The McTurkey features a 6-ounce ground turkey patty flavored with onions, peppers, and special seasonings on a sesame seed bun with mayonnaise, pickles, lettuce and tomato. The calorie count weighs in at only 450 calories and 12 grams of fat with mayonnaise or 370 calories and 6 grams of fat withough mayonnaise. The McTurkey Sandwich costs $2.59. President and CEO of McDonald’s Corporation Don Thompson, said, “The McTurkey Sandwich will provide a healthier, tasty alternative to our quality red meat burgers. IKEA’s city location is set to open at 600 W. Roosevelt Road in the South Loop on March 1, 2015. The new Chicago city location is IKEA’s third store in the Chicago area, following success with its suburban stores in Schaumburg and Bolingbrook, Ill. The new store is IKEA’s 303rd location globally. It will feature three levels with 500,000 sq. ft. of retail space. Helen Duphorn, head of Corporate Communications at The IKEA Group, said, “IKEA has been very successful in the Chicago area. We have decided to establish roots within Chicago to accommodate our valued Chicago city customers.” #

Each evening of the event will feature 20 separate performances with more than 200 students involved. President and CEO of Columbia College Chicago, Dr. Kwang-Wu Kim, said, “The Big City Dance-A-Palooza will showcase the skills and strength of the Columbia College Chicago dance program and our students.” Performances will take place every hour from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m. each evening at the Columbia College Dance Center located at 1306 S.
