Passive Solar Heating Using a combination of Passive Solar architectural features in the academic buildings, it is possible to achieve nearly 100% indoor thermal comfort and Passive Solar Heating in the winters, using well-designed windows` and shading devices, makes it possible to reduce heating demand by more than 80%
Landscape strategy Minimum cement based landscape. Water percolation techniques are to be employed in the landscape

Contours Planning The proposal takes care of minimum cut and fill of contours at site level by providing stilt like spaces for utilities and parking, reducing the risk of flash floods.
Architectural and Structural Planning – Site Planning %
INDIRECT EVAPORATIVE COOLING
Placement of building blocks as per solar incidence Deriving from the concept of local street. The building can be placed parallel. The Planning must ensure that the south façade of every building block remain exposed to the direct sunlight throughout the year. Hence the min. street width is not less that 7.6 m to achieve the desired planning.
