BOSTON UNIVERSITY ART GALLERY SPRING 2016 For this studio semester, two interior designers and two architects were paired together to design an art gallery for Boston University. In this challenging studio, we took advantage of the gorgeous light wells on the fifth floor and placed the art along them. We designed a light diffusing system that deflects the light from destroying the paintings.

B.U.N.D. OFFICE SPACE SUMMER 2015 B.U.N.D. (Friends of Earth) is a German volunteer organization located in Berlin that works to protect the environment. To capture the identity of this organization, I developed the abstract concept of “Hot and Cold to express design decisions in material use, public circulation, and private space.

SOUTH BOSTON RESIDENTIAL SPACE FALL 2015 This semester we were given the task to transform an abandoned church into a three person family home. I created the concept of transition through space by use of light and dark materials to capture private verses shared space. Both private and shared spaces share a dark wood flooring. The shared spaces are a neutral color while the private spaces are filled with color.

ADDITIONAL WORK Outside of studio, I love to draw and sketch, along with landscaping and refurbishing old furniture. Here are some examples of some of my favorite projects I have done throughout the years.

STUDY ABROAD SUMMER 2015 The summer of 2015, spanning from May to July, I had the incredible opportunity to study Interior Design in Berlin, Germany. Within these three months I embraced the culture and history of other countries and discovered how these ultimately effect design and architecture. This prospect broadened my views on universal and sustainable design.
