THE INTENTION OF THIS TREATMENT FACILITY IS TO CONTROL THE PANDEMIC SITUATION ALL OVER THE COUNTRY BEGINNING WITH SMALLER TOWNS. THIS TREATMENT FACILITY WILL BE ACCESSIBLE FROM ALL PARTS OF THE TOWN AS IT IS CENTRALLY LOCATED AND ALSO FOLLOWS CERTAIN SOCIAL DISTANCING NORMS WHICH WOULD PREVENT THE SPREAD OF THE VIRUS TO A CERTAIN EXTENT. THE STRUCTURE FOLLOWS A CERTAIN IDEA WHERE 8 CABINS ARE SEPARATED WITH CERTAIN DISTANCE CONNECTING TO THE CENTRAL PASSAGE WHICH IS BASED ON THE IDEA OF SEPARATION AND PREVENTION OF VIRUS TRANSMISSION IN THE FACILITY 1: MEDICAL FACILITY

PROJECT 2: UNIFIED

THIS PROJECT PROPOSED IN AMSTERDAM FOR 5-15 AGED STUDENTS IS BASED ON THE IDEA OF CREATING A LEARNING SPACE THAT ACTS AS AN ESSENTIAL CENTER IN THE NEIGHBORHOOD. THIS PROJECT CONSISTS OF AN EXHIBITION SPACE INTEGRATED WITH LEARNING SPACES TO BRING THE COMMUNITY INSIDE AND TURN THE SPACE INTO AN ICONIC HUB OF THE NEIGHBORHOOD. THIS PROJECT CONSISTS OF ATTIC MODULES ABOVE CLASSROOMS FOR MAJOR MULTI-FUNCTIONAL ACTIVITIES AND THE STRUCTURE OF THE ATTIC MODULE IS REFLECTED SYMMETRICALLY TOWARDS THE EXHIBITION SPACE CREATING A HUGE DOUBLE-HEIGHT SPACE FOR COMMUNITY ENGAGEMENT AND ALSO AN INTEGRAL SPACE TO EXHIBIT STUDENTS’ WORK. PROJECT 3: THE PLATFORM

PROJECT “PLATFORM” FUNCTIONS AS A MULTI-PLATFORM VIEWING DECK WHERE FIVE PLATFORMS ARE STRETCHED ON A CURVED TRUSS WHICH IS A SPACE FRAME STRUCTURE CANTILEVERING UP TO 15M AWAY FROM THE FORT WALL. EACH PLATFORM HAS DIFFERENT SIZES AND THE SURFACE AREA GOES ON DECREASING AS ONE ARRIVES ON TO THE TOP PLATFORM OF THE DECK. CENTRAL STAIRCASE ALIGNS ITSELF IN THE MIDDLE OF EACH PLATFORM AND REACHES OUT TO THE TOP PLATFORM. TRUSS IS PURELY MADE OF TUBULAR STEEL WHERE PRE-FABRICATED STEEL TRIPOD MODULES SIT ON THE TRUSS WITH PIN JOINTS. TENSILE CABLES RUN THROUGH THE TOP HOLDING EACH MODULE WITH THE CURVE. THIS PROJECT HAD A BEGINNING THROUGH THE PROCESS OF TRANSFORMATION WHICH CAN BE DEFINED AS ABSTRACTION WHERE A NATURAL OBJECT WAS TAKEN AS AN INSPIRATION TO BUILD 2D AND 3D DIAGRAMS/MODELS WHICH MADE PROGRESS TOWARDS BRINGING OUT AN ESSENTIAL FORM WHICH IS EXPLORED STRUCTURALLY TO A LARGE EXTENT.

PLAN SECTION AA’ SECTION BB’

THIS STUDY INCLUDES UNDERSTANDING THE SPACES SURROUNDING US AND PAYING ATTENTION TO EACH AND EVERY SUBTLE DETAIL IN OUR DAILY LIFE AND CAPTURING IT THROUGH SENSES. THE PROJECT OF “WATER PAVILION” EMERGED THROUGH THE UNDERSTANDING OF THE SITE AND BUILDING THE SITE RELATIONSHIP WITH WATER AND MAKE IT MORE AFFECTIONATE FOR THE USER INSIDE THE “WATER PAVILION”. THIS IS BASICALLY A PUBLIC SPACE WHICH IS PRESENT JUST BESIDE A SMALL STREET AND PACKED NEIGHBOURHOOD WHICH ALLOWS PEOPLE TO GATHER AND RELAX INSIDE AND FEEL AFFECTIONATE TO THE WATER SPACES PRESENT INSIDE AND ENJOY THE CANOPY THROUGH THE INVERTED ROOF AND ALSO VIEW THE BEAUTIFUL SCENIC VIEW OF WATER POURING DOWN FROM INVERTED HIPPED ROOFS DURING RAINS. Integrated Water spaces Site Location: Gokul Nagar, Hyderabad. Materials: Concrete, Steel, Wood and Poly-Carbonate sheet for roofing

GROUND FLOOR PLAN ROOF PLAN SITE SECTION

A public space which is present just beside a small street and packed neighbourhood which allows people to gather and relax inside and feel affectionate to the water spaces present inside and enjoy the canopy through the inverted roof and also view the beautiful scenic view of water pouring down from inverted hipped roofs during rains. This Structure stands on concrete footings with the help of steel poles and the concrete is casted above steel poles and the wooden trellis roof is made to stand upon the concrete parapet wall. Spiral staircase has been provided which takes to the rooftop providing a proper view of the site. Two modules of the roof structure are trellis where it is not covered for the canopy whereas other three modules are inverted acting like funnel which would channel the rainwwater into the water spaces present on the ground. The inverted roof structures are supported by wooden framework held by a specific joinery near the concrete wall above.
