01. MS GROUP OFFICE TYPE: LOCATION:
OFFICE DESIGN DOWNTOWN VANCOUVER
The overall mood of MS Group’s office design is natural, fresh and simple. My intent was to create a contemporary, casual, functional and welcoming space. MS Group is a high-technological, knowledgeable and reputable firm in Canadian mining industry. Therefore, I wanted to visualize and emphasize their outstanding corporate identity in its space. The use of natural and solid materials such as stone and wood will provide inviting, comfortable and reliable feeling to the clients. Traditional enclosed rooms or cubicles will be minimized.

RESIDENTIAL DESIGN WEST VANCOUVER, BC
1ST STORY FLOOR PLANS Not to Scale
This modern two story residence sits on a beautiful mountain hill in West Vancouver, overlooking a stunning view of Fraser River and Downtown Vancouver area. Homeowners Benjamin and Catherine Baker has two kids and they need to renovated their home to suit their growing needs. Recently, the guest bedroom has become an important part of the home’s living spaces due to occasional visits from Benjamin’s out-of-town mother and visiting friends and relatives from Benjamin’s homeland of Columbia. Also, Catherine is a pastry instructor and has been conducting classes at home. Therefore, she requires a bigger functional kitchen. My goal was to create a unique and inviting space that works within the necessities of Baker family’s life style. The overall design will incorporate timelessly elegant French Country Style with clean modern touches.

Since the kitchen is a crucial part of Baker’s living spaces, it has abundant room for cooking and entertaining. The L-shaped island is perfect for Catherine’s baking classes where she can comfortably demonstrate procedures. Built-in ovens and microwave provide more counter space and add contemporary touch. A large pantry gives sufficient room for storage. French country motifs are used in the cabinetry accentuating elegant features.
