Your nose knows the distinct odor of natural gas. Although natural gas is odorless, an odorant has been added for your safety – so you can detect a gas leak as soon as it occurs. • When you smell gas, call the Louisburg City Hall right away, anytime, day or night. The telephone number is in the white pages of your phone book under Louisburg City Hall. • Do not light a match, flip electrical switches or operate appliances. Natural gas has an excellent safety record, and Louisburg is working to keep it that way. You can help, too, by using natural gas safely.

Louisburg junior Mackenzie Cannon helped the Lady Cat softball team win three of their four games last week and she did it with her arm and the bat. Cannon pitched a one-hitter against Fort Scott on April 8 to go along with eight strikeouts. In four games, Cannon tallied six hits, three RBIs, two doubles and a home run to help pace the Louisburg offense.
Great for yards, vegetable and flower gardens. 13-13-13 Good all around. 16-28-12 Great starter. 10-20-10 Another great starter.
