A proposed renovation for the interior of The Bindery in NYC. They expanded their office and wanted to update the aesthetic and furniture of the space. I built out their whole office in SketchUp and then designed and rendered out the new space. This consisted of a new bar/library area as well as updating their kitchen book shelve and dividing walls.
Nike SB put on an event for Go Skate Boarding Day outside of McCarren Park in Brooklyn, NY. With art direction from Nike and Jack Greer I designed the donut, coffee cup and skate ramps / rail. I produced the mechanicals for all the items, as well as creating the graphic for the coffee cup.
An event sponsored by Belvedere Vodka at the Apollo Theater. I built out the whole theater in SketchUp and laid out the proposed bars, seating, high boys, ect. I rendered and edited all the scenes as well as all the mechanicals and construction for the Africa shaped vodka installation.
For the holiday season Neiman Marcus wanted five vitrines each representing one of their fantasy gifts. We were given the location of a mall in Long Island, NY. From the beginning I worked hand in hand with the lead senior designer creating mood boards, to the SketchUp design decks, build / graphic mechanicals then to final load in.
Using an empty building space in Manhattan, NY, JCPenny Spring preview came to life. After deciding the initial theme of large florals and water color, the design was built out in SketchUp and then rendered to clearly represent the imagined space. I helped with layout, post editing, creating all the water color graphic effects applied to the front windows, top skylights and JCP poster and load in, organizing the florals and space.
OLIVER PEOPLES Renovating an existing London interior for an Olive Peoples boutique. The studio took material and furniture research on previous Oliver People stores to apply to the new image. We also took given floor plans and renderings to further develop our design. I modeled the existing building in Revit from scratch and developed a view that displays the store the best to be rendered. I also edited and completed the render post 3DS MAX, creating variety of variations on the form of the back lit wall, material usage and propping out the scene. Progress was halted due to relocation needs in London.
RIVIERA DRIVE Residential remodeling of a house located on Riviera Drive in Laguna Beach, California. As a team we dimensioned out the space and took photos to remodel the house in revit. Individually I took the exterior image of the original house and completely re-rendered it on Photoshop to represent the new desired look. Interior renderings were done by hand to show the new design on the interior.

PLANNING
ROW FACILITY The site for the row facility was placed on a trump wall to keep out the Ohio river when it floods. Given this initial circumstance I decided to make a lock system to allow the row boats to go through and back, instead of having the boats being carried up and over the trump wall, keeping minimal architecture on the flood side. Within the facility is indoor storage, training areas, a row tank and locker rooms. Outside there is also storage and an accessible green roof that in fills the structures brutal concrete slabs.

NATIONAL PARKS Due to remodeling of the Union Terminal in Cincinnati, the National Parks exhibit inside needed relocation. I choose a site right outside downtown Cincinnati next to a farmers market called Findlay Market. I analyzed the market and knew it would be an ideal location to draw people into this new pop-up. My idea for the exhibit was interpreting the National Parks in an art-based observational way. Within the space there are four main areas and activity booklets available to use through out the experience. At each area there is a viewing art installation, an art activity (in the booklet) and an area to understand each park’s different environment through hands on multi sensory displays. Design of tables and graphics were thought through also to complete the pop-up design.

Multi-housing
Building upon an existing pizza place in down town Cincinnati, we were to create a multi housing structure for 20 residents. The development of my building started with analyzing site constraints and wanting the outdoors to be very much involved. The structure ended up being vastly open with units that were either two levels for one bedroom apartments or three levels for two bedroom apartments. The units themselves were based off of tiny houses and only needing the pure essentials. Developing a space that brings nature to downtown Cincinnati and through out the building, with green roofs and outdoor areas.

ROW HOUSE The given site conditions were a 22’ x 110’ building lot with neighboring houses on both sides. Location and details were left for alteration. I decided to place my house in California on a slope to allow for my neighbor to set a story below me. The structure of the house is a brutal concrete wrap softened with glass and over run by nature. Allowing an open floor plan throughout lets sunlight and nature shine in and ample space for changing house conditions.

RIGID FORM Creating forms through different methods of casting / folding / layering I produced a series of objects that I turned into real life products by going through their use compared to shape.
geo laMp An abstract creation using Maya software to create a form that can be turned into a potential product. I created two different versions, both that can house lighting.
PARABOLIC I started with a simple 2D shape and extruded it to 3D and then expanded it to become a parabolic shelter in multiple stages.
Self developed and constructed branding and product, Portage. A six pack beer carrier and bottle opener that is making a small impact on a larger world issue. This product eliminates the need to get a new cardboard carrier every time one goes to create a six pack. Ease of transport with the solid bar handle and always an opener within reach.
Screen print This project exploded multiple ways of printing and stencil making. I then created a concept for a mood board graphic, stencil and line of screen printed clothing.
DEVELOPMENT
My goal was to visualize then render spaces / materials in unique styles such as graphite sketch, watercolor, and digital fabrication.
SELF WORK
A collection of my work ranging from hand sketches, drawings, collages and photography.
