KCON is returning to the Los Angeles Memorial Sports Arena and it’s bringing the biggest fan-centric, feels imploding celebration of Korean entertainment right to you. We built on the success of the last two years (successes made possible by you!) and decided to give ourselves a challenge—to make KCON bigger, better, and more fantastic. What is KCON? KCON is the first large-scale convention dedicated to “All Things Hallyu.” KCON is produced by Asia’s leading entertainment content company CJ E&M and its music and entertainment Mnet. If you asked us why we created KCON, we would say, without blinking, we created it for the fans. We launched this convention to give American K-Pop fans a personal experience with not only idols, but with each other, and to give professionals in the music, fashion, television, and food industries a destination to come together. KCON 2013 had over 20,000 fans jamming out to the M COUNTDOWN concert and expanding their Hallyu knowledge in panels and workshops. This year is set to be even bigger with not one, but two nights of M COUNTDOWN and even more panels featuring guests from K-Drama, K-Pop, K-Beauty, e-Games. Our greatly expanded KCON Market has over 200 vendors where you can find the latest CDs, fashions, and some of our favorite local food trucks and eateries! Listen, dance, learn, eat, and experience #KCON2014! It is our greatest honor to fuel the spark of Hallyu for our fans and friends with a truly special event. We hear mics turning on, guests readying to perform, and the wafting scent of Korean food. That can mean only one thing— Enjoy, and get your Hallyu on!

For any artist engagement session, you will be allowed in the area only if you have the appropriate Artist Engagement Pass; for the LOL programs, you will be granted entry only if you have the ticket for that session. All attendees must completely leave their respective panel, workshop, or activity tents at the conclusion of each programmed event to allow room for the next group of attendees. You will not be permitted to stand on chairs, ladders or any other type of elevated materials which may result in any other audience members’ view being obstructed and/or risk your personal safety. To ensure the safety of all Convention featured guests, you will not be permitted to crowd the stage at any time. As a courtesy to all Convention featured guests, enter and exit quietly while the programs are in session.
PHOTOGRAPHY AND VIDEOGRAPHY POLICIES ●
● ●
Photographs and video recordings by attendees are generally allowed in the common areas of the Convention. Specific rules may separately apply to specific programs. DSLR and/or interchangeable lens cameras are strictly prohibited at each Concert. Video footage of the Event will be gathered by KCON staff. By entering the Event, you consent to be filmed or photographed in accordance with the full terms and conditions of the Event.

B1A4 The boys of B1A4 debuted in 2011 with their single “O.K”. But, they were actually introduced to the public through a webtoon. While a young group, they have already released two studio albums, four EPs and various singles in South Korea, along with a compilation album of their first two EP’s, “Let’s Fly” and “It’s B1A4”. With the hope of spreading their music across the world, they began their foray into the Japanese market in 2012 with a showcase. This new venture was so successful that the group released remakes of two Korean singles, “Beautiful Target” and “Sleep Well, Good Night,” as Japanese singles, each of which peaked at #4 on the Oricon weekly singles chart. Best known known for their fun, light-hearted, hum and dance-along music, they are a group not to be missed at KCON 2014!

BTS BTS is a seven-member hip-hop group, who debuted in June 2013 with the single album “2 Cool 4 Skool”. Even though the group is quite young and fresh, they are known for their genuine rap-style and flawless choreography. Before their debut, the members of BTS showed their respect and admiration for American rap music. Famously, Rap Monster, Suga, and Jin showcased their rapping skills by covering Kendrick Lamar’s “Swimming Pools (Drank)”. In 2014, they released the mini album “Skool Luv Affair”, featuring the hits “Boy in Luv” and “Just One Day.” They have been able to relate to American K-Pop fans and create a passionate fanbase because of their fantastic rapping and their ability to creatively draw upon American rap-culture.

SPICA The ladies of SPICA are best known for their sultry vocal talent. The group released their prologue single “Potently” in 2012 and officially debuted with their mini album “Russian Roulette” directly after that. Their next digital single “Tonight,” and the accompanying music video (produced by K-Pop goddess Lee Hyori and her husband Lee Sangsun) was their biggest hit and placed them in the top 10 on the Gaon Music Chart. Building on their success, SPICA recently released their soulful single “You Don’t Love Me” inspired by the music of the 1960s. Showcasing lyrics written by Kim Bo A and Lee Hyori, this song illustrated that SPICA, through their collaborations and raw talent, is a girl group to be reckoned with.
