Ages 6-36 months. Parent(s) must participate in the water with the infant. This class teaches underwater acclimation while parents learn how to give their child a positive experience in the water. PRESCHOOL 10:30-10:55 a.m. Preschool 1 3 to 5 year olds who are new to the water will develop comfort in the water, learn water entry, bubble blowing, floating, kicking, underwater exploration and general water safety skills. Preschool 2
11-11:35 a.m.
Prerequisite: Able to demonstrate completion requirements of Preschool 1. 3 to 5 year olds who are very comfortable in the water will learn new skills such as combined arm and leg action on front, treading with support and general water safety skills.
CHILDREN’S LEVELS 1-4 11-11:45 a.m. Level 1 Prerequisite: Must be age 5 the first day of the program in order to participate and be comfortable away from parent. Objectives: Supported floating on front and back, gliding, kicking, and alternating arm and leg action. 12-12:45 p.m. Level 2 Prerequisite: Must possess level 1 skills including supporting floating and kicking. Objectives: Unsupported float, gliding, kicking on front and back without support, combined arm action with kick on front and back, treading water without support, personal safety and rescue skills. 1-1:45 p.m. Level 3 & 4 Prerequisite: Must be comfortable in lap pool and possess Level 2 swim skills. Objectives: Front crawl with breathing to the side, coordinated back crawl, elementary backstroke, scissor and dolphin kick, treading water skills, diving from the side of the pool and personal safety and rescue skills.

Must have completed Starter Paws prior to purchasing.
Personal training sessions include cardiovascular exercises, muscle strengthening and endurance exercises, and flexibility exercises. Nutrition consultation sessions include discussions about dietary habits and goals for nutritional intake based on individual nutritional needs and within the scope of practice of the nutrition practitioner. The Fitness Center reserves the right to make referrals out rather than provide services to clients when issues exceed the scope of available services and/or scope of practice of the practitioner. REFUNDS
Refunds will be given for sessions if there is a documented medical issue that precluded provision of 24 hours’ notice of the need to cancel or reschedule. A refund will also be given if the scheduled sessions are returned to the session pool for administrative purposes. CARRYING SESSIONS FORWARD ONE SEMESTER
A maximum of three sessions (sessions, consultations, tests) may be carried forward for one semester (spring to summer; summer to fall; fall to spring). Any sessions not used by the end of the second semester will be forfeited.

SPECIALTY CLINIC Sat., Feb. 2 9 a.m.-1:30 p.m. Meeting Room Panther FIT Our Fitness Instructor Training (F.I.T.) program is designed to prepare the fitness enthusiast to lead safe and effective group exercise classes. Join us for this four hour in-person workshop to kickstart your instructor training. After the kickstart workshop, we will meet weekly until April 23 to give you hands on practice teaching a variety of formats from Panther Sculpt to Cardio Kickboxing. This course will prepare you for a nationally accredited group fitness certification.

For e-games, individuals will be required to pay a $10 fee if/ when a player forfeits a game. If the individual/team forfeits a game, the captain will be sent a notification through IMLeagues informing him/her that the team must make the $10/$30 online payment to remain eligible to participate. BREAK TRIPS
MULTISPORT SPRING BREAK NEVADA & UTAH NATIONAL PARKS Friday-Sunday: March 15-24, 2019 This will be the multisport adventure of a lifetime! On this beginner friendly trip, we’ll be exploring some of the best locations Nevada and Utah has to offer. From Vegas, we will spend two days canoeing Black Canyon, camping along the river and soaking in natural hot springs, 1.5 days rock climbing and caving lava tubes in Snow Canyon State Park, 1 day hiking along the giant hoodoos of Bryce Canyon National Park. We will spend 1.5 days in Zion National Park highlight trail is Angel’s landing. 1.5 days in Escalante National Monument where we will explore slot canyons and petroglyphs. Our last day will be spent climbing in Red Rocks, NV or visiting Mount Charleston, ending with an evening with the option to visit old Vegas. On this adventure, we will be camping in the gorgeous desert landscape along canyon bluffs in primitive sites. Trip package includes ground transportation, nine nights camping, meals, instruction, and outdoor equipment. Experienced climbers may lead climb routes during normal hours. You must follow the designated lead route. Ask about a Lead Climbing Certification Clinic to certify or challenge out. You must be belay certified for at least six months or prove significant experience before taking this clinic. Offered Feb. 2, 9 a.m.-1 p.m. and Mar. 29, 8 a.m.-2 p.m. Cost: $5, $8, $10
The cave has both vertical and horizontal overhanging terrain. Any skill level may use it in a “no ropes� bouldering format. It is located across from racquetball court #4 adjacent to the Climbing Wall. Check in with the Climbing Wall attendant.

Focus is on creative problem solving and effective communication. The experience will increase trust and enhance group cohesion. Programs are tailored to meet the needs of the group. LOCATION Sites vary depending the group’s preference. Groups may choose facilities and grounds from our our challenge course at Indian Creek Recreation Area, the downtown campus or off-campus locations. RESERVATIONS Complete online reservation. Reserve date and make payment at least three weeks in advance. Confirm all details two weeks in advance. A minimum of a 10 person charge is required but larger or smaller groups are easily accommodated. Sessions may range from two hours, half-day or full day.
