Hello friend!
Rising Like The Phoenix
There is only one thing in this world that has no solution, it only God who has its solution and that is death. For everything else you always have many ways to rise and overcome whatever stands in your path. Like the phoenix rising from its ashes, no matter how often you hit rock bottom, stand. Dust yourself off and journey forward. In regard to personal or spiritual growth, the “rising like a phoenix from the ashes” can represent letting go of old ideas, bad habits or evil mentality.
Emerge from catastrophe stronger, smarter, more powerful and wiser. Rise above mediocre, above people’s demining mind sets. Disregard the opinions of those who want to take you down, destroy you or trying to disqualify you.
This month as it is breast cancer awareness, make sure you share any information you get to those who do not know.
All around the world young and older women have been affected by breast cancer. This unsympathetic illness has left many without mothers and it continues to steal joy in the world. It continues to leave families with void and survivors missing some parts of their bodies. To those who are facing this illness I say, be courageous. You are more than capable of defeating this disease, you will rise
Enjoy……Kaya

Breast cancer awareness
reast cancer is cancer that develops from breast tissue. Signs of breast cancer may include a lump in the B breast, a change in breast shape, dimpling of the skin, fluid coming from the nipple, or a red scaly patch of skin. In those with distant spread of the disease, there may be bone pain, swollen lymph nodes, shortness of breath, or yellow skin.
Mammograms showing a normal breast (left) and a breast with cancer (right, white arrows). Specialty Oncology Symptoms Lump in a breast, change in breast shape, dimpling of the skin, fluid coming from the nipple, red scaly patch of skin Risk factors Female, obesity, lack of exercise, alcohol, hormone replacement therapy during menopause, ionizing radiation, early age at first menstruation, having children late or not at all, older age, family history, Klinefelter syndrome Diagnostic method Tissue biopsy Treatment Surgery, radiation therapy, chemotherapy, hormonal therapy, targeted therapy
Risk factors for developing breast cancer include being female, obesity, lack of physical exercise, drinking alcohol, hormone replacement therapy during menopause, ionizing radiation, early age at first menstruation, having children late or not at all, older age,
and family history About 5–10% of cases are due to genes inherited from a person's parents, including BRCA1 and BRCA2 among others. Breast cancer most commonly develops in cells from the lining of milk ducts and the lobules that supply the ducts with milk. Cancers developing from the ducts are known as ductal carcinomas, while those developing from lobules are known as lobular carcinomas. In addition, there are more than 18 other sub-types of breast cancer. Some cancers, such as ductal carcinoma in situ, develop from pre-invasive lesions. The diagnosis of breast cancer is confirmed by taking a biopsy of the concerning lump. Once the diagnosis is made, further tests are done to determine if the cancer has spread beyond the breast and which treatments it may respond to.
Outcomes for breast cancer vary depending on the cancer type, extent of disease, and person's age. Survival rates in the developed world are high, with between 80% and 90% of those in England and the United States alive for at least 5 years. In developing countries survival rates are poorer, worldwide, breast cancer is the leading type of cancer in women, accounting for 25% of all cases. In 2012 it resulted in 1.68 million new cases and 522,000 deaths. It is more common in developed countries and is more than 100 times more common in women than in men
Signs and symptoms
Breast cancer showing an inverted nipple, lump, and skin dimpling. The first noticeable symptom of breast cancer is typically a lump that feels different from the rest of the breast tissue. More than 80% of breast cancer cases are discovered when the woman feels a lump. The earliest breast cancers are detected by a mammogram. Lumps found in lymph nodes located in the armpits can also indicate breast cancer.
Indications of breast cancer other than a lump may include thickening different from the other breast tissue, one breast becoming larger or lower, a nipple changing position or shape or becoming inverted, skin puckering or dimpling, a rash on or around a nipple, discharge from nipple/s, constant pain in part of the breast or armpit, and swelling beneath the armpit or around the collarbone, Pain ("mastodynia") is an unreliable tool in determining the presence or absence of breast cancer, but may be indicative of other breast health issues.
Inflammatory breast cancer is a particular type of breast cancer which can pose a substantial diagnostic challenge. Symptoms may resemble a breast inflammation and may include itching, pain, swelling, nipple inversion, warmth and redness throughout the breast, as well as an orange-peel texture to the skin referred to as peau d'orange. As inflammatory breast cancer does not present as a lump there can sometimes be a delay in diagnosis.
Another reported symptom complex of breast cancer is Paget's disease of the breast. This syndrome presents as skin changes resembling eczema, such as redness, discoloration, or mild flaking of the nipple skin. As Paget's disease of the breast advances, symptoms may include tingling, itching, increased sensitivity, burning, and pain. There may also be discharge from the nipple. Approximately half of women diagnosed with Paget's disease of the breast also have a lump in the breast. It is wise to go for a check-up regularly.

Have you always known that you will be a DJ and a music producer one day?
Not really, the occupation took me by surprise. It all began when I took a gap year. I couldn't just sit around that year doing nothing- I had to do something. That period I recognise my love for Dejaying develop.
When did your love for music begin?
For as long as I can remember, perhaps in my mom's womb. LOL. I would always fantasize myself singing but unfortunately I don't have the angelic singing voice.
What drew you into the music industry?
I recall going out one particular night, I got mesmerized by this DJ and a thought hit me that I myself should be as good as him, if not more, and so I did.
Would you say that you are called to do music?
I'm still on a journey of discovery to find my personal legend, but by the looks of things, I strongly believe I'm on the right path to pursuing greater measures within the music industry.

"And if at first you don't succeed, dust yourself off and try again!" Aaliyah on Try again.

Lest I not abandon my first love, film making, that time is coming.
What inspires you?
I draw inspiration from seeing people from different background (personally known and unknown) work towards achieving their personal legend.
Who have you worked with so far?
I am honoured to have worked with the ohso-gorgeous, talented and the queen of hooks, Thabsie (African Queen and Macala vocalist). I am obsessively grateful for that moment and opportunity, every moment I've worked with her as her DJ is cherished, a foundation of knowledge was laid, and I learnt a lot from her.
Literature is the foundation of life. It places an emphasis on many topics from human tragedies to tales of the human nature. It is no surprise that technology is taking the world by storm and the days of kids sitting around bon fires and listen to their parents reading them stories is long gone. But here is a book that will foster communication with your kids, it’s available both in digital and hard copy.
The book is entitled uSibahle nabahlobo. The book was published by Ezabantsundu Writer's Network in East London (2019). This book was written by Makabongwe Mzamo, a qualified teacher, visual artist and playwright who has 7 years of teaching experience in teaching IsiXhosa in the foundation phase.
He has successfully taught local and foreign international learners how to read, write and speak IsiXhosa fluently. USibahle nabahlobo was originated as a virtue to buck the trend of children's IsiXhosa literature that always make an emphasis on rural lifestyle narrative. USibahle nabahlobo is the only book that has successfully found the fine balance in combining the two contexts or lifestyles as a virtue to ensure that the book is relatable to both backgrounds because the book speaks directly to them. USibahle nabahlobo's main emphasis is on word building, vocabulary development through phonics as a virtue to improve learners' literacy through improved language practise and reading opportunities.
Beautyisonlyskindeep
n a society where physical beauty is an important part of who we are. We all want to look beautiful in our pictures; have the most likes on social I media and that is okay. The world does not need to see us when we not at our prettiest.
But the term beauty is not only limited to the physical features. Beauty is a beautiful mind, heart and soul. Inner beauty captivates hearts, it lights up the room, it turns a bad day into a good day and it makes others beautiful too. It is a reflection of how we present ourselves to the world.
Inner beauty is the ability to confidently stand tall and face the world, the ability to remove negativity in your life and focus on positive energy. It is being grateful and generous. It is having morals, integrity and showing that you care. It is self-belief that you are beautiful from within and not only the reflection on the mirror; it is compassion and kindness. It is the glow of confidence and bright eyes. Inner beauty is having courage and strength. Inner beauty is radiance, it is a positive attitude towards life and our surroundings. Inner beauty is selfrespect,
in respecting ourselves we are able to eliminate ourselves from situations whereby we are disrespected by others. Inner beauty is not the size you weigh, the type of hair on your head or even the clothes you wear.
Why then as humans are we so obsessed with outer beauty?
In all fairness, outer beauty is a great bonus. It is the type of beauty that is pleasant to the eyes, first glance type of beauty. Outer beauty does however, changes, what was seen as beautiful yesterday might not be seen as beautiful today. It does not fade, but it is a type of beauty that changes. Inner beauty on the other hand is forever beautiful. It doesn’t age nor does it change, it is forever. Outer beauty corresponds with inner beauty and is made visible for everyone to see. Therefore, present your truest form of beauty to the world –inner beauty. Beauty that captivates hearts and matures with time.
Spring is a symbol of rebirth and new beginnings, take advantage of this season. Challenge yourself to exercise your inner beauty. Your outer beauty is only skin deep. True beauty is the reflection of the soul. Inner beauty is what people remember us by when we are not in their presence because of how we made them feel. It is the ability to touch another and inspire them to be beautiful too.
3 myths out of order
1. Myth: if you have oily skin, you do not need to moisturise.
Fact: skin needs an equal amount of oil and water. If its oily, which is more common in warmer months, it means your skin is producing more oil than it needs and ought to be balanced with water based product. Instead of skipping moisturiser completely, choose a light, water based moisturiser that will help your skin balance. 1. Myth: if you don’t use make up you don’t have to wash your face at night.
Fact: our skin is always producing sweat, oil and also shedding. On top of that, its exposed to pollution and bacteria. This means it needs to be cleansed in the morning and also in the evening, regardless. Use products that will help you achieve your skin goals, such as better hydrated kin or less oiliness. 1. Myth: if the product burns your skin it means the product is working.
Fact: unless you need blemishes, this you will believe. If a product burns, your skin is letting you know that it is not pleased with the product. There are few circumstances under which you should feel pain when something is applied to the skin, for example during salon treatments such as microdermabrasion or micro blading. Products containing alcohol such as toners, often cause a burning sensation while applied. The rule of thumb is if it burns, keep it away from your skin.
4 tips for taking care of acne-prone skin
Managing your skin can be challenging, especially if your skin is prone to breaking out in pimples. Acne is common during puberty- that’s when your hormones go into overdrive, causing your skin to overproduce a type of oil called sebum, which lubricates the skin and hair.
Although acne becomes less common after your teen years, it can still be embarrassing when those pesky red spots pop up out of the blue. If you find yourself in a zitty situation, don’t despair- here are four tips for taking care of your skin.
Keep your face clean
Wash your face twice a day with warm water and a soap containing salicylic acid or glycolic acid. Gently massage your face in circular motions with either your hands or a very soft cloth. Rinse well, and then pat your face dry with a clean towel.
Apply sunscreen
In summer, apply a water-based sunscreen SPF of at least 30, as it will provide the necessary protection and hydration to the skin without adding extra oil.
Keep the skin hydrated
Drinking about 10 to 12 glasses of water a day will keep the pimples at bay. Also applying a waterbased moisturiser will protect your skin from the summer heat, reducing the chance of breakouts.
Use make-up sparingly
Heavy make-up can block pores and results in a breakout. Avoid wearing foundation, powder or blush where possible to prevent the pimples popping up, wash it off at the end of the day.
Natural solutions for dry hair
Sun exposure, colouring and heat styling are just some of the elements that can cause dry hair, and while conditioners are great, there are natural products that will restore the moisture to your hair and give it the life it needs. Here are the solutions for dry hair
Pure coconut oil
Pure coconut oil doesn’t exactly look like oil. It is not necessarily runny, and tends to be more of a paste when the room temperature is cold. Massage the pure coconut oil into your hair, it can both be dry or damp, and leave overnight. Remember to cover your hair strand from root to tip. Then once you’ve had the oil in your hair for a couple of hours, rinse out just as you would when washing your hair normally.
Honey mask
Honey is also one of nature’s greatest solutions to an array of different problems. Honey is also a natural humectant, so it naturally locks in moisture, making it perfect for dry hair. Make a honey mask for your hair with half a cup of honey and half a cup of olive oil. Cover all your hair in the mask for about 20 minutes and then rinse out with warm water.
Vinegar conditioner
Vinegar is both an excellent natural cleanser as well as locking in essential moisture. A vinegar infused conditioner can do wonders for your hair, all while giving it a sensational shine. Add one teaspoon of vinegar to half a cup of your regular conditioner. You can also add two table spoons to your entire conditioner bottle, but a rule of thumb is to try it out with a little bit first. Just use your conditioner as you would normally. You will start noticing a difference after the first wash.
ntied careers u Being an entrepreneur
he only difference between people who want to be entrepreneurs and the ones T who actually are is the work and the risk of getting started. If you feel like you want to be an entrepreneur but aren’t certain if you’re ready yet, here are five questions to help you determine your capabilities.
1. How comfortable are you with being uncomfortable? Entrepreneurship will mean a lot of uncertainty. If you’re the kind of person who needs a lot of control and a strictly scheduled life, you may not be able to handle the ambiguity that surrounds entrepreneurism. That being said, don’t think just because uncertainty makes you nervous you can’t be an entrepreneur. If you find you have a need for a controlled schedule, that trait could actually work in your favor.
Entrepreneurship requires long hours, hard work and dedication when you start out. Being able to manage your schedule and control your environment could help you with the organization of your business. However, you might want to plan before you leap in.
A few great ways to do this are to stockpile savings, already have a business plan you’re prepared to work and seek out a community of support to talk you through the tough times.
Related: Risk is the Admission Fee of Entrepreneurship
2. Are you disciplined? You are totally responsible for yourself. Right now, wherever you’re at, whatever you’re doing -- it’s your choices that got you here. How do those statements feel to you? If you feel yourself bristling and ready to argue, then you might not be in the right mindset for entrepreneurship yet.
When you start, you must take full accountability for everything -- there’s no back-up plan on why you got passed over for a promotion or why you didn’t get your report done on time. Clients won’t want excuses and they’ll drop you.
Even when it’s their fault you have to be prepared to deal with the possibility that you’ll have to handle it. You need discipline to survive and stay ahead of your work, ahead of your bills and to grow your business. If you struggle with accountability and discipline, don’t rule out
entrepreneurship forever. Take stock of ways your current situation could be improved by better decisions and try holding yourself accountable.
3. How’s your health? Taking care of your body is important for everyone, but can have particularly far-reaching implications for the entrepreneur. There are no sick days in entrepreneurship when you’re getting started. There’s a chance there won’t be for years. That’s going to mean you have to be productive, even when you don’t feel good, or risk missing business opportunities. You have to keep yourself in good health with diet and exercise that keeps your body strong and your mind keen.
Related: When Passion Is a Pitfall and Seeking Bliss Is Bogus
If you aren’t a healthy person, you may want to figure out a plan for improving your lifestyle before you transition into entrepreneurship. Also important, think of how you’ll cover health insurance and medical needs when you start your journey. Get a plan for your health and work it.
Make sure you’re passionate about what you’re intending to pursue as an entrepreneur and that you have the skill set to get to work. If you don’t, consider how you can improve your skills before making the leap and how you might get involved in something you’re passionate about doing.
5. Do you play well with others? You might think entrepreneurship is a solo activity, but the truth is that having great relationships is crucial to longterm success. It's not only for the value that comes from referrals and the camaraderie of close relationships, but also for the support you will need. If you’re starting out as an entrepreneur, you’re going to have periods where you need to rely on the strength, wisdom and friendship of others.
4. Do you love what you do and are you good at it? There are going to be long hours in entrepreneurship. If you enjoy what you’re doing and are passionate about your project, that intense amount of work is enjoyable. Don’t fool yourself into thinking money alone will be enough to motivate you.

ometimes it can be so hard to find the career of your dreams. After years of studying and preparing yourself for yourself for the S future one would think that it is going to be easy to get a proper job or job in the industry of ones dreams. To be frank, it is not easy but very difficult to acquire a dream job nowadays, and then you are left with few or no options on the job market and end up settling for less. Settling for less would mean applying for jobs below your aspirations, way below than where you have set up your standards. In my opinion there is nothing wrong or disgraceful in getting yourself a job that will help you earn remunerations honestly. But it seems unfair that after doing what is required of you to do (studying), then when you have finished studying and can meet the requirements of the industry you were preparing for only to find out that they (industry) are not ready to receive you (no jobs at all). It is quite daunting if I must say. But in all that do not despair, you will find your way to your dream career. You just need faith and a little push to the right direction. he love for clothes nowadays has grown exceptionally strong especially in young people. As much as we T need clothes to cover us up and make us look good we go nuts about spending money on clothes especially when there is also fashion trend going on. We cannot avoid to be left behind because we all want to look good, because when you look good you feel good. One of the things that drives young people insane about clothes is what’s trending. If we see this new jacket or jeans we so want to own it. In most cases this happens between the ages 15 and 25, these are the most obsessed people about clothes. Whenever they are given money by their parents, what comes quickly to their mind is clothes. They think about buying these name branded clothes which are the most expensive ones. We go on and on about spending money buying clothes that we don't even need, sometimes even forgetting that these clothes that we are purchasing on we don't really need them. Some go even an extra mile for something that they might have or repeat the same clothing items.
What we really don't know about spending too much is it affects our bank balances or rather our savings badly. Spending can be such a good thing if you do it in a right manner, which would be if you know how to use a small purse or wallet or know how to use a bank savings account. Others open up credit accounts that they don't need to take clothes whenever they feel like, not knowing that they are slowly entering themselves into debts of a lifetime. It all starts small with taking something one at a time and enjoying taking something because you only paying later and sometimes that late becomes a never.
So here's a tip to someone who loves to spend on clothes: Buy something in a rare color, you'll be surprised at how often you wear it. Budgeting s very important, do not spend on items you didn’t plan to buy.

Written By: Prophet K Tukwayo FEAR NOT
feels so awkward to be writing to women and girls at such a challenging time in our nation and actually tell them not to fear. The environment around us, the reports on the media, the pictures on social media are actually fuelling an atmosphere of fear every day. It is crippling fear, it is realistic fear and it is justified fear. The word of God tells us the opposite though, 2 TIMOTHY 1:7 "For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind." This word actually tells us fear is a spirit, a spirit created by all the factors I have mentioned above and it also tells us that fear is not from God which therefore means it's from the enemy. We also could concur to the fact that fear is not from God because the very things that create fear in our hearts are evil and the very source of them is clear. This word also tells us that God gave us power, power therefore means you have the ability to fight and win against the spirit. Power means you are not powerless, you are not a victim, and you are not without weapons. We know that the weapons of our warfare are not carnal, but they are mighty for the pulling down of strongholds. Which therefore we cannot win against this fear by wielding swords and guns but through prayer and engaging in
serious spiritual warfare for our daughters, our sisters, our mothers, grandmothers and grandchildren. The word also speaks of another weapon God gave us against fear which is love. Loving the boys that are neglected in our communities when they are still young and can be saved. Encouraging men in our churches and communities to pay some attention to fatherless boys and actually give of their time and love them. The last thing the scripture mentions is a sound mind. One thing I can see for sure is that the spirit of fear takes away the soundness of mind, being obnoxious, seeing danger in every bush. It takes away the sense of security and freedom, to your kids you may look like you have lost your mind because of the many no’s you give to things that kids think it’s normal for them to do but because you live in fear the soundness of your mind is taken away. God says He has not given us fear. We must decide then if we will receive anything that the Lord did not give us. ROMANS 3:4 says ".......Let God be true, and every human being a liar....." I want to say let God be true and everything that brings fear a liar. Let God be true and everything that seeks to steal our freedom a liar. Let God be true and every man that rapes, molests, breaks in, steals, emotionally abuse, be a liar. God bless and let's keep on keeping on. GENESIS 4:7 says ".........sin is crouching at your door, it desires to have you, but you must rule over it."
Television entertainment not entertaining anymore
As a young person a lot of things get your blood pumping but nothing is as exciting as movies are. Imagine how as a young individual you would rush home just to watch the eight pm movie on Sundays, how you would watch with enthusiasm from start to finish, remember how you would be thrilled after your favourite actor has claimed victory in the finale of the movie as if you know them personally.
Well apologies for blasting your bubble but with all that excitement movies can have a negative influence on young individuals mostly nowadays as young people are effortlessly persuaded.
Television makes young people violent, due to the easily accessible to the violent scene by watching television. Violent scenes does not only contain aggressive behaviours but also include some inappropriate things like sexual images.
When they are not protected from those scenes, they easily believe and tend to act like what the movies shows because they are not mature enough to see what true reality is. These kinds of images can make them believe that, that is something interesting and fun. Children and teenagers are in a stage of life were they want to be admired by their peers and would do anything to be admired.
Movies distracts young people who need to concentrate on their school work. These days, there are so many of cable channels that lure young children and take their attentions from their studying. Because young children lack self-control and deciding when to stop, if they start watching television, it is hard to stop and make them stay away from it and focus on what they are supposed to do.
But television is not all bad. It can help change their behavior and attitude for good. Most movies can have educational content that allows young people to learn and better themselves and also educational encourage children to try new things
I’m sure along with everyone else you ask yourself if the parental
guidance (PG) age restriction still works. Well to be honest it depends on the parents and how well educated they are on movies age restrictions. The saddest part is that some parents are not well educated and such lack of knowledge allows young people unlimited freedom when it comes to watching movies.
To sum up, I understand there are many advantages of watching television and movies. People are able to release stress by watching movies and television has educational programs for young people. But you cannot deny that young people should have more time to play with others outside so that they can have interactions with them, and it is much better to read a book to gain knowledge.
