01 ICELAND NORTHERN LIGHTS COMPETITION
Spring 2018 Individual Project Project Location Iceland Skills AutoCAD SketchUp Lumion Photoshop Objective On a given plot of land in a small part of Iceland, create a unique destination that offers views of the Northern Lights throughout various times of the year. A central hub should be available for guests to utilize for food and relaxation, but guest rooms should be mobile so that they can move around the site based on the pattern of the lights.
Concept The Northern Lights have served as an integral part of Iceland’s culture for centuries; they have been the subject of old tales and stories, passed down from generation to generation. They have been a source of pride to the people of Iceland, unifying the country as one. The lights serve as a connective thread, weaving together the past, present, and future. The Hub design offers all of the amenities the guests need within a unique and ethereal environment, including check-in, a coffee bar, playroom, dining area, and sauna. The ribbon-like ceiling element and colored lighting serve as an extension of the Northern Lights.

Mobile Guest Rooms Each Mobile Guest Room is specific to its guest; when the Northern Lights change altitude, so do the colors displayed in the sky. This concept is seen on the exterior of the units, as each unit’s roof correlates with its altitude on the site. Guest units closer to the Hub, for example, have orange and yellow roofs due to their higher elevation on the site. The violet guest unit seen below sits at the lowest point on the

site, correlating with the changing colors of the lights.

02 WORLD OF BEER FLAGSHIP: CHANGI INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT
Fall 2018 Group Project Project Location Changi Airport, Singapore Skills SketchUp Lumion Photoshop Illustrator Brand Research Objective Develop a duty-free flagship store in Shanghai’s Changi International Airport. Known for it’s modern design and high-end retail stores, Changi offers a variety of experiences for people that travel from all over the world. This project focuses on a flagship for World of Beer and its relationship to the world traveler.
World of Beer: Take a Flight around the World An American based tavern company, World of Beer (WOB) has locations in the USA, China, and South Korea. This unique location in Changi International Airport offers a place where people, and beer, can come together from all around the globe.
WOB in Changi offers rotating flights of local and international craft beer. Travelers can sit, sip, and mingle at the bar and near-by drink rail. The featured beers are listed by country and displayed on the map behind the beer tap. The location of the flagship offers a respite from typical shopping and dining experiences, offering a casual and relaxing way of passing time during a layover.
Build Your Own Cooler This unique retail experience allows travelers to customize their own cooler, packed full with their choice of WOB merchandise and international beer that is duty-free and safe for long flights.

03 LIVEWELL COLLABORATIVE
Summer 2017 Individual Project Project Location Cincinnati, OH Skills Revit Sketchup Photoshop Brand Research Objective In a 5000 square foot office, design a flexible and functional space for collaboration that can be easily changed from one large public room to 4 smaller private studios. The space should also offer open seating for permanent employees and co-ops that can also transform to host large test groups.
Concept: Living Well Taking the key themes of collaboration, wellbeing, and confidentiality, the Livewell office blends public and private spaces, while maintaining a strong identity as a sustainable and healthy environment. By implementing live plants overhead, natural materials, and muted earth tones, the space creates a light and open feel that encourages a healthy lifestyle in the workplace. The open collaboration zone is placed near the entry to create an inviting first look into the space. It’s proximity to the kitchen emphasizes the hearth and family values that is strong within the company’s core. The space offers a residential feel with a variety of furniture that makes the office a more comfortable environment.
Flexible Studios With confidentiality serving as a core value in Livewell Collaborative, the need for privacy is extremely important. These flexible studio spaces offer the ability to transform one large open studio into four smaller, private studios through the use of garage doors and mobile white board panels. The variety of furniture creates a sense of variety that can help foster a more creative environment to solve problems for clients.

04 MUSIC VENUE AT THE BANKS GBBN ARCHITECTS
2019 Team Project Project Location Cincinnati, OH Skills Revit Enscape SketchUp Photoshop Trend Research InDesign Client Proposals Objective Located at The Banks in downtown Cincinnati, this 4,500 seat music venue is designed to connect people to music and to the city of Cincinnati itself. The space will offer an exciting venue that also feels intimate for both patrons and performers.
Contributions Although most of the interiors of this project are confidential, I contributed to a significant amount of work to the overall design and aesthetic of the lobby, concessions, restrooms, and other spaces within the venue. I was responsible for design development and construction documentation drawings, as well as material and finish selection. For this venue, the overall feel is edgy and exciting, encouraging movement in the space through the use of oxblood red walls and floors at egress points. Drawing inspiration from classic rock and roll imagery and music itself, this venue creates a unique and intimate experience for people of all backgrounds to experience music.
05 LA SENZA REBRAND L BRANDS
Summer 2018 Team Project Project Location Lombard, IL Skills AutoCAD Photoshop InDesign Objective In an effort to help re-brand La Senza stores across the globe, I worked alongside two Interior Designers to render elevations and put together client presentations. For this process, I helped create elevations in AutoCAD and render materials in Photoshop, which were then sent to graphic design consultants.

06 GENERAL OFFICES FOR LOCAL BANK BHDP ARCHITECTURE
Fall 2017 Team Proposal Project Location Cincinnati, OH Skills SketchUp Lumion Photoshop Trend Research InDesign Client Proposal Project 1: Wealth Management Suite Within the central Headquarters of a major bank, create a sophisticated and branded Wealth Management suite that emphasizes trust and community. The space should feel comfortable for guests, while also promoting confidentiality for the bank’s most valued customers.
Contributions For this space, I assisted with creating customized millwork pieces, as seen in the reception area above, as well as overall material selection. I created fastpaced renders using SketchUp, Lumion, and Photoshop.
Project 2: General Office Within the same Headquarters, create a fun and inspiring office space for young talent. The space must encourage creativity and collaboration while reinforcing brand standards. For this space, I collaborated with a senior Interior Designer to select furniture and materials and took initiative in implementing design decisions within the open office area and kitchenette (as pictured). The spaces shown utilize color and texture to create a bright and exciting office environment that complements the other spaces within the rest of the building.
07 OFFICE FOR GLOBAL COMPANY BHDP ARCHITECTURE
Fall 2017 Team Project Project Location Al Khobar, Saudi Arabia Skills Revit Lumion Photoshop Objective Design an office that reflects the bright colors of Al Khobar, while still providing functional spaces that can be used and transformed over time. For this project, I took the lead in space planning, material and furniture selection, and overall modeling of the space. This symmetrical design required separate wings for men and women and encouraged a heightened awareness of design trends and standard practices.
