Back to the basics Aromatherapy is the practice of using the natural oils extracted from flowers, bark, stems, leaves, roots or other parts of a plant to enhance psychological and physical well-being. The inhaled aroma from these "essential" oils is widely believed to stimulate brain function. It is used for a variety of applications, including pain relief, mood enhancement and increased cognitive function. There are a wide number of essential oils available, each with its own healing properties. When choosing oils, you may wish to try many different aromas to see how you personally react to each oil.



Get up and moving Essential oils are commonly used for energizing and invigorating. Here are some oils you may want to try if you need a bit of a pick-me-up: - Peppermint - Eucalyptus - Ginger

Let’s slow down If you’re feeling tense, angry or frustrated, maybe your mind just needs a little TLC. Treat it to one of these oils: - Lavendar - Jasmine - Roman chamomile - Clary Sage - Sandalwood
