Celebrate Earth Day Friday, April 22 Earth Day Environmental Stewardship Party Participate in daytime service projects, evening party or both! During the day, learn from environmental speakers and help with tree planting, trail building, eradicating invasive species and promoting a healthy forest. Celebrate in the evening around a fire and see trees from above on the high ropes course zipline. More information on free giveaways, food, transportation and schedule of events can be found online or by emailing us at touchtheearth@gsu.edu. Lunch for volunteers provided. Tai Chi uses yang-style 24 form as moving meditation. It incorporates slow-motion movements to balance and strengthen the body while the mental concepts calm the emotions and reduce stress. Hapkido

Liability waivers will be signed at the time of registration or on the day of the trip. Cost Categories are as follows: GSU students/Recreation members/Others Refunds To receive a refund, you must cancel more than 10 days before the trip date. Participants who do not show up for a trip will not receive a refund. No refunds will be given for deposits on break trips. Money paid toward the trip balance is not refundable after the date of the pre-trip meeting. Payment deadlines must be met or trip spot and all payments will be forfeited.

Touch the Earth Trip Descriptions Adventure Sports Cataloochee Ski Trips These Friday trips to North Carolina depart at 5 a.m. for the three hour drive. Ski all day and return to Atlanta by 8:30 p.m. Ski jackets and pants can be rented at the resort. Ski or snowboard and take a lesson. Note: All trips/times are subject to favorable snow and/or hazardous travel conditions. Canceled trips will be refunded or credited towards the next trip. Includes leadership, transportation, one day lift ticket, & ski or snowboard rental. Beginner lessons are an additional $10. Spend this Spring Break in Texas’s Capital and its surrounding outdoor landscape. Spend five days rock climbing, day hiking and sightseeing. We’ll also stop at various sites along the way including Jackson Mississippi and Louisiana. Highlights of the trip include star gazing in Mississippi, hiking in Longhorn Cavern and climbing at Enchanted Rock. We will camp near Pedernales Falls where you can take a brave dip in the river or try your hand at Geocaching. Get details about the trip at our informational meeting. The cave has both vertical and horizontal overhanging terrain. Any skill level may use it in a “no ropes� bouldering format. It is located across from racquetball court #4 adjacent to the Climbing Wall. Check in with the Climbing Wall attendant.

In the early evening, celebrate around a fire and zipline on our high ropes course.
