Inspired... Getting Ready For Your Session

WHAT’S YOUR STYLE?

Styling Your Session To Reflect Who You Are. I Love Fashion. If Someone Asked Me To Describe My Style, I Would Say My Taste Is Inspired By Natural Elements, Earthy Jewel Tones, And Clean Lines With A Bit Of A Bohemian Twist. I Have A Funky Haircut That I Like To Rock Out A Bit More On The Weekends. My Favorite Outfit Is A Pair Of Great Fitting Dark Wash Jeans, My Corral Custom Cowboy Boots, And A Cute Shirt With A Great Neckline That Accentuates My Face And Compliments My Body Type. My Favorite Stores Are Anthropologie, Ruche, Banana Republic And Quirky Boutiques. I Don’t Wear A Lot Of Jewelry, But If I Do, I Like Long Interesting Necklaces With Vintage Pendants, Drop Earrings, And Cuff Bracelets. I Like Wedge Heels And A Great Pair Of Boots. That’s Me, Now How About You? What Inspires Your Style Philosophy? Before Coming To Your Shoot, Look Through Your Closet And Think About What Articles Of Clothing You Love. Dress Yourself, Your Significant Other, Your Kids, And Your Entire Family To Reflect Who You Are; Just Make Sure You Bring The Best Version Of You In Front Of That Camera!

There Could Never Be A More Beautiful You... ~ Jonny Diaz

“Create your own style… let it be unique for yourself and yet identifiable for others.” ~Anna Wintour

“Elegance is a glowing inner peace. Grace is an ability to give as well as to receive and be thankful. Mystery is a hidden laugh always ready to surface! Glamour only radiates if there is a sublime courage & bravery within: glamour is like the moon; it only shines because the sun is there. ~ C. JoyBell C.

MAKE-UP, HAIR, AND GROOMING Tips To A Great Shoot! 1. INTEREST: You Are Not One-Dimensional, So Bring A Variety Of Looks, But Make Sure You Bring At Least 1 “Dressy” Type Of Outfit. If You Don’t Love It, Don’t Bring It. If It Doesn’t Make You Feel Great When You Wear It, Leave It At Home! 2. ACCESSORIES: Bring Accessories For All Outfits; Footwear, Jewelry, And Hair Pieces Complete The Outfit! Full Body Shots Are Always A Possibilty, So Make Sure Your Shoes Are Clean And That Both Socks Match! Lol! We’ll Choose The Items That Best Compliment Your Outfit Without Overpowering You. 3. SIMPLICITY: Be Careful Of Clothing With Words Or Designs, Stripes Or Pictures, Except Possibly Your School Logo. You Want Your Face, Eyes And Expression To Be What People Focus On, Not The Blazing Emblem On That Band T-Shirt. Also, Consider What Will Date A Picture. When You Look At That Image In 20 Years, Do You Really Want To Say “I Can’t Believe I Wore That!!!”? If Family And Friends Are Going To Be Included, Wear Clothes That Compliment (But Don’t Necessarily “Match” Eachother). Consider Color Families And Overall Style Moreso Than Making Sure Everyone Has The Same Articles Of Clothing On. 4. BODY TYPE: I Love Trends As Much As The Next Person, But That Doesn’t Mean Those Trends Look Good On My Body Type. Wear Things That Enhance Your Best Features And Downplay Those “Problem Areas” That We Might Have. I Will Guide You To Look Your Best In Your Pictures, But Wearing The Right Clothing Not Only Helps You Look Your Best, It Helps You Feel Confident! 5. GROOMING: Your Photoshoot Is An Investment In A Lot Of Ways, So You Want To Look Your Best. I Work With An Amazing Make-Up And Hair Artist Who Will Make You Look And Feel Great...But, She Can’t Do Everything. Make Sure Your Facial Hair And Eye Brows Are Groomed, Your Nails Are Cleaned Up, Your Hair Is Clean, And Your Skin And Lips Are Moisturized. If You Have Tan Lines, Try To Bring Outfits That Will Hide Them, Or Try To Even Them Out So They Aren’t Distracting. And No Worries, I Will Take Care Of Any Temporary Blemishes You Might Have.

Pro Tip: If You Don’t Love The Way You FEEL When You Wear It, Don’t Bring It!
