88 RUE DU RHONE delivers a new kind of luxury watch for a new generation and era. 88 RUE DU RHONE was founded in 2012 by Elie and Pierre Bernheim, the grandsons of legendary watchmaker Raymond Weil. After seeing a niche in the watch marketplace for stylish, high-quality and value-minded timepieces, the Bernheim brothers were inspired to create a brand with those specific ideals in mind; 88 RUE DU RHONE embodies Swiss excellence and contemporary watch design all for accessible prices. 88 RUE DU RHONE’s Swiss-crafted luxury timepieces are recognizable through their refined and sophisticated design where the number 8, encompassing the ideology of good fortune and infinity, is inherent throughout the entirety of the collection.

Over the EE British Academy Film Awards weekend (15th-16th February 2014) a projection of every image from the «Behind The Mask» exhibition featured on the façade of BAFTA’s iconic headquarters situated at 195 Piccadilly, London as part of an art commission supported by BAFTA’s Official Timing Partner, 88 RUE DU RHONE.
In the Style Suite at The Savoy Hotel, London’s most historic 5 star hotels, Pierre Bernheim, CEO & Co-Founder, greeted the crème de la crème of the film industry who each received one of the 60 Limited edition timepieces, created by the Brand in celebration of the sponsorship with BAFTA.

When the battery is exhausted, it should be replaced without delay in order to avoid any risk of damaging the Movement. Please entrust the replacement of the battery only to an authorized 88 RUE DU RHONE concessionary.
INTERNATIONAL GUARANTEE The watch 88 RUE DU RHONE described on the limited warranty card is warranted for two years from the date of purchase. This limited warranty is valid provided that your 88 RUE DU RHONE watch was sold by an authorized 88 RUE DU RHONE dealer and that the warranty card (Limited Warranty Card / Guarantee Card) was fully and properly fulfilled by the latter. The limited warranty covers the defects in material or resulting from manufacturing of the watch.

Are excluded from this limited warranty of the manufacturer • Battery, crystal, strap. • Damage resulting from an accident, normal wear, negligence, misuse, abuse or from the intervention of any person not authorized by 88 RUE DU RHONE S.A. or its representatives. • Loss and theft. • Incidental or consequential damage arising from the failure or malfunction of the watch as well as from any inappropriate usage, lack of precision, malfunction or lack of conformity of the watch. In case of defects covered by this limited warranty, your watch will be, at the sole option of 88 RUE DU RHONE S.A., repaired or replaced free of charge. This is the sole obligation of 88 RUE DU RHONE S.A. resulting from this limited warranty and any implied warranties. The dealer is sole responsible for any other warranties it may have granted. The warranty becomes void in the event that any person not duly authorized by 88 RUE DU RHONE S.A. or its representatives attempts to repair the claimed defect. Should you require work under this warranty, please send your watch by insured mail and in a carefully wrapped package to one of the approved after-sales-service centers or take it directly to an approved 88 RUE DU RHONE dealer. The watch must be accompanied by the duly completed warranty card. Following repairs carried out under guarantee, the approved after-sales service center or dealer may invoice the return freight and insurance costs. The present guarantee applies subject to the rules and regulations in force in the country/state concerned, especially those concerning the benefits of the legal guarantee concerning latent defects.

How to care for your new watch Your 88 RUE DU RHONE watch is a beautiful timepiece. To ensure continuing pleasure and performance: • Keep your watch clean with a soft dry cloth. • Avoid contact with perfumes, spirits or petroleum products as these may damage seals, straps or case/ bracelet. • Ensure that the crown, which is used to change the hands/ date, is properly pushed in and/or screwed at all times. This prevents penetration by water or dust. • Avoid abrasions as scratching may eventually affect the case and bracelet. • If you are about to undertake heavy physical work, remove your watch. • If your watch has a leather strap, do not wear it too tightly fastened or expose it to water, unless the strap is water resistant. • Avoid subjecting your watch to rapid changes in temperature. • When not being worn, keep your watch in a cool dry place.
Servicing requirements • To ensure reliable performance your watch should be serviced at least every three years. • Batteries should last for up to three years. If your watch needs a new battery please attend to this immediately as dead cells can harm the movement. • A water resistant model should have its seals checked at least every two years and annually if the watch is worn whilst bathing or swimming to ensure its water resistance. • Your watch must be returned to an official 88 RUE DU RHONE agent for servicing and any other necessary repairs.

AUTOMATIC watch Your 88 RUE DU RHONE watch is equipped with a self-winding mechanical Movement and has a running reserve of 38 hours. NOTE: If your watch has stopped, before any adjustment it is necessary to rewind it manually by turning the crown clockwise 20-30 times in position (I). When you wear the watch, it will wind automatically with the natural Movements of your wrist.
Quartz/CHRONOGRAPH watch Your 88 RUE DU RHONE watch is equipped with a top quality quartz movement powered by a battery with an average life of 36 months, variable according to the frequency of utilization of the functions available on your model (chronograph, etc.). When the battery is exhausted, it should be replaced without delay in order to avoid any risk of damaging the Movement. Please entrust the replacement of the battery only to an authorized 88 RUE DU RHONE concessionary.
INTERNATIONAL GUARANTEE The watch 88 RUE DU RHONE described on the limited warranty card is warranted for two years from the date of purchase. This limited warranty is valid provided that your 88 RUE DU RHONE watch was sold by an authorized 88 RUE DU RHONE dealer and that the warranty card (Limited Warranty Card / Guarantee Card) was fully and properly fulfilled by the latter. The limited warranty covers the defects in material or resulting from manufacturing of the watch. 30
Are excluded from this limited warranty of the manufacturer • Battery, crystal, strap. • Damage resulting from an accident, normal wear, negligence, misuse, abuse or from the intervention of any person not authorized by 88 RUE DU RHONE S.A. or its representatives. • Loss and theft. • Incidental or consequential damage arising from the failure or malfunction of the watch as well as from any inappropriate usage, lack of precision, malfunction or lack of conformity of the watch. In case of defects covered by this limited warranty, your watch will be, at the sole option of 88 RUE DU RHONE S.A., repaired or replaced free of charge. This is the sole obligation of 88 RUE DU RHONE S.A. resulting from this limited warranty and any implied warranties. The dealer is sole responsible for any other warranties it may have granted. The warranty becomes void in the event that any person not duly authorized by 88 RUE DU RHONE S.A. or its representatives attempts to repair the claimed defect. Should you require work under this warranty, please send your watch by insured mail and in a carefully wrapped package to one of the approved after-sales-service centers or take it directly to an approved 88 RUE DU RHONE dealer. The watch must be accompanied by the duly completed warranty card. Following repairs carried out under guarantee, the approved after-sales service center or dealer may invoice the return freight and insurance costs. How to care for your new watch Your 88 RUE DU RHONE watch is a beautiful timepiece. To ensure continuing pleasure and performance: • Keep your watch clean with a soft dry cloth. • Avoid contact with perfumes, spirits or petroleum products as these may damage seals, straps or case/ bracelet. • Ensure that the crown, which is used to change the hands/ date, is properly pushed in and/or screwed at all times. This prevents penetration by water or dust. • Avoid abrasions as scratching may eventually affect the case and bracelet. • If you are about to undertake heavy physical work, remove your watch. • If your watch has a leather strap, do not wear it too tightly fastened or expose it to water, unless the strap is water resistant. • Avoid subjecting your watch to rapid changes in temperature. • When not being worn, keep your watch in a cool dry place.
Servicing requirements • To ensure reliable performance your watch should be serviced at least every three years. • Batteries should last for up to three years. If your watch needs a new battery please attend to this immediately as dead cells can harm the movement. • A water resistant model should have its seals checked at least every two years and annually if the watch is worn whilst bathing or swimming to ensure its water resistance. • Your watch must be returned to an official 88 RUE DU RHONE agent for servicing and any other necessary repairs.
