A Note From The Editor Your niche is vital to your career in the book business. Publishing a book is one thing; however, selling your book as a product is another. Before you start writing think about your audience. What is the market that is demanding your book? Who are the consumers that will purchase your book?
Writing one book may be sufficient for some while others should think about writing a book and publishing year after year, create a series of a story that keeps unfolding, and write a novel and then a sequel. Do whatever you need to, to keep your audience wanting more.
There are some who just want to write and publish and that is alright as long as you realize that your book may not sell to the masses.
The book business is a lucrative business. Make connections and network with those who knows that business is business.
For those who realize that they want to sell millions of copies and want to be on The New York Times速 Best Sellers list will write for what is in demands. Certain book genres are accepted in particular circles. Children may like magic and fantasy imaginary writings, while adults may like romance, comedy, and religious writings. Find out who your audience is and then feed them. Once you build a platform continue making a name for yourself and reach your audience with fresh and new content.

v Setup a website where people can purchase your book directly from your site; v Create an Excel spreadsheet to keep track of how many books you sold and at what price; v Also, keep track of the books you give away; v Any expenses pertaining to the books/events, keep track of (mileage and receipts); v Have an Accountant / Tax Preparer file the proper documentation in regards to moneys that you have made minus what you had to spend so that your taxes will be filed properly; v Find schools (grammar schools, high schools, and Universities) that will require their students to read your book for a class project; v Create business cards with your front cover of your book on one side while info. of how to contact you is on the other to pass out as a marketing tool; v Build your social media platform with your book information on it, letting viewers know how to purchase your book; and v There are so many great ideas to come up with, sit and contemplate what will work best for you and your book.

When Jesus walked this earth, there were many that came against Him, He prayed and set a consistent quiet time with Me to loose and release His cares. Truly, you must give your cares to Me. I will make right what your enemies do to you. I see all, I know all, and yes, I am merciful to your enemies ... to a point. If they do not repent, they will reap the harvest born of hurting you ... not only that, but they will see My unlimited favor upon you. The more they attack, the more favor I will release. Forgiveness is the key to having your enemies walk in peace with you. The physical body is meant to only carry a healthy amount of stress ... a level that motivates you to action ... but not so much that it makes you sick physically. My people are under great stress right now and I hear their groaning ... just as when they were in Egypt ... and now just as then I will bring them out.

Writing Tip: When you are writing and you are referring to your parents, grandparents, aunt, uncle, etc. you would initial cap the pronoun (i.e., Mother, Mom, Daddy, Dad, Grandma, Grandpa, Aunt, Uncle, etc.). Writing Tip: Write your outline of the manuscript of where the story will start. The paths the characters will take, and how they got to the end of the story. Create a story board of a timetable building your story from one scene after another. Each scene should move the story into new places.
Writing Tip: Building Characters: Create characters that are likeable and others that are not. Give each character a distinct dialect that the reader will know who is talking.

eBooks are electronic books that can be read on electronic devices. I downloaded the Kindle (Amazon) and the Nook (Barnes & Noble) Apps and started ordering books to read on my Android. I can hold numerous books on one device. One can also purchase a Tablet, Kindle or Nook to order electronic books to read. Generation Y is more computer literate. They are the future that prefers to work in a fast pace environment. In the book business, publishers should already have books formatted for electronic devices to be a marketable publishing house. Stay
abreast to what is in the market and how the industry is advancing. There are still consumers who like to read books in hard back and paper back format. When McClure Publishing, Inc. first started in the publishing business, an older man who was 89 years old, told me to keep our books available to those who do not work on computers. This is also wise advice. Create marketing solutions that are for all ages and all people. This way you will be able to have books formatted for everyone.

Often times when people have become successful and have gotten into a certain place, they come away from new ideas and fresh content believing that what they did before will always work. We have to continually keep Emerging from a certain place letting others see our creativity. Even re-creating what worked before, is always better. Ingredients: 3-4 medium to large sweet potatoes 1/4 cups water 1 1/2 cups sugar 4 Tablespoons butter (1/2 stick) 2 teaspoons vanilla 1 teaspoon nutmeg Pinch of salt
Directions: Wash and peel sweet potatoes. Slice them into 1/2 inch medallions. Bring water, butter and sugar to a slow boil in large skillet to melt sugar. Add sweet potatoes tossing lightly to coat. Reduce heat, add nutmeg, salt and vanilla and simmer for about 35-45 minutes, stirring occasionally so potatoes don't stick until potatoes are cooked and candied.

Aunt Tawanda's By Dora Sanders Hill *Disclaimer: Aunt Tawanda never would actually give me her recipe. But I've watched her make it enough and this is "my" version of the macaroni and cheese she makes that we all love! Ingredients: 2 cups raw pasta (elbows, shells, or penne, etc.) 4 tablespoons butter melted 2 1/2 cups milk 2 large eggs 1/2 teaspoon onion powder 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder 1/4 teaspoon nutmeg 1/2 teaspoon salt 2 cups shredded Mexican Cheese Blend, or shredded Cheddar divided use 12oz Velveeta Cheese (cut into cubes) Non Stick Pan spray

Preheat oven to 375 F. Coat a 2-quart casserole dish with cooking spray. Cook the pasta in salted boiling water until a bit firmer than al dente. Drain and place in prepared casserole dish. Pour melted butter over pasta and toss. While pasta is cooking, whisk together milk, eggs, onion powder, garlic powder, nutmeg, and salt. Pour milk mixture over buttered pasta. Add 1-1/2 cups shredded cheese and 2 cups of cubed Velveeta. Stir to combine. Top with remaining 1/2 cup shredded cheese Bake for 30 to 40 minutes, until top is lightly browned. Let it rest 15 minutes before serving.

Often called the language of the universe, mathematics is vitally important and has made an impact in our modern day society. There is a MATHEMATICIAN who has risen far above whom some consider the best; Isaac Newton, the inventor of calculus, and Euclid, the father of geometry. No ONE can compare or out do the work of mathematics when it comes to GOD. When HE does a DIVISION, HE does an ADDITION, which at times can be far beyond what the human mind can conceive or understand. When HE separated (divided) light from darkness, on the fourth day HE ADDED lights in the expanse of the sky to serve as signs to mark seasons, days and years. HE was creating time. You see HE does things in an orderly fashion. GOD created time before HE made man; man couldn't trace history if we didn't have time. When something is being SUBTRACTED from your life, whether it is 1) a loved one who has died, 2) business failure, 3) loss of job, 4) loss of home due to foreclosure, 5) ministry has decreased in size, 6) inventions didn't succeed, 7) loss of land and possessions, and 8) relationships and marriages have been severed, God always makes it better. Understand that when there is a SUBTRACTION, GOD will do a MULTIPLICATION!

Look at Job, a man blameless and upright; he feared GOD and shunned evil (Job 1:1). Job had 7,000 sheep, 3,000 camels, 500 yoke of oxen and 500 donkeys, and a large number of servants. He was the greatest among all the people of the east. ALL of these things were taken (subtracted) from Job. BUT THE LORD blessed the latter part of Job's life more than the first. HE gave Job 14,000 sheep (multiply x's 2), 6,000 camels, 1,000 yoke of oxen and a thousand donkeys! So, when it appears everything around you is falling apart and you lost everything you had, keep in mind GOD is a GOD of restoration, a GOD of abundance, a GOD of increase, and a GOD of overflow! When HE replaces what you have lost, HE will give YOU better quality than what YOU had before. NO WHERE in the land were there found women as BEAUTIFUL as Job daughters. They came back looking better than they did before! GOD always ADDS HIS finishing touches to the work HE does. OUR GOD IS AN AWESOME GOD!!! No man can count like HIM, even the hair on your head is numbered. HE can ADD the love you have for HIM and get a percentage. There are 27 letters in the Alphabets and each one holds a position for a significant reason. L-O-V-E O-F G-O-D equals 12+15+22+5+15+6+7+15+4=101% HE always comes out on top!

Writing Tip: Write each chapter where a problem must be solved. Toward the middle of the book, write the story where it seems as if the problem has increased and the characters cannot solve the problem. Have each character give their opinion of how to solve the problem although what they come up with will not work. In the end, SOLVE THE PROBLEM!!!
