Spotlight Photographer “Connecting with Others by Naomi Driessnack Finding connections with people further connects me to the world and presents opportunities to make a difference that start with simply developing a relationship and listening to a story. Connections begin with a belief and everyone believes in something, whether it is the Great Spirit, God, truth, or reality. This common faith motivates me to learn the stories of others and continue down this wonderful path. My generation focuses on life as a series of instant, exciting, and enticing results, but I believe in finding fulfillment in each ordinary, slow day. I plan to change the way people view adventure. Each day I begin a new quest for stories and relationships and today that quest leads me to Western Kentucky University. There is a unique story behind every new face I encounter on campus, and there are a million life lessons guaranteed with every opportunity. My camera equips me with the confidence to pursue new stories every day, and I want to learn everyone’s story, especially the ordinary ones.
