Aloha Aqua Apes!

I hope that you’re all enjoying the hot weather and relaxing now that we’re all out of school. Now that it’s nice outside I’ve been trying to start running more regularly (which has been incredibly hard since I haven’t gone on a run for months). Even though there is really nice weather, please remember to maintain social distancing guidelines as it’s still important to protect ourselves and family members!

Another month during the term has come and gone; this time we had so many service and social events! We baked banana chocolate chip cookies, wrote letters to hospitalized kids (hosted by San Mateo :), colored pictures to brighten someone’s day, and last but not least - we had a Region-wide Key Club Training Conference! A lot of time and planning went into each of these events, and I hope that you were able to attend at least one of them this past month. Even though KCTC was online, when usually it’s a fun in-person event filled with workshops and even a water-balloon fight, I hope that you all had fun and learned something new!

Looking at the month ahead, please make sure to take advantage of your free time, whether that’s planning events in your clubs, learning a new hobby, or making progress on some summer homework. There’s so much we can do with the help of the internet and social media, so the options for learning are limitless!! If you need a recommendation of things to do, I got you covered. Hey Aqua Apes!

I hope everyone is doing well and enjoying a nice start to their summer break! Maybe taking up some new hobbies? I know these aren’t the ideal conditions for summer vacation but try and stick it out for the health and well being of everyone, you got this! We had a packed month full of service events; thank you to everyone who attended them! I’m so proud of how well our division has adapted to the quarantine and everyone who has continued to serve! Hopefully with the absence of schoolwork we can continue going strong during the next few summer months! Greetings Aqua Apes!

Hope you guys have been enjoying the virtual events we have been putting together! Thank you all so much for all the work you guys have put in despite these circumstances. This past month, it has been a pleasure to have been introduced to so many new people and I certainly hope to get closer with all of you. As summer comes around, stay on the lookout for exciting fundraisers and service projects which I’m looking forward to and hope to see all of you guys there. Maybe try something that you’ve always wanted to do this summer. Feel free to reach out if you have any questions or just want to talk in general :)

Hey Keyuties!

Summer break has officially started! I for one am excited to spend my summer doing new things and hopefully hanging out with friends! I hope that all of you get to try new things and enjoy your summer break while also taking the time off to focus and take care of yourselves! We also have events over the summer including KCTC! I was excited to see all of the club activities last month and I’m looking forward to what you guys can do during the break!
