Tip: Try to keep your tension on your thread tight.

Step 1 For a basic right angle weave design, choose the colors you want to work with. For this technique, I have choosen four colors - color A, color B, color C, and color D.

Step 2 Cut a piece of thread about 8 feet long. Thread your needle to the middle of the thread. This will allow you to use double thread which will make your finished piece stronger.

Step 3 Use Thread Heaven to condition your thread. This will help prevent fraying.

Step 4 String 4 beads onto your thread (A, B, C, D).

Step 15 To begin the next row of 4bead units, go through bead B.

Step 16 Add 3 beads (C, D, A).

Step 17 Go back through bead B.

Step 18 Go through bead C, bead D, then bead A.

Step 36 Go through bead D.

Step 37 Add 2 beads (A, B).

Step 38 Go back through bead C.

Step 42 Go through bead A and bead B. This will complete the third row. To continue, repeat pattern from step 16 through 42 until you have reached your desired length.
