see beauty in simple things and love nature. For example, they might see an apple, and think it is wholly magnificent. It’s color is glorious, its shape perfect and its offerings are grand, sweet and unparalleled. In the simplest of things, life

can be celebrated. Dedication and striving for perfection are other traits of the ultra intelligent practice fervently. They aren’t mere bystanders, but contribute positively to the human experience. They seemingly are the archetypes who roll up their sleeves and “get dirty.” At times, however, it’s noted that Ben Franklin and Steve Jobs were master delegators. They’d come up with the precepts and target goals, outline their objectives and hand them over to other geniuses to implement. They were visionaries, who had far-reaching understandings of what would benefit or enhance others’ lives. The two in particular, were revolutionaries who changed the world remarkably. There were excited by their imaginations and the possibilities of what might be. They weren’t limited thinkers, but ones who said, “What if ?” They generally questioned those in authority and liked to have lively debates. They were and are, so opposite the “militant ignorance” of the narcissist who isolates, burns books and controls information; they welcome virtually “everything” to enter their minds, so they may take what’s sound, relative and postulates to the positive production of existence. They are creators. In fact, when you glance at the lists of geniuses in the world, they are thorough goers who welcome diversity, are not intimidated by others and may have had a bit of clairvoyance. Beyond the sight, smell, hear, touch and taste, they could “see” the unseeable. Most have taken their cues from nature, but of course some from theology, society, literature, engineering and the Golden Ratio. Most expectably, those held in high regard for their intelligence read profusely. Einstein said, “Everybody is a genius, but if you judge a fish by its ability to climb a tree, it will live its whole live believing it is stupid.” In other words, you can be a marvel, if adrenalized, determined and in the environment that speaks to you. You can be highly successful if you have goals and know what you want in life. You may not know the answers to everything yet, but your mind yearns for more and your actions need to follow suit. Steve Jobs of Apple Computer believed, according to CNN, “People should never stop learning and should voraciously open their minds to new ideas. One of my mantras: focus and simplicity. Simple can be harder than complex. You have to work hard to get your thinking clean to make it simple. But it’s worth it in the end because once you get there, you can move mountains.” As it was discussed in earlier chapters, “ignorance” is the root of most evil. Evildoers are distinguished by their unwise acts. Being narrow-minded, uninformed and unaware of the world’s unification theories, brings about destructive events.

On the Psychology Today website, I read an article titled Anti-Intellectualism is Killing America. The article was about the recent mass murders in North Carolina. “America is killing itself through its embrace and exaltation of ignorance, and the evidence is all around us. Dylann Roof, the Charleston shooter who used race as a basis for hate and mass murder, is just the latest horrific example. Many will correctly blame Roof ’s actions on America’s culture of racism and gun violence, but it’s time to realize that such phenomena are directly tied to the nation’s culture of ignorance,” wrote David Niose on June 23, 2015. He continued, “We know little about the raw intellectual abilities of Dylann Roof, but we do know that he is an ignorant racist who willfully allowed irrational hatred of an entire demographic to dictate his actions. Whatever his IQ, to some extent he is a product of a culture driven by fear and emotion, not rational thinking, and his actions reflect the paranoid mentality of one who fails to grasp basic notions of what it means to be human.” My heart aches for black Americans right now, for as the Law of One said, “We are all one. When one is harmed, all are harmed.” As Dr. M. Scott Peck said, “It is militant ignorance that drives narcissists” to do violent acts. They don’t give their power to a higher power or consider themselves part of humanity. They only care about their narrow views. They target innocent people, make them into objects (dehumanize them) and destroy them. They don’t create or contribute to the advancement of society; they are the exact opposite of “geniuses,” who know the more they know, the more they don’t know. The scariest part is someone who has “fed their wolf ” and turned into being a full-fledged narcissist, it is said to be untreatable and considered on the level as a retarded person. It’s said one in 25 people have this disorder, so arm yourself with some insights and be aware. (Turn to page 20, and you’ll find ideas on how to deal some.) The world’s problems come from ignorance and narrow-mindedness; the more “we know of this world, the better we are able to use it for our advancement,” said Elbert Hubbard. So, what can you do to be in the higher echelon of thinkers..... read, study, assimilate all you can, cook, play music...you name it. Everyday make it a goal to read a chapter in book you have an interest in and that will expand your horizons. Hubbard eloquently said, “Light stands for literature. The words have common root. Literature tokens intelligence, and intelligence mirrors enterprise, thrift, industrialism. Business at the last is largely a matter of sentiment. The light

seems to give courage, hope, animation and binds people together into a common bond.” Turn off your electronic devices and go experience something first-handedly. Accordingly to Athene’s Theory of Everything, “Whatever brain neurons get stimulated regularly, certain connections become stronger and more efficient, while others may become weaker. This is what’s called neuroplasticity.” The theory goes on to say that virtually everything you do, will strengthen your brain muscle memory. This is why it’s is so important to think good thoughts and do good actions; the more you do, the more you’ll become what you think and the more you’ll believe in yourself and gain a self-awareness. In a toxic relationship? If it’s one by which everything you say or do is criticized get out as it’s very unhealthy mentally and physically for you. Your brain waves literally function at a “defensive” state that wreaks havoc on your spirit, mind and body. On the other hand, if you are in a situation by which you are respected and feel appreciated, all is in harmony. “Social validation increases the levels of dopamine and serotonin in the brain and allows us to let go of emotional fixations and become self-aware more easily,” said Athene’s Theory. According to this theory and Cornell University’s, Getting to Know You: Self-Awareness Is key For High-Performing, Adaptive Teams study, brings us to a nice level of consciousness as it sets intent, lessens “reactions versus encourages responses,”outlines responsibilities and coordination of activities while instilling belief guideposts, values and techniques.” It connects us to our rational selves and induces a nice emotional state. So, as we’ve heard many times before, you are the sum total of your thoughts. What you think and do here and now, will effect what happens to your tomorrow. Your thoughts guide your entire life. So radiate goodness, seek knowledge and you’ll find the genius in you. Leonardo da Vinci said, “The eye, which is called the window to the soul, is the principle means by which the central sense can most completely and abundantly appreciate the infinite works of nature. To me it seems all sciences are vain and full of errors that are not born of experience, mother of all certainty...that is to say, that do not at their origin, middle or end, pass through any of the five senses...where reason is not, its place is taken by clamour. This never occurs where things are certain. Therefore, where there are quarrels, there true science is not...Wherever it is known controversy is silenced for all time.” In prose not nearly as eloquent or deep as da Vinci’s, but an reiteration thereof, go experience the world. dive in Cuba, kayak in Greenland, experience Chile, volunteer at an elephant refuge Thailand, foster a child, go bird-watching. Perhaps trace your ancestral heritage and visit the places your great, great grandparents lived or, you can always eat your way through Europe....Whatever piques your interest, experiencing things is even a greater way to learn than reading. Just as mistakes are brilliant teachers, experiences are the most scholarly way to get enlightened. The world is your oyster, and the pearls are a plenty. Venture outside your box. Over the 25 years of publishing TellurideStyle Magazine, I interviewed and wrote about many well-known personalities. The ones who will always remain in my memory banks are international bestselling author, Clive Cussler; The Shark, Greg Norman; the sole owner of Discovery Channel, John Hendricks; and (retired and now passed) General H. Normal Schwartzkopf. Each of these men had vivacious qualities about them; “go get ‘em” attitudes. They were courageous and had intense moral compasses and standards by which they lived. They were decisive and knew how to get things done. They, too, were major adventurers, who strived to go where few others had gone mentally, spiritually and physically. They were empathetic, compassionate and regularly told jokes. When I provided each with their stories to critique, each would get back with me in hours, if not a day. They were gentlemen and experts in their fields of endeavor. They epitomize(d) genius, too. They discovered the golden key to life was unveiling their authentic selves and being true to the world around them. For a couple of years, my ex and I hung out with Clive and Barbara Cussler. If you don’t know of Clive Cussler, he is one of the all-time bestselling authors in America. He is considered to be an adventure novelist who has been on The New York Times bestseller list more than 20 times. He is the founder of the National Underwater and Marine Agency (NUMA), in which he does what his main character, Dirk Pitt does; he dives for shipwrecks and treasures under the ocean waters around the world. Before interviewing Clive, I had he and his wife over for dinner with several neighbor friends who were more of their age. The conversations where so lively, I turned off the oven intending on reigniting it to finish baking the side dishes. Something went askew. When it came down to having our simple steak and potatoe dinner, the potatoes were not done. I was so very embarrassed. What a faux pas....funny, is all we did is laugh about it through the night. In my estimations, people who make it big generally have a sparkling attitude. They turn lemon into

lemonade in a turn of a button. Before Clive and Barbara had us over to dinner at their incredible home in Telluride, I read several of his books and was most fascinated by The Sea Hunters. His company NUMA brought up more maritime treasures than some governments. In most cases, he was to surrender the treasures to the government in which they excavated the waters. In one case, NUMA had a boat chase with French, in another he landed a bottle of cognac from a submarine they found in the Mississippi River. It was a Civil War sub, so the drink was from the 1850s, and we were graced by them sharing it with us and 12 other people. When we visited them at their house in Paradise Valley, Arizona, he kindly let me, my dad and many others into his office, which was a huge rectangular out-building from his main house. It had more ocean treasures and books on shipwrecks than you could imagine. Clive lived and breathed his passion and was in the place of his ultimate self. He immersed himself so terrifically in the maritime life, that The Sea Hunters earned him a Doctor of Letters degree in 1997. He chased his dreams from being a life-guard in California to being an adventure-thrill writer. He proudly told my father that he’s never used a swear word in any of his novels, which my dad appreciated. As the publisher of the valley’s largest magazine, I was often invited to media parties. In the end of June after an endless press run (we piggy-backed three magazines and for months on end I worked 12 to 15 hour days), we were moving from our Ridgway home to our new ranch on Iron Springs Mesa outside Telluride. I was a bit stressed, overly busy and not one bit prepared for go to the press engagement at the new golf course that opened off Government Springs Road. I was going to bug out, but thought these are loyal clients, I need to go. I only glanced at the invite and assumed at least 20 other press people would be joining in. When I arrived, I found out I was the only one invited. I thought, “Ok, where do we start?” The marketing coordinator got me in a golf cart and showed off all the bells and whistles of the new resort, the golf course, the luxury homes and view corridors in which the Cimarrons, Mt. Sneffels and the LaSals mountains were prominent. We got back to the clubhouse, in sync with a helicopter landing. Ruth Ann said, “Looks like Greg Norman’s here. You ready for the interview?” Holy crap, I thought, who’s Greg Norman? I thought this would be an “mass” interview deal were I could hide behind the skirts of many. I’ve never watched a day of golf in my life and didn’t frankly know then if he was the developer, a celeb or the GM of the project? My eyes bugged out of my head, my nerves were overloaded and I

thought, OMG....what to do, what to do? I calmly asked Ruth Ann to brief me on his background. I didn’t let on I knew not one thing about this fellow. She had a spread sheet on him thankfully. He’s called The Shark? Why would someone want such a name? Well as it turns out The Shark was the world’s number one ranked golfer in the 80 and 90s from Australia, where the Great Whites rule the seas. The metaphor was obvious and a good starting point. Ironically, however, since I’d take more mulligans in one game than Tiger Woods has women, and I didn’t know what a birdie, bogey, break or bunker were....I thought it best to stay clear of sport questions as he’d rightfully be insulted by my “ignorance.” So I had stroke of genius. Since you can find most every stat on the internet anyway, I’d “go personal” and “into his mental prowess.” By asking out-of-left-field questions, I could surely create a story of a different sort. I did bring the pre-set questions I ask most ever one, so I was a little prepared, but nervous as I hadn’t done my normal homework. The “problem” started the second we were introduced. My knees quite literally locked. I could not find my voice. He was nice enough, but he looked just like a great Norman warrior who walked off the pages of a Kathleen Woodiwiss romance novel. Every muscle was ripped, he was tan, well-groomed and his presence was so commanding, it awakened my venereal sensibilities and engendered a desire in me to run! Since I can remember, anytime I felt a real attraction to someone, my pheromones would suffuse all of my nature. My mind, body and soul would go into la la land. I’d turn light-headed and suddenly shy. This was an issue with me as a young girl, too. When I’d see someone I really liked or we’d be playing spin the bottle and a boy picked me, I’d simply flee; a bit of an oddity I know. No guys could catch me either as I was a track superstar back then. Obviously, I kept my you-know-what intact for a long, long time. I beat Mother Nature way back then, I can beat her now, too, I thought. The interview started with Mr. Norman showing me a beautiful map of their vision of new resort community. He’d point to all the projected projects and infrastructures that were going to be built by the Hunt brothers, I believe. While his fingers pointed and glided over the various parts of the colorful map, I didn’t listen to nary a word he said, but just watched his sinewy, muscular arms move across the paper with grace and finesse. Though I very much considered myself a serious writer/ reporter, and I had done so many of these types of “open houses” for the magazine, I knew all the actual facts would be gleaned from the company’s promo sheets;

hence I let the momentum of the imaginations continue. My main imagining was how wonderful it would be to cuddle in his arms. Then I’d think to myself, if this man has the ability to put a tiny little ball, propped atop a wee little stick into a very small hole a hundred or so yards away, and make millions of dollars at it, he must certainly be fantastic at other physical endeavors. Oh yea, my mind was not focused on the subject at hand, or at least in the manner “it” should have been. I think when our primal instincts surface, a visceral glory pervades our souls and we feel more in-tuned with are authentic selves. We feel naked and awakened, which can be scary as we tend to don masks. Only those who you have as certain connectivity with can unveil that part of you. They can cut straight through the BS, and find the true you in a micro-second. I believe Mr. Norman has that power in golf, business and life. I have no doubt Greg Norman would even remember me, but his sea-blue eyes, perfectly chiseled muscles and “I’ll do nothing but the best,” disclosed his keen intelligence, which quite frankly took my breathe away. I was pleased with the story I wrote about Mr. Norman. His sure-fired attitude and national acclaim intrigued me. He wasn’t “just a golf pro,” but vastly more than that as he created an incredible empire. What I liked hearing was the place he most loved to be was in the forest lands of his ranch in Colorado. He drew in nature’s magic and found solace in driving his tractor and working with his hands. To listen to the squirrels argue with the chipmunks, and the songbirds sing their morning welcomes enriched his soul more than high society. Seemingly, from the time he was a young man, he learned from the vibrations of the earth. The ocean was his greatest instructor. And, in the ocean the great whites are atop the food chain because they are agile, focused, determined and continually hone their skills with an non-relenting thirst to be the best. It’s no wonder he took on The Great White Shark as his animal sign. I never met John Hendricks (only spoke to him on the phone), the owner of Discovery Channel, but in writing his story I felt like I knew him well. Mr. Hendrick moved to a small town of Gateway, Colorado, many years ago. While his massive home was being framed in, a group of friends and myself were given a tour. We were told there was to be a giant floor-to-ceiling aquarium of salt-water fish that divided the dining room and kitchen; we were told his upstairs office was to have 50+ televisions and that the turret was to have a spiral column of rare library books until you reached the top where an observatory opened up to the galaxies; we were

told he had a liking for Russian architecture, so the windows were framed in that vernacular; he liked marble and music, so the great room was created with the two in mind; we were told his wife loved to quilt, so he built her a quilting room. Likely only one percent of the earth’s population is able to build a home such as Mr. Hendrick’s. Just imagine creating a fanciful home whereby money isn’t an issue at all, only the limits of one’s imagination. How joyous his life must be and how very much he has earned his passage into the stellar universe only a few achieve. I postulate the “universe” made Mr. Hendricks remarkably successful, because he empowers the masses with knowledge. The Discovery Channel emancipates viewers from a certain level of “ignorance” and connects its 96,589,000 paid viewers with the world around them via science, technology, history and reality television. In providing this service, he is educating and enthralling onlookers. Interestingly, Mr. Hendrick’s vision came to him over three decades ago. He had no money, just the idea to bring the world to the people. So, he approached famous Missourian Walter Cronkite, who he said he didn’t have money, but knew people who did. Those people put up $5 million and started a revolution in “educational programing in the form of cultural and wildlife documentaries, and science and history specials.” See the genius of giving back? The final interview that thrilled me so very much and exposed another type of genius in the world was with General H. Norman Schwartzkopf. The General was one of our country’s most decorated heroes. He was awarded three Silver Star Medals, two Purple Hearts and the Legion of Merit. He was the Commander-inChief, United States Central Command and lead the coalition forces in the Persian Gulf War. I met the General not in Telluride, where we originally planned on the interview, but at the Black Summit in Florida. Here, he had his office decorated with very few things—some family pictures, framed certificates and grizzly bear prints and foot molds. In his spear time, he’d like to go alone into Alaska’s outback and hunt griz. Imagine, predator on predator. Naturally, the one who’d win is not the one with the most muscle, but the one of higher intellect and one with the science of evolution in his holster. In getting to know the General, I believe the thing I learned most, which was his genius, is leadership and esprit de corps. Leadership demands courage, vision, humility, integrity, strategic planning, focus and the cooperation of those you lead. Esprit de corp is a “sense of unity and common interest and responsibilities among a group of persons closely associated in a task, cause or

enterprise.” As a five-star General, he had it all. In his book, It Doesn’t Take A Hero, you’ll continually find he lived by the principles of the Golden Rule, which may seem an oxymoron for someone who specializes in war, but war is a necessary evil sometimes. So, if it’s a must, go at it with all you got. The General, much like Greg Norman, had an absolute, unequivocal nature about him in getting things done swiftly and with perfection. I didn’t experience his nickname, Stormin’ Norman, but could feel his fervor fly off the pages of his book when he was mightily upset about some situations. The one I remember, in particular, was when Vice President Dick Cheney was orchestrating the beginnings of the gulf war without much consult from the military leaders who are incredible well-trained in the tactics and strategies of warfare. For the security of this country and the well-being of others, his stormin’ nature came out, but it damn well should have. What makes a gold medalist a champion in this game of life? What makes them geniuses? Gold medalists generally share a variety of attributes that help fulfill their “onenesses.” Not only are they visionaries who move on their “action energies,” but they have the power of great attitudes, perseverance, motivation, teamwork, live simply, laugh out loud, compromise, speak kindly, trust, practice patience, apologize, be thankful, listen, forgive, and say I love you a lot. All in all, they are balanced and focused. They implement life-codes to achieve personal strength and cope with challenges. Gold medal thinkers know how to flourish in anguished situations, and most often have fluidity, confidence and grit atop on their character traits. They are solid in their predispositions and are true to their convictions, which virtually make them untouchables who have little problems dealing with the dark triad of personality disorders. Ironically, just like in the animal kingdom, man is man’s worst enemy. We are flawed, yet all of us are “transformers of energy” and we can change our stars if you stay positive and look at the suffering a the reason to strive for a better life. Suffering and fear are often useful tools and they make you strive harder, faster and with more focus to pull you out of a “black hole” and into the light of your genius. “To be healthy and sane and well and happy, you must do real work with your hands as well as your head.” The cure for grief is motion. The recipe for strength is action,” wrote philosopher Elbert Hubbard. To harness your beautiful inner-strength, you must take charge of yourself and become self-reliant. You must know you are the sum total of every one of your choices and you are responsible for your inactions

and actions. You should count your lucky stars you’re alive and should fear for nothing if you act in accordance with the Golden Rule and open-mindedness geniuses employ. The more you enhance your skills, learn new things and have exciting adventures, the stronger your footholding in the golden triad (mind, body, spirit) will be. The more well-rounded you become, the more confidence you’ll have and the more love you’ll have in your life. The more you take control of your own destiny and follow your passions, the more empowered you’ll become. Joy’s brilliance will be yours. The Golden Ratio The Physical World

“Wisdom is to the soul, what health is to the body.” “The secret of health for the mind and body is not to mourn for the past, worry about the future or anticipate troubles, but to live in the present moment wisely and earnestly.” —Buddha

Is it possible to find the answer to excellence in human physical health in the Golden Ratio? After all, the Golden Ratio is the divine number by which our very bodies are so perfectly formed. In fact, it is said the whole of nature is derived from the Divine Sequence or the Golden Ratio. What is the Golden Ratio again? It’s a mystical number by which most scientists say the universe is derived. It starts with the number one, then continues as such: 1, 1, 2, 3, 5, 8, 13, 21, 34, 55...into infinity. Each number is added to the one preceding it. “It’s a built-in numbering system to the cosmos,” stated Calvin Dvorsky. Pine cones, tree branches, shells, flower petals, faces, hurricanes, animal bodies and celestial bodies, and so many more life forms’ physical forms are sequenced from this Divine Ratio. From phi, which is the number 1.618, our bodies are sculpted. The ideal human body is divided into four zones. “The top of head to shoulder, shoulder to navel, navel to knee, and knee to base of foot. Each zone is further subdivided into five segments, which are arranged symmetrically within each zone: either following the pattern ABBBA or the pattern ABABA, but always summing up 2A+3B,” stated Adolf Zeising. Other golden proportions are the distance between the finger tips and the elbow; the wrist and the elbow; the shoulder line and the top of the head; the distance between the navel and the top of the head; the distance between the navel and the knee; the distance between the knee and the end of the foot.” It’s quite profound to think the architecture of the human body is built, in essence,

by the formula of the Golden Ratio, which is best diagramed out via the Golden Rectangle in which “the longer side of a and the shorter side of b, when placed adjacent to a square with sides of length a, will produce a similar golden rectangle with longer side a + b and short side a.....phi.” It’s further amazing that scientists claim beauty is also determined by those who are in perfect balance with phi. Beauty is marked by possessing elements of the Divine Number in their facial structures. For example, if your eyes (pupil to pupil) are proportionate to the distance between your eyebrows, (1.618) you’re a regal beaut. That’s not to say that uniquenesses are not looked at favorably, but simply that those who are blessed with the Golden Ratio, are more apt to be deemed beautiful or handsome. Interestingly, the measurement of a great smile, the teeth thereof, is broken into phi. The two front top teeth of a well-designed human smile, measures exactly 1.618, as do the subsequent teeth, minus the one on the opposite side. The length of face over the width of face equals 1.618, while the length of mouth (lips) over the distance of nose again equals 1.618....the formula matters in the physical beauty world and is readily documented. Our DNA, our ear drums, our lungs, our cells are all created from the Divine Section of the Golden Ratio. Initially, it was thought the building blocks of our bodies where cells, later discovered molecules built the cells, then a bit later in history atoms were that by which cells were structured. As technological advancements beset the science world, we came to know that subatomic particles were the cornerstone for a stint, while presently it’s accepted that noodle-like spirals (DNA) are the smallest essence of our beings. These itty, bitty gyrating forms are equal of the Divine Section. This likely will change too as microscopes and our knowledge expands. What I find of particular interest, however, is that present-day science is now going back to what the ancients expressed and that is that the heart, not the brain, is the epicenter of our bodies. “The heart is the psychophysiological center of our lives. It is said to have brain cells, emits oxytocin, the love hormone, and is the key component is accessing our emotions,” stated Sacred Geometry, New Wellness Living. With this finding heart-health is super important for physical and mental health. So, let’s step outside our bodies for a bit, pause the matters of the heart and look to Mother Earth’s gifts, man-made objects and then the sky above as all have the common denominator of the Golden Ratio in their makings. Firstly, remember that Fibonacci’s numbers, which are the numbers of the Golden Ratio, are nature’s numbers, too. Their sequences are found in a variety of plant-life. Trees’ branches,

trees’ leaves, trees’ stems are where some of the most prevalent sequences occur. Even pine and fir cones show the golden elements, while palm and conifer trees have them displayed in their bark. “Phyllotaxies is the study of the ordered position of leaves on a stem. The leaves on this plant are stagged in a spiral pattern to permit optimum exposure to sunlight. If we apply the Golden Ratio to a circle, we can see how it is that countless plants exhibit the Fibonacci qualities,” jwilson.coe.uga.edu. Flowers such as the lily, buttercup rose, delphiniums, aster, daisies and more all have the Fibonacci numbers, too. (One half times one times the square root of five.) Now the world above, the oscillating galaxies filled with stars, moons, planets, solar systems and black holes all have the astonishing Fibonacci spiral sequence in them. Our Milky Way galaxy is made of several spirals. Stars do too. In mathematical terms, the spiral “is a curve which emanates from a central point, getting progressively farther away as it revolves around the point.” There are two and three dimensional spirals that create the spheres in the galaxies. So, with the Golden Ratio being found in so many things in our bodies, plants, architecture and the heavens above, it might wise for us to intellectually capture this information and apply it to our daily lives. For thousands of years it has been in human’s lives—art, music, architecture, financial industry and more...it’s everywhere! It’s said to be found in Leonardo da Vinci’s work, in particular, the Mona Lisa and Last Supper. As disclosed earlier da Vinci recognized the proportions in the human body, plant life and in architecture. In the Sistene Chapel in Vatican City, Michelangelo’s The Creation of Adam is another recognizable usage as “the finger of God touches the finger of Adam precisely at the Golden Ratio point of the width and height of the area that contains them both.” Salvador Dali made is more than apparent in the Sacrament of the Last Supper. The composition of classical music has the Golden Ratio in it as do the construction of the instruments themselves. The Golden Ratio spiral most always includes that of an infant in a womb, with its heart as the center. So, your heart is the first thing to pay attention to on the path to better health. This means eating right, exercising and loving correctly. Next expand your discipline, be with nature more, practice contemplative rest and focus on being action oriented. Improving on these five things in your life, we not only make you more fulfilled but healthier.
