NOTICE Lifeline service is a government assistance program that provides discounts on monthly telephone service for eligible low-income consumers. Lifeline is supported by the Federal Universal Service Fund (USF). Only one Lifeline benefit is available per household. A household is defined, for purposes of the Lifeline program, as any individual or group of individuals who live together at the same address and share income and expenses. A household is not permitted to receive lifeline benefits from multiple providers. Violation of the one-per-household limitation constitutes a violation of the Lifeline rules and will result in the subscriber’s de-enrollment from the program. Lifeline is a non-transferrable benefit and the subscriber may not transfer his or her benefit to any other person. Willfully making false statements to obtain the benefit can result in fines, imprisonment, de-enrollment or being barred from the program.

All PPAS puppies and dogs are up to date on all of their vaccines (including rabies if age prohibiting), and will be micro chipped and registered in the adopter’s name at the time of adoption. Adopters get a free consultation at Cottonwood Animal Hospital within 14 days of adoption. Any dog that is six months of age or older will be tested for Heartworms and if found negative, will be kept on Heartworm prevention during their shelter stay, after the adoption it is up to the adopter to continue the highly recommended Heartworm preventative treatment. Also all PPAS shelter dogs are treated with a monthly topical flea/tick preventative and we ask that adopters continue that treatment as well. The shelter is open to the public: Mon, Wed, Thurs 11-6 and Sat 11-4. If you are interested in this dog or puppy, please either email Prairie Paws Animal Shelter at info@prairiepaws.org, for an application visit our website @ prairiepaws.org or call 785.242.2967 for more information.
