PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE SYNCHRONICITY August 2017 to December 2017 Worked as an architectural intern to assist in the design and production of various small scale projects in the office including residences, restaurants, and a brewery. Developed asbuilt drawings, construction documents, and Sketchup models. OVERLAND PARTNERS July 2015 to June 2016 Worked as an architectural intern to assist in the design of various projects in the U.S. and around the globe. The majority of these projects were in concept and schematic design phases. Developed physical and digital models, created renders, AutoCad drawings, and project presentations. ENGINEERING MINISTRIES INTERNATIONAL May to August 2014 Volunteered as an architectural intern on a team of architects and engineers in Kampala, Uganda. Aided in the documentation of the existing campus and the design of a seminary master plan for 2020. Developed renders, AutoCad drawings, and produced the final project report.

RELATED EXPERIENCE MEDWAY PARK PAVILION August to December 2017 Worked in collaboration with the Charleston Parks Conservancy to design and build a pavilion and storage unit to meet the needs of a local community garden. CLEMSON DESIGN/BUILD THEATER January to May 2017 Worked in collaboration with fellow graduate students to design and build a theater installation in Summerton, SC. Adapted a building system created by previous Clemson students called Sim[PLY]. This system uses CNC cut plywood pieces that fit together with notches and tabs. Instead of nails, stainless steel zip-ties reinforce the connections. GRADUATE ASSISTANTSHIP August 2016 to May 2017 Worked in collaboration with professor Dan Harding and a fellow graduate assistant to design an archive of innovative community design and reserch projects completed at Clemson. The intent of this Collaborative Student Adaptive Warehouse (CSAW) has been to fill a void witnessed in current efforts in interdisciplinary engagement for students. ART ON THE ATLANTA BELTLINE COMPETITION January to May 2015 Worked with a group in a digital fabrication lab to design a bench for the Beltline Art Competition. Completed a mock-up of the bench and delivered a proposal for the design. Selected as a design winner. HISTORY OF ART AND ARCHITECTURE PROGRAM May to June 2013 Traveled through several cities in Italy and Greece while taking courses in the history of art and architecture. Completed individual student research project focusing on the Punta Della Dogana. Gave presentations, photographed sites, sketched.

SERVICE EXPERIENCE

CANSTRUCTION September 2015 Assisted in the design and construction of a colossal structure built with cans of food. Cans were all donated to charity. Received award for Structural Ingenuity. KING OF KINGS PRESCHOOL June to August 2014 Volunteered to teach a class of young children in Kamapala, Uganda. Created lesson plans, read books, and coordinated activities.
