ARAGON

Aragon is currently focusing on club elections for the month of February. They will take place over the course of two weeks and we will begin training the officer elects soon afterwards. We hope they'll be able to begin their respective duties at the start of the new term and before the school year ends. We are very excited for conclave next month and will also begin informing members and preparing two delegates to attend and vote for the next lieutenant governor.

Balboa

In the month of January, Balboa Key Club was busy getting the hang of the ins and outs of Key Club. After getting a thorough understanding of how we should run the club with the help of our LTG and other supportive members of the community; we held a board meeting to give our input on how we should run this club. We held a meeting on an irregular day due to the lack of Mondays we had at school in January. Unsurprisingly, many members attended. With such little time left in the month we planned an event as soon as we could, thanks to our experienced event planner Skylar Dang. With the help of CYC and Balboa Red Cross, we beautified the community surrounding Balboa High School. Though we didn't do much this month, we're confident that we can do better.

Carlmont

Over the past month of January, Carlmont held 14 different service events which included our monthly school clean-up, painting rocks, writing letters to Ukrainian refugees, and more. We also held an End-Of-Semester Celebration to recognized our distinguished members from the first semester and had a PTP fundraiser where we watched a movie afterwards. Many members were successfully able to gain service hours in their last stretch to complete their hours for the MRP. In February, we plan to continue with both our in-person and Zoom events and have quite a few Valentine's Day-themed events coming up. Additionally, Carlmont also just hosted their officer elections and has elected their board for the 2022-2023 term! For the remainder of February, we will be focusing on training our new officers and the application process to fill our committees and their members. We are super excited to finish this term off strong!
