Botanical Beauty There’s nothing so glam as an old-school garden party, and this sophisticated suite, created for a wedding at the Cheekwood botanical garden and museum of art (cheekwood.org), in Nashville, foretells just such a fête. A fern motif evokes the estate’s lush grounds without skewing overly feminine or floral, while the black-and-cream card and calligraphy are pure elegance. Isle Style Rum drinks, white-sand beaches, reggae music—we’re getting warmer just thinking about a tropical soirée at Jamaica’s iconic GoldenEye (goldeneye.com), once home to James Bond scribe Ian Fleming. Taking a color cue from the hotel’s décor and vibrant native foliage, this flat-printed suite was illustrated with local vegetation and fruit. The playful concept extended to the reception menu, a Caribbean feast. TH E DETAILS: Happy Menocal Studio custom suite, price upon request, happymenocal.com.

Urban Planning One of the beautiful things about marrying in a city is that architectural marvels abound. If your venue is one such gem, look to its decorative details for inspiration. Classic Beaux-Arts features (tiled floors, black-and-white marble, symmetry) from the Art Institute of Chicago (artic.edu) provided a framework for this handsome invitation. And like the museum—which includes the Modern Wing as well—the suite also incorporates of-the-moment methods, like flat printing, for the best of both old and new. Southwestern Spirit We’re drawing a line in the sand: a glittering gold line, that is. Inspired by desert-chic resort Amangiri (aman.com), in Utah’s canyonlands, this contemporary invitation incorporates the sienna, rust, and taupe hues of the arid landscape and the sunny glint of copper foil. Debossed shapes bring to mind the distinctive layers of desert rocks, while the simple font suits Amangiri’s clean architectural lines. T HE DETAI LS : K. Rawson custom suite, price
