Notes From The Director “The Wizard of Oz” has been a passion of mine for nearly 30 years. Ever since I saw the MGM classic, I have always wanted to bring it to the stage. Having had the opportunity twice before, I am very proud to bring this musical to Grove as our inaugural production. This is a rare show that is both enjoyable for adults and children. This timeless story of love and friendship inspires and delights the child within all of us. Our wonderful and talented actors, singers and dancers have worked incredibly hard to bring this tale of awe and wonder to you. I’m also very proud of the production team, who despite the time, money and other constraints of a school production, has created sets, special effects, costumes and props, that make the “magic” of the theatre come to life. Lastly, I have to thank my team of directors, faculty, staff and the parents who have come together around this production and shown me the love and support that can only be felt through the fine arts. I couldn’t have done it without you. We’re off to see the Wizard! The Wonderful Wizard of Oz! - Jeffrey Haynes
