Hello friend!
"Our deepest fear is not that we are weak. Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure. It is our light, not our darkness that most frightens us. We ask ourselves, who am I to be brilliant, gorgeous, talented, and fabulous? Actually, who are you not to be? You are a child of God. You’re playing small does not serve the world ... As we are liberated from our own fear, our presence automatically liberates others." These are the words that were spoken by the late Nelson Mandela. Such powerful words. Indeed what we carry is beyond measure, no mathematics genius is able to calculate what God has placed in each and every one of us. We carry greatness and we are of great value.
A writer once said that if your dreams do not scare you, they are not big enough. Dream dreams that makes you to shake in your boots when thinking about the success ahead. Be the kind of dreamer that believes in themselves even if other people have lost hope.
Be a dreamer. Just like Joseph in the bible he had a dream and his dream was big. His father and siblings couldn't bring themselves to believing him. But in the end all came pass.
On this month’s issue: fighting procrastination seems to be the best thing that you could ever do for yourself. Read more info on Introvert.com column. Always postponing tasks will not only make you be behind with work but will also affect your entire future. You do have a dream right? So focus on that dream and start building you future. On cover we have CeeBoo a singer, song rewriter etc. she shares. We have food, fashion, good laughs, spiritual nourishment and a little bit of everything you will need. Enjoy!
Enjoy……Kaya

CeeBoo
A voice for many reasons, a light to hopeless souls

They say music heals wounded souls, and that is true. It soothes away anxieties, it rinses away the misery of hearts and though the stains are sometimes staborn to die away healing never cease to take its course. CeeBoo is one of those who are called to music with a purpose of healing those who needs healing. She started singing at the age of six, where she was a member of her church choir. Her musical journey blossomed from singing in the church choir to poetry podiums where she raided open mic sessions. She later turned the poems into songs. We had a chat with this wonderful soul and spoke about her musical journey.
For anybody who doesn't know you, please introduce yourself.
I was named Sibusiso Msesiwe. I was born and raised in the coastal town of East London. Now have donned the moniker CeeBoo and I am overfilled with flair and creativity in my latest contribution ‘City Rain Remix’ originally done by DJ Mobi Dixon featuring Mque. I am a versatile cross over artists whose lilting and honey raw voices wafts swiftly between Afro-soul and R&B I am a selftaught musician. I enjoyed learning a skill without the awareness of the underlying processes of what is being learnt. In the process of curiosity you make mistakes, learn and grow because you have no scope or boundary to limit you. It is for this reason that I do not like being boxed as a musician.
In retrospect, what are the things that you think have made Ceeboo be the Ceeboo that she is today?
My passion for music, the ability to write and interpret my experiences (and those of others), by expressing pieces of my soul through piano and song. Have given me a Purpose that I was fortunate enough to identify at a very early age. Self-Discipline, Perseverance, Good Faith, Morals, Courage, Humility and a strong Spiritual foundation, are what I am made of. I believe in making and having a positive impact in peoples' lives, because bad company corrupts good manners and that is what I live by.
How does the reality of your career as a musician differ from typical expectations?
I say, Expectations are a setup for disappointment. If I face the world having no expectations, I have no reason to fear rejection and disappointment. My career has had its own challenges like any other, more good than bad in fact. Exploitation and placing my trust in the wrong places because of the space I was in many years ago, the emotional stress from suppression, the denial I had from my "Defaults Of Character and Bad Character Judgement", and the ultimate gift of Forgiveness, have all been a blessing to me and even more reason to sing and thrive to be a lifeline for someone who feels that there is no hope, even after the most Dehumanising Events in their life.
When did your love for music begin?
8 August 2019
My Late Mother often told me, I used to sing before I could talk or make sense of anything else in this world. I believe her. I could fully and clearly express myself best when I wrote a poem or sang a song. Only to find out that I didn't make sense to a lot of people, because I was only 6 years old. I was an avid reader, very inquisitive and eager to learn musical things at that age, so I'd be reading and writing poems. Then I'd be singing those poems and teaching myself multiple instruments for curiosity’s' sake, because all these things came to me quite naturally and will be a part of me until infinity.
What drew you into the music industry?
I wasn't drawn into the music industry. I was born to be the change that God knew and saw we need in this industry and in many other aspects in this journey of Life. A voice for many reasons, a light to hopeless souls and a Vehicle to re-ignite the passion and value that we once embraced about one another, as humankind. With both of my parents being Preachers, I was born into it. It's in my veins and is something deeper than my own understanding, that I clearly know and accept, is my duty to share with the young and old and to then empower the rest of the world with what and who I am.

I absolutely love making people smile. It's free, yet very rewarding
Would you say that music is your calling?
Oh Yes. Definitely! I feel there's so much work to be done in my life and time and I enjoy enriching and changing lives.

You have shared a stage with wellknown artist including Mi-casa. How was that experience?
I was lucky enough to have met and spoken to Dr Duda (Of MiCaSa), when I was living and hustling for my career in Johannesburg back in 2012. So when my career didn't pan out there, I came back home to East London and then had the honour of being MiCaSa's opening Act in 2013. I've met, stayed and travelled with a number of celebrities. They are normal, humble, kind and loving people like you and I. I myself was recognized as a celebrity in Joburg, so Humility goes a very, very long way.

I say, the whole world is my playground, as there are songs found in my album, which almost every other individual intellect can relate to and identify with.
What was the message on your debut album “Breaking Down”? And who is the target market? My debut album - "Breaking Dawn" is a 13 track Album and was written and recorded in East London, in 2013. It entails messages of hope, motivation, courage, faith, perseverance, love stories and prophecies. To me, the beginning of each brand new day starts at the break of dawn. So I named my Offering "Breaking Dawn", because it means "Joy Comes In The Morning." In regards to my "Target Market". I say, the whole world is my playground, as there are songs found in my album, which almost every other individual intellect can relate to and identify with. The International Sphere has always been the Pinnacle I plan to reach. My Motto is, Music is a universal language and it knows no barriers and
10 August 2019
boundaries. So why not Target the International Market from the onset?
Who did you work with on this album, and who wrote the songs? Breaking Dawn is entirely written and composed by me. I had the privilege of working with one of Eastern Capes' most gifted producers, music arranger and sound engineer, Mr Mwezi Zazi, who reigns from Mdantsane. He has produced and worked on Timeless Hit Songs with the likes of Boom Shaka, Sipho "Hotstix" Mabuse, Sello "Chicco" Twala, Lebo and Ringo Madlingozi, (to mention a few).
Is there a particular song or musical passage that never fails to move you emotionally? It could be an old song.
No. Not that I know of. Music is therapy, even when someone doesn't want to speak, but would rather listen to music. The melody somehow touches their soul and awakens emotions from the deepest most sacred parts of their existence. Music is 100% emotion connected, when the melody is sad and mellow dramatic, your tears are automatically triggered. Also depending on what you may be going through at that present moment and time. Music heals and brings relief. It doesn't destroy anyone, it builds character and moods in those instances of being entertained or just relaxing at home. Music is simply a life-line to many of us and for many other people like myself. I'd be lying if I said, I listened to a song and I felt nothing. That song is someone’s hard work and is worth a listen and acknowledgement.
u ntied
How would you describe a perfect song?
A perfect song is a song that you are most vulnerable, transparent and heavy hearted during its recording and delivery. I say this out of my personal experiences. When you are in sync with the words or the melody and the concept or even the lyrical content of your project, you as an artist need to allow yourself to feel the pain you're singing about. That is what connects and attracts people to your music and your voice. Those small cracks in your voice, accompanied by the heaviness in your heart, are what makes Listeners draw closer to you and want to know more about what you have to offer.
Music is simply a lifeline to many of us and for many other people like myself

What are you most passionate about besides music?
12) Motivational speaking and helping the youth in poverty stricken areas, underprivileged schools, broken homes and communities. Inspiring others in general. I love bringing people together in song, it becomes a mutual understanding. I believe everyone has a purpose and I enjoy instilling Faith and teaching others about Self-Confidence and the importance of Self-Esteem and presenting themselves in a respectable manner (etc). I love nurturing raw talent and watching it grow. It brings such warmth to my heart at the end of the day.
What or who inspires you?
My inspiration comes from the challenges I've had in my life and time. The tough experiences and things I had endured. I am therefore so grateful for all the things that I have overcome. If it wasn't for all that pain and trauma, I wouldn't be the woman, wife and mother that I am today. I live a life of no regrets, even my darkest hours, I have learned to appreciate. In helping others, I have discovered that there is always someone else that has bigger problems and daily challenges than mine. So my pain inspires me, my joy, my Husband and beautiful kids, they all inspire me. My only surviving parent, - (Daddy) - Rev. Owen Msesiwe, inspires me. Almost everything that is connected to life and living, inspires me.
Have you ever dealt with performance anxiety while on stage performing?
(Anxiety while Performing on Stage), Hahaha... that's a good one! I used to when I started performing for big crowds in 2009. Fast forward to a decade later - I can safely say Nope. That anxious feeling turned into an Adrenaline Rush. I get butterflies before singing on the Microphone and stepping on stage, it's like falling in love time and time again. But I get thirsty when I'm nervous, so I drink lots of water when I sing, so I'm not sure if that is me being "Anxious" or what...
During your journey, who have you worked with and what have you accomplished so far?
I performed alongside the likes of Queens Of Dance, Bantu Soul, Top Mafia, DJ Menace (Beyonce Records), DJ Clock (AMPM), Master Wakes of Kalawa Jazzme Dance, Mwezi Zazi, Msaki and Zama Ntshona. Performed on Etv's Sunrise and Club808. BEAT Magazine Awards as the Best Female Vocalist Nominee in 3 categories. I also performed and toured in Windhoek Namibia alongside Speedy (of Bongo Muffin) and several other artists
What more can we look out from you in the near future?
Tons of Collaborations. Local, National and International Artists have shown interest in Collaborating with me. More Timeless Tunes.

I am an old soul stuck in a young body. So my music appeals to Intellects and will continue to move the masses, who latch on, like, purchase, and share and support my music’s' authenticity. I'll also be traveling in and around the world ,learning several music-cultures, exploring different countries, visiting historic as well as religious sites and spreading love through music, as I know how to express myself and things around me, in that way best. Any advice to young women who aspire to be artists?
My Advice to aspiring musicians and artists is that: "One needs to be spiritually grounded in order to handle the good, the bad and the ugly that this specific industry has to offer. Not everything is as it seems. We often chase money and put money before the dream, well...I have discovered that the dream is top priority, as much as we need money to support that dream, in some way helping it become a reality. The dream will always be there, even when you make it and long after your money is gone.
I do hope somebody is motivated by this today. Never sleep on your gift, use it and don't abuse it. Never give up! That is NOT an option."

For anybody who doesn't know you, please introduce yourself. I’m Yvonne Jacqueline Maphosa, from Plumtree, Zimbabwe and currently living in Cape Town. I’m the last born of six children and hold my family very close to her heart. I believe I’ve mastered the art of multitasking; as I juggle my studies, lecturing, writing books, travelling the world, blogging and doing voluntary work. I’m bubbly in nature with an addiction to adrenaline and an adventurous spirit that leads me to extreme sports and trekking unbeaten paths in foreign countries. I’m an avid reader and I’m a no-filter storyteller, I tell it as it is. I often describe myself as a free spirit with a wild heart (with deep love for Akon, African fiction and food) and I’m not sure but I think I’m an old soul.

I often describe myself as a free spirit with a wild heart
In retrospect, what are the things that you think have made Yvonne be the Yvonne that she is today? I think my background made me want more out of life. Growing up in rural Zimbabwe pushed me to want more and more and I guess I always wanted to make it out of the village and see what’s beyond the horizon. My family played a great role in shaping me into who I am today. My siblings set the bar too high, academically, family wise, loyalty wise and in everything. I can only aspire to be like them one day. My family has always had my back and given me the best they can. I can’t think of a single moment they didn’t come through for me. My mother is my best friend and my most solid pillar of strength. I guess it all comes with being the lastborn. I’m not complaining though.
When did your love for writing begin? My mother was a teacher and she instilled reading into me. When I was four, we would sit outside under the full moon and she would teach me how to write my name on the ground. Learning how to write Jacqueline took me forever to master but she is a very patient woman. Around Grade 3 I was reading Enid Blyton stories. I would read to her and she would help me with big words. By Grade 5 I was writing my own ‘novels’. In high school I was seriously writing ‘novels’ and I would pray everyday to get published one day.

The final years of high school (Advanced Level) were hectic so I gave up writing and focused on school. I only revived that writing dream early last year if my memory serves me right.
Tell us about your debut Novel 'The y in yOUR Man is Silent, so please tune in'. The story follows the life of Fierce, a young lady born and bred in Zimbabwe trying to find her feet in Cape Town. She is pursuing her studies in a university in Cape Town and in this book, she takes us through the complex journeys of university life, love, work, school, family and all round relationships. She has a talkative mind, a loving heart and embraces all things beauty and love. As her story unfolds, she finds herself having to fight her way through societal standards, uphold and practice the traditions she was raised by, support her family back home (Black Tax) and still try to stay true to herself. She believes she will never fall in love considering her failed relationships, until she comes face to face with a man who sweeps her off her feet. It’s the beginning of an emotional roller coaster as she clings on to love against all odds. He loves her but his love is laced with lies, cheating and pain. Yet, no matter how many times she lets him go, he always finds a way back into her life. Fierce has an interesting and often hilarious way of handling situations.

Why did you choose this topic? I chose this topic because it addresses issues close to my heart. It speaks on polygamy, balancing the liberal city life and reserved village life. Being a foreigner in South Africa, it also touches on issues that affect us as women such as rape, miscarriages and certain societal expectations. All in all, I found the topic interesting to write about. I thoroughly enjoyed telling this story.
How do you manage the clues and disclosures so that you stay a step ahead of the reader? I don’t, I just tell my story as it is. I don’t sit down and twist and turn my story every page. Some end results of events may be predictable but I’m hoping many are not.
Do you have your own tips on telling a story and could you tell us? I write from the heart and I write about things and places I know about. I always try to make light of situations in my book because I’m an emotional being and I laugh to keep from crying, that is usually seen in my writing. So if you want to write, write what you want and the way you want, don’t copy someone else. Find your own writing voice and be as authentic as you can be.

Although mostly fictional, the novel touches on situations some women find themselves in every day.
22 August 2019
When you read for pleasure, do you always read just one book at a time, or do you ever have several going at once? I read at least three books at a time. Five chapters here, five there and five there. Time is something I don’t have so I have to multitask if I am to get things done.
Is there anything else you'd like to highlight or discuss about your book 'The y in yOUR Man is Silent’, so please tune in'? Although mostly fictional, the novel touches on situations some women find themselves in every day. It delves into subjects such as cheating, side chicks, polygamy, culture, life of immigrants in South Africa, higher education, black tax, rape, miscarriages, cultural practices, traditional beliefs and rituals, step children and sibling rivalries; the very multifaceted attributes of an African woman. The novel gives vivid descriptions of Cape Town, Johannesburg, Zimbabwe and Ghana, amongst other places. It contains a few mature scenes so it’s not for kids.
What land of work are you planning to do in the future? I think I’m still good in the writing field. I’m loving it here. I have a few books lined up and I’ll publish them in due time. My novel Grasping at Straws is coming next.

WEIGHING YOUR FASHION OPTIONS
ou must not be ashamed to admit that clothing is one of your favourite possessions in the world. You probably love everything about Yclothing, except your constantly empty
wallet as a result of those expensive brands that you simply couldn’t live without.
Like most people, I also find myself constantly getting disgruntled about price tags, even on supposed “sale items”. Sometimes we find ourselves broke, but that doesn’t mean our fashion has to suffer the consequences. Please, take off that unflattering hoodie, there are other options out there. The perfect Louboutins are a distant mirage, but affordable fashion. Now there’s an ocean of possibility.
Whether its old school vintage or recently thrifted items, all that’s stopping you from perfect new outfits is a little effort and maybe a trip to the cleaner.
Consign: So you want to buy some new clothes but don’t have time for a job in between your daily chores/ routines. Welcome to consignment. Empty your closet of clothes you no longer wear and sell them to your local second hand store. It’s an easy way to score a few bucks with limited effort as long as your clothes are cute and in good condition. Then spend away!
Stock Up On Accessories: Rather than luxuriating on an expensive dress, invest in necklaces, bangles and belts. You’ll get tired of that dress sooner or later, whereas accessories will spice up plain items and allow you to create drastically different looking ensembles with the same basic pieces.
Thrift plus Vintage: Paying full price for duds is totally outdated. Of course we all love waltzing into our favourite stores, having seriously helpful sales contacts and leaving the store with a large and perfectly wrapped bag, but for fashionistas on a budget this isn’t the way to go. It’s time you explore other options. Don’t be scared, thrift stores really aren’t bad.

DEVELOP YOUR SENSE FOR DRESSING SHARP PART1
You want to dress well but you have no clue how to go about it. Many women and men struggle with this aspect, but despite all the disasters never stop trying because eventually you will start cracking the nut. Once you get it right in your head it will actually become easy and everything will start making sense. You just need a bit of guidance so that you ca on focus on the right things. I have 20 rules that will help you build a kick-ass style of your own, but you will have to work on it.
1. START FROM SCRATCH When you want to start dressing your style, you have to start from the beginning, it doesn't mean you should discard from all your clothes right away, but you should accept that you will eventually get rid of your current wardrobe. Saying goodbye to some of your favourites will be hard, but it must be done in order to make progress. But don't worry you will get better favourites that will make you look way more awesome.
2. FORGET EVERYTHING YOU THINK YOU KNOW Accept that you may not know as much as you think. Assume you know nothing, and you'll be open to learn everything. Things you deemed inconsequential turn to be of vital importance, while things that you thought were crucial turned not to matter at all.
24 August 2019
3 FOCUS ON THE BASICS Mastering the basics alone will benefit you greatly. I always say its half the battle, But it’s more like three quarters, if not more.
4 BUILD A SOLID WARDROBE FOUNDATION. You need to collect versatile wardrobe staples that match well with almost everything basic items like white shirt, dark blue jeans, fitted black dress and grey sweaters. Items like these will serve as a training wheel while you learn to get the basics right. They will also keep you safe from making mistakes when you don't know how to match clothes yet.
u ntied
You should prune your wardrobe periodically for items that look washed out, no longer fit or that you simply no longer wear. You should discard these items and keep your wardrobe decluttered.
Debrief Pick one thing, and focus on mastering that one thing. Then pick the next and the next. All you need to do is follow these rules, focus on the right things and take one small step at a time. See you on our next issue where I’ll be continuing with DEVELOPING YOUR KICK-Ass dress sense.
Written by: Nomangwane Flatela
5 KEEP IT SIMPLE. Leonardo DaVinci once said, “Simplicity is the ultimate sophisticated". Keep this in mind when you're pulling your outfits together. Stop over complicating things. Simple style is always the best style.
6 FIT COMES FIRST. This is the golden rule, getting the fit right is your priority always. Unfortunately most of us get this wrong and getting is wrong sabotages everything else you try. Fit come first ALWAYS, if you decide to follow one role from this article make sure it’s this one.
7 TRIM YOUR WARDROBE. Having a bulging wardrobe offers no benefits, in fact having lots of clothes in your wardrobe is impractical. You do not need lots of clothes to have a great arsenal of stylish outfits.

u ntied 4 skin care secrets thatyou need to know
We all yearn for flawless, radiant and healthy sin. However this may seem hard to attain, no thanks to aging, dryness or oiliness of the skin, and annoying breakouts. Fortunately, we’ve rounded up some of the best tips out there to help your skin look youthful and glowing for longer.
Go to bed with a freshly washed face Be sure to remove your make-up before you go to bed. The skin needs to breathe overnight, and any make-up left on your skin will clog up your pores, and that can lead to the formation of pimples, blemishes and pimples.
Stay moisturised Moisturising your whole body is the best way to stop dry skin from developing. Applying lotion right after you bathed or showered seals in the moisture that your skin has just absorbed.
Keep your face clear If you suffer from oily skin, acne or blemishes, be careful not to constantly touch or rub your face, as this can cause pimples to break out.
Use sunscreen Whether you’re fair or dark-skinned, and regardless of weather, you need to use sunscreen with an SPF of at least 15 that blocks both UVB and UVA rays. Sun exposure can lead to you developing wrinkles and age spots. It also makes stretch marks and scars darker, and is a source of skin cancer.

u ntied Beauty6 beneficial make-up tipsfor older women
As you get older, fine lines, wrinkles and age spots are more likely to affect the appearance of your skin. This can make the process of applying make-up more arduous. Thankfully, there are make-up tips out there that are suitable for mature skin, which can help you look glamorous no matter how old you are. Here are six practical make-up tips that benefit older women:
Use primer
Primer helps to even out your skin tone, minimise your pores and keeps your makeup in place. Plus, they reduce the appearance of wrinkles and fine lines.
Use the right foundation
Your skin isn’t the same as it was years ago. Opt to use to a lightweight foundation that will make your skin appear more radiant, hydrated and natural. They also conceal small imperfections like aging spots.
Choose the right mascara
Add blush
Applying cream blush on the apple of your cheeks will add a youthful radiance to your face, as well as gives highlighting to your eyes and less to your wrinkles.
Choose the right lipstick
For plump looking lips, use lightcoloured lipstick or lip gloss that don’t feather into the lines around your lips. Avoid dark shades if you have thin lips, as they can make your lips appear thinner.
Make your eyes pop
From light to rich, dark shades of eye shadow can enhance your eyes and draw attention away from any fine lines or wrinkles. If you have creased eyelids, use a soft, kohl eyeliner and apply it as close to the lash line as you possibly can.
Avoid using mascara that lengthens and curl your lashes. Instead, use a mascara that makes your lashes appear lush and full.

make-up mistakesyou should avoid
u ntied
Whether you are a beauty beginner or a glamour guru, you’re still liable to
make one or two minor mistakes while applying make-up. Putting on makeup is an art form in itself, one that requires patience, concentration and creativity. That being said, even the best make-up artists can slip up while painting their
face. Small errors like using the wrong brush to over- applying lipstick can ruin a makeup masterpiece in an instant. So what should you do – or rather what should you not do? Take a look at these four make-up mistakes that you should avoid:
Don’t apply concealer that’s two shades lighter
Using a concealer that’s two shades lighter than your natural skin tone will brighten the areas under your eyes, resulting in a “reverse raccoon” effect. To avoid this, use a concealer that matches your skin tone or foundation.
Don’t apply dark lipstick to thin lips
If your lips are quite thin, it’s best to avoid using dark shades of lipstick, as they can make your lips look even smaller. Opt to use bold, brighter shades instead so as to achieve the effect of fuller lips.
Don’t smile when applying blush
If you do, the blush on the apples of your cheeks ends up being lower on your face and close to your lips once you stop smiling.
You can smile to pinpoint the apples of your cheeks, then you can relax your face and apply the blush normally.
Don’t apply shiny eyeshadow to your eyelids
Shiny eyeshadow can emphasis the wrinkles and dine lines on your eyelids. Matte eyeshadows can help your eyes and your face overall appear fresh and youthful.

For most people, losing weight is no small task. Dieting takes a lot of motivation and dedication, and can become extremely tiresome. While the best strategy is to follow a healthy diet and to exercise regularly, there are a few extra things you can do to aid you in your weight-loss journey. These tips and tricks have been scientifically tried and tested and, best of all, they are all natural. So before you grab the weight-loss shakes or fat-burning pills, try incorporating these easy and natural tips into your daily life to help you shed excess weight.
Stock Up on Green Tea There are several benefits to drinking green tea daily, one of them being weight loss. Most nutritionists recommend 2 to 3 cups of unsweetened green tea daily. Green tea contains several antioxidants that aid your body in flushing out toxins and fats. Scientists have also found that green tea increases your energy expenditure thereby helping to burn fat stores.
Avoid Processed Foods Processed foods contain a lot of added sugars and calories. They are specifically designed to make you want more, which leads to overeating While they are amazingly convenient and usually affordable, cutting out processed foods from your diet completely will force you to enjoy the benefits of nutritious foods. Swop your morning cup of coffee for a cup green tea and reap the benefits!
Spice Up Your Life It has been scientifically proven that spicy foods can help your body to burn fat. Chilli peppers, green peppers and jalapenos contain the capsaicin compound, which not only boosts your metabolism, but burns fat and helps to reduce your appetite. If you’re not a fan of spicy foods, then try adding just a dash chilli to stews and soups. This will allow you to consume the chilli without tasting the burn.
Replace Fats with Coconut Oil The list of benefits of coconut oil is almost endless. While most people know that coconut oil is rich in Vitamin E, which is good for your skin and hair, not many people are aware of its fatburning benefits. Coconut oil is high in fats called triglycerides, which are metabolised differently to other fats in your body. Coconut oil has also been proven to help reduce belly fat and to speed up your metabolism. Replace your usual cooking oil with coconut oil to avoid unnecessary fats.

taring your fitness journey can feel like a daunting task sometimes, especially if Syou have no idea where to start.
Exercising can help you lead a healthy lifestyle, but for beginners, embarking on their fitness journey for the first time can be scary. We have compiled few fitness tips to help you start the process of exercising.
START SMALL
Schedule your workouts to make sure that you don’t compromise your exercise routine. Set small daily goals for yourself an aim for regularity. It’s much better for you to walk every day for 20-30 minutes than for you to have to wait until the weekend for hours of exercise.
FIND AN EXERCISE THAT SUITS YOU
Everyone has that one exercise or workout routine that works better for them. Try jogging, walking, dancing or cycling for 20-40 minutes about three to five times a week. Determine which of these best suits you and that you enjoy the most, so that you can do it regularly.
GET AN EXERCISING BUDDY
Flying solo sometimes is the way to go, but if you feel that you need a fitness buddy then go for it. Find a friend to exercise with you; and please not just anyone, but someone who has better understanding about fitness than you or someone who has the same fitness goals as you. It’s often easier to stick to your exercise routine when you have someone to keep you company.
LISTEN TO MUSIC
Apart for the fact that music heals, music also has an ability to make your mind travel to wherever you want to go. Many people find it’s much easier to exercise if they’re listening to music they enjoy. Entertain yourself during exercise by listening to music, audio book or favourite podcast.
BE PATIENT
Remember to be patient with yourself when you start a new exercise program. It can take about 5 to 8 weeks for most people to get used to an exercise routine, so stick with it in order to see results. Don’t lose focus.

u ntiedfoods to avoid to
ensure weight loss
Sometimes it takes cutting certain foods from your diet to lose weight. Losing weight can be tricky, especially since there are tons of refined and processed foods out there that can make you gain weight. Even foods that promise to be “healthy” or low-fat aren’t often the real deal. So what foods should you avoid in order to shed the extra kilos?
HIGH FIBRE SNACK BARS
While these bars contain fibre, they deliver it in huge doses rather than steadily throughout the day. Uncomfortable symptoms of eating too much fibre include weight gain, bloating and constipation.
HIGH CALORIE DRINKS
Soft drinks, sport drinks, some juices, coffee drinks are incredibly fattening, as they contain high amount of sugar, calories and artificial cream. By eliminating these kind of drinks from your diet, you can avoid the risk of insulin resistance, diabetes and of cause weight gain.
SOY SAUCE
It is high in sodium, can also leave you feeling bloated and also increase the risk of hypertension. While it may be low on calories, its best to use soy sauce sparingly.
WHITE BREAD
Now is the good time to skip out on the sandwich making. Refined and high in sugar, white bread can increase your sugar levels, lead to over eating, and increase your risk of weight by 40% or more.

THE JOB GENERATION OF YOUNG MEN
The church is in need of a generation of young men, which have and carry the heart of Job. Job says in the book of JOB 31:1
By: Prophet K Tukwayo
"I made a covenant with my eyes not to look lustfully at a girl." I have seen and counselled many a young woman in the church today who came into marriage hopeful, excited and thinking because I married a believer I am safe from the demon of lust that has destroyed marriages in the world, to their disappointment men in church are no different from the ones in the world. I want to challenge the next generation of young men in the church today to seek this anointing of Job. Job was a man living in times of very lustful men in Israel. Polygamy was the order of the day because men could not control themselves and God through His permissive will let them take as many wives as they wanted. In the midst of all that chaos Job decided I am going to be different, I am going to train my eyes not to look at a woman lustfully. I don't think it was easy for Job to do as any training would be. He had set it in his heart and because it was good he probably had the backing of the heavens. I can imagine how many times he had to rebuke himself in a day because eyes are probably the most lustful part of a human’s body whether male or female doesn't matter what you list after but eyes play a big role in that.
Therefore to train eyes is equal to taming a lion and making it to behave like a sheep, almost impossible or totally impossible. Job was determined, he knew who he was before God, he was not going to sell his inheritance for a moments' pleasure. To prove how difficult a task Job had set himself, Paul says in the book of GALATIANS 5:17 "For the sinful nature desires what is contrary to the Spirit and the Spirit what is contrary to the sinful nature. They are in conflict with each other, so that you do not do what you want." I love the way Paul ends this verse "......so that you do not do what you want" maybe that is exactly where the problem is, we never set in our hearts that which we want to do, which results in us being moved by every wave that comes. Job set it in his heart that is the starting point for all of us, want it, tell yourself, and train yourself until you become it. I have seen many people who started training because they wanted to lose a little weight but as they continued they started falling in love with it and even after the weight was gone they never stopped training in order to

maintain the weight and even go beyond to make it a lifestyle. It is possible therefore young man to train your eyes as well not to look at any woman lustfully. Like any training no one says it is going to be easy, but with a lot of determination and zeal surely God will help you along the way. We cannot continue to be in church and have women that are hurting because their husbands who are lifting hands and preaching bin church did not sleep at home the previous night, somebody has to draw the line at some point, and that person is you The Job generation is going to rise up in church, one young man at a time. They will value holiness and purity, they will value integrity, and they value the vows they made before God. They understand that love is kind, it is not rude, and it is not selfseeking. Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. Young man that are not afraid of being different and swim against the stream. Young man who are determined not to be like their fathers but want to fix the false foundation for their sons. The Job generation that will bring up happy children in happy homes with happy mothers. A generation that is set on not bringing disease and death to their families but are the givers of life. I challenge you to be different, to be counted by God as righteous. To protect the anointing that is upon your life with all that you have. Not to dance with demons in the night and lift up "holy hands" in the morning. Not to raise another generation of broken kids with daddy issues because
father was never there and father destroyed their happy home. Love your wife enough, marry for love and not beauty or brains for all those are vanity. Love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your mind and with all your strength. God bless you. #Job generation #arise #defy the status quo
