NOTIFICATION POST A notification post is an announcement. It let’s the customers know of any important messages you have pertaining to your shop such as sales, hours, or other important information of note. For example, “We are Moving.... or Now Open on Sundays!” Keep your message short and elaborate further (if need be) down in the caption. These posts should be created with solid background of the DARK FRENCH BLUE (#1F4A55). Only the house logo or social iconography should be used here. No photographs or additional imagery. Keep it simple.
COLLABORATION POST
A collaboration post is a announcement post letting your audience know what brand or vendor you’re partnering or promoting. For example, “Archambault Interiors X “Brand”. These posts should be created with solid background of the CLAY (#ebe ae6) x the ICONOGRAPHY OR LOGO of the brand you’re promoting or partnering with. Only the house logo or social iconography should be used here. No photographs or additional imagery. Keep it simple.

IMAGE POST Image posts should represent the brand in style and in imagery. Whether it’s an image used from a vendor/distributor, flat lay, something that is inspiring, or one of the shop the photography should project your brand and what it represents...old world, modern, and original. STAY CONSISTENT with your imagery in color and style. Refrain from using text on images. Let the images represent what is in the caption Image size should be 4:5 ratio (1080 x 1350 px). Refrain from using ‘square’. Crop in imagery if need be. Alternate your Instagram grid with close up imagery and “whole room” or faraway images (see example below).
Images selected for a flat lay should be used when showcasing multiples of product or perhaps using as a giveaway feature. Chose a backdrop that is similar in brand colors or has a minimal design to maintain focus on the items
Images selected from vendor/distributor should represent your brand. If one is not available, try photographing the item in a way that does represent your company. Keep the description of the item short and to the point. Add or offer ways for customer use of product. Include website or suggest “visiting link in profile” to learn more or purchase. Always include a few tags at the bottom of the post. Images selected for use as inspiration should represent your brand. They assist in telling your brands story by evoking the environment you’ve established. Make sure TO CREDIT your source. For example, “We just love a cafe moment...” image by “name”

POSTS
Design posts should be image centric with text leading the way in the cap tion ONLY. Do not post type on top of imagery as it is not representative of the brand. Images selected should be reflective of your brand (as in your actual work) with a mix of images that inspire you and perhaps why they do.
Design posts should be focused around what is inspiring to you as a designer and design team, before/afters, as well as any informational content (such as how-tos) that you can offer the client.
Select multiple images showing the before and afters of projects. Make sure to use professional images as the cover image (as that would be rep resentative of your brand) in the collection.
Choose images that inspire you and share with you followers. Explain why they inspire you.
Focus on showcasing products or lines that represent your design studio and what you strive for your clients. Use cropped in imagery from current projects or vendors...or perhaps it’s a faraway image of a collection you’re currently loving within a customer’s home.
